Museum of the art of origami, with special exhibitions & hands-on workshops for kids & adults.
A truly enjoyable visit to a unique place. Worth a visit, especially for those who enjoy or admire the art of paper folding.
What a place! There is no signage at street level. Fortunately a very kind custodian explained that I needed to climb two sets of stairs and buy my ticket once I got there. I returned the day after my visit to get the gentleman at the desk to teach me a fold that fascinated me. He couldn’t have been more accommodating and even allowed me to take a video of his demonstration.
It can be a bit of walk to get here from central Zaragoza but it really is a fantastic museum if you enjoy the art of paper folding. Located on the top floor and accessible by either stairs or lift, admission is normally €3 per person (September 2022 prices.Museum explains the history of Origami and there are a number of artefacts made in the style including flowers, portraits and dresses. If you enjoy Origami and are interested in how far this art form has been taken then please visit. It was very quiet when we visited.
Impressive exhibition.
Some really cool bits of origami. Quite a small exhibition, but interesting. Its a school for origami too apparently, which we didnt get to experience, but that would be cool.
Even if you are not into Origami, this museum will blow your socks off! The pieces they have on display are truly majestic works of art, its hard not to appreciate and admire the extraordinary talent to work on this craft. The museum is not very big, but very complete, and definitely worth visiting in Zaragoza.
I visited this museum for the first time in 2017 and have remembered it fondly ever since. This weekend I had the opportunity to visit Zaragoza again, and the first thing I said was "we have to visit the origami museum!"It is only €3 to enter the museum (€2 for concessions). The first room discusses the history of paper folding, with English translations for the most important placards in the museum. Meanwhile, the remainder of the space hosts exhibitions, which change around every 3 months. It is amazing to see some of the incredible sculptures the artists are able to create with only paper! The museum is located within the Centro de Historias which also has modern art exhibitions that you can visit for free. The staff are incredibly helpful, and the building is wheelchair accessible.
Excellent origami museum - fascinating!
Wow wow wow. That was an unexpected surprise. Absolutely amazing. I even didn’t know about a museum of origami. 😱 small but impressive. Some of the origami saw are simple unbelievable. I’m very happy to be able to see it. Don’t miss it.
Best origami even seen. Lange exhibitionisme too in a very nicely designed building
Utterly stunning lil museum 🪷💕 with calming classical music playing, we left amazed and zen 😽🙏 only €2 entry for students ! The whole building is cool with other free exhibits
Nice little collection I did not expect to see in Zaragoza. (For those struggling to find the entrance, its on the 2nd floor of Centro de Historias).
A lovely exhibition with a nice introduction on the history of origami to help you understand the art. The following exhibits are beautiful and you could have a little class in origami but our Spanish wasnt up to it.

Not worth it. Really small.
I was expecting more. Small tapas or I can said the tapas of the tapa
Best thing in Zaragoza for €3.
Small but impressive museum, worth the €2-3 entrance fee.
Delightful small museum
Amazing.
Amazing!! I was blown away by the origami we saw. Loved it
Absolutely amazing! I had no idea what origami art existed outside of animals. This is an exquisite collection of the entire gamut of styles. Nice historical timeline or how paper was first created in China to how the art of origami spread around the world. Explanations of different styles of folding and types of paper. Huge wall hanging pieces that look like fabric, plastic or leather. Many are painted. Every kind of shape. 3€. Quiet section of town. On the 2nd floor within a larger historical museum with other small exhibits which are free. Definitely worth a visit.
Who love art they can come here.
Great little museum! It covers paper folding history both in the eastern and the western countries. It also has descriptions and exmaples of different types of origami - organic, modular, elemental etc. In the end there is an impressive origami exhibition. This museum definitely taught me a lot about origami, and changed my idea of what origami is.
History of Origami... some very ecxiting origami art as well
Some of these origamis are simply unbelievable. Really interesting exhibition.
Great surprise, beautiful artwork and music. Very relaxing and interesting visit. Highly recommend
One of its kind ... May not be interesting for everyone...but its very nice.Clean and quiet environment.
Small a nice place. Entry free are worth the short exhibition of wonderful origami pieces
Nice place, varied and frequently renewed exhibitions and workshops
Wonderfully inspirational museum which demonstrates how paper can be turned into art. Some pieces were breathtaking some in their complexity and others in their simplicity.
I have never seen anything like this before. The art is amazing. Very happy to be able to take photos.
The origami was very interesting. There was some english translated signs, but the majority of displays were only in Spanish. But all very interesting. Some amazing sculptures made of paper.
Small but cute
Nice place if you like origami. Dont count more than 30 minutes for a visit
Great place to visit. The second floor seems to have space for rotating exhibits. The top floor is devoted to the origami part of the museum. The cost to go in is very cheap oh, but its free on Tuesdays.Well worth the visit, and then to head out to the park thats right across the street from it.
Chillino
Located on the second floor of a cultural building with rotating exhibits. The other exhibits were lacklustre, but I enjoyed the origami exhibit which costs 3 euro to enter. Some good English translations was also highly appreciated
Great place, but a bit short. You can complete it in about 20-30 minutes.
what more can i say but WHOA. one of the most unique, informative museums i’ve been to. as lovingly and intricately detailed as the works it displays.
Wonderful models, very artistically done! Excellent exhibit of a Vietnamese origami group.
Amazing place. I could not imagine that I would see such creativity with papers. A must see.
My first visit to EMOZ - fantastic!!!Beautiful exhibits, really loved it.Thoroughly recommended :)

I admire the skill and patience this must take as it is hard to believe somebody folded paper to make these amazing things.
