Nice Hotel and friendly staff. Great location and about 10-15 mins to the Santa Claus village. Recommended.

Hidden inside a modest five storey building and surrounding a fancy court yard, you cannot guess that there is a rather classy hotel behind the walls. We took a superior sauna room (yes, that exists here in Finlandwhich we did not regret. Beds were excellent, the decoration was up to the standards of a 4 star hotel, only the bathroom felt cramped and water spread to the entire floor even when showering quickly. We discovered a rich selection of dishes included in an opulent Finnish breakfast that largely eliminates the need for having lunch. The hotel features two restaurants, one à la carte with a modest menu and restricted wine list and the other a buffet restaurant with an even more restricted wine and beer list, that is good value for money. In all a very positive experience in this pleasant city for art lovers, architectural freaks and shoppers.

Middle of city near by shopping mall, restaurant and bar. very good breakfast but room was quite hot.

I stayed here almost a week. This hotel’s location made things very convenient as you could stroll around anywhere nearby even at midnight and it was completely safe. Location is major plus.There are two big malls close by the hotel where you can get warm clothes and shop some souvenirs for your family and friends.Room was clean and tidy, I liked interiors and in general room had a modern feel to it.I liked the feel good lights in the room and in the bathroom as well.— — — —I don’t understand why don’t any of the hotel’s branches provide Kettle no matter what the room standard is.Rooms were provided with basic shampoo, shower gel and towels. No footwear, No kettle.If you want to drink warm water you would have to go down to the reception and bring it back up to the room in a plastic cup.

Lovely City. Good food and the kids loved the snow. Worth the trip

Tiny rooms. Beds are horrendously soft which makes sleeping impossible. No shelvs for clothing so you wear out of your suitcase.Feces & urine from previous guests remained on toilet.Food is not tasty and always lacking.The only good thing is its location.

The food was not so good, beds were soft but too soft for people with bad backs. The service was good and rooms got cleaned every day

We stayed here for 4 nights and 5 days. The hotel is located 10 mints away from Santa Claus village, Mobile bike, Husky ride & Reindeer ride. Hotel has a restaurant with liquor, lobby bar, gym, Sauna, oriental breakfast vegetarian options were lacking. None the less could supplement it with bread, cornflakes, fruits & hummus. Can surely make efforts to add better vegetarian breakfast though. Overall a smooth stay, polite staff.

Hotel is in the center of Rovaniemi, with comfortable rooms, friendly and warm staff.Breakfast is great and hotels restaurant is good as well.Highly recommended with best value for money!

Clean hotel. Good breakfast.Cons:Very rude and racist lady at the reception.All buffet and breakfast menu items were labelled in Finnish making it very hard for non-Finnish speakers to understand.Rooms lacked some basic items mentioned online such as electric kettle.The staff were overwhelmed and severally took it out on guests. This happened once to me and twice to another family at the restaurant.

Great location and a nice no-frills hotel. Breakfast was good.The room was big, however the extra sofa-cum-bed wasnt the most comfortable. The bathroom got wet as the water leaked through the glass divider.We received an early check in, however, we wish the hotel allowed guests to extend stay by the hour or by half a day. We had a train departing at night and the only option we had was to check out around mid-day or pay for a whole night.

Nice hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast and dinner were also particularly commendable.

The experience with the front desk was horrible. They tried to make us pay for two double rooms, when in fact there was only one. When we pointed that fact, and that the price tab was impossible for the amount of time and people, the lady at the front desk couldnt recognise the fact, and kept pointing that we had to pay what the sistem told. At no point did she recognised the impossibility of the amount. We had to wait until the next day (when we were leaving very earlyfor somebody else to fix the obvious mistake. And then it was has if nothing had happened, a weak sorry, and thats it.I couldnt sleep all night, and for them it was just ok. And, we had asked if we could pay with a bank transfer, by email, almost 3 days latter, and still no answer.Finally, we asked for the bus timetable, the one they gave us was wrong. After being in the cold (it was snowingfor almost 15 minutes we had to call a taxi.A very bad experience.

Location is great with 2 shopping malls close by (one across the street). Supermarket in the mall across the street carries a fantastic selection of products at reasonable prices. Breakfast is mediocre but needs to end later (9:30am is s bit earlyand to hire more staff. At 9:20am there’s s mad rush of people to have breakfast and the tables are not cleared quickly enough or the food refilled fast enough.Rooms are decent... we had the family room so size-wise it was fine albeit the bathroom is a tad small. Clean with some bathroom amenities. What I found a bit strange is that the windows looked into the interior of the hotel (overlooks the breakfast areaand so even if it’s a sunny day you don’t get any natural light into the room. Good I guess in the summer with 24hr sun but bad in the winter when you want to get what little sunlight there is.The restaurant Bord seems nice but the day we went it was a disaster. It wasn’t that busy and it took them 20 minutes to clean a table to seat us. Then it took another 20 minutes to take our order and that’s because I went to the front counter to place my order. Other patrons were waiting for long times as well for their orders to be taken. My daughter’s pasta arrived cold and hard even if the bowl was warm. Appetizers were served at different times so it was either I eat mine alone or let it get cold while I wait for my wife’s. Finally cancelled everything and went to another restaurant.

Probably, one of the best hotels in Rovaniemi. Cosy rooms, great breakfasts, nice view from rooms to inner spaces plus great service. The cost is respectively high, but you can be lucky with discounts at booking sites.

It is good centrally located air-conditioned hotel, I had stayed here one night. Room size is sufficient , it is not very big.for electric kettle they charge me ten EUR extra. Toilet is neat and clean. Mattress is very soft, it is not very comfortable.Reception staff is polite and helpful. They allowed us early check in around 12 p.m instead of 3 p.m, luggage room is there for storing luggage.Breakfast is good. It is recommended to stay here.

We stayed here just for one night. The hotel is very good, located centrally. Lots of areas to move around, just outside the hotel.Rooms are smaller but quite functional. Well equipped with all the required amenities. Good toilets with all the necessary requirements. Calm and quiet rooms, we had a nice night sleep.Breakfast was very good. Lots of varieties. I loved the varieties of bread and cheese and cake. Juices were good as well and so was my favourite hot chocolate. Despite being a vegetarian, there was no dearth of choice.Overall good service.Good hotel providing pleasant stay.

A good 4 star hotel with a decent price. Located in the Rovaniemi city center with easy access to Taxi, shopping mall and many restaurants.The staffs were friendly and the room was nicely designed. The breakfast also had lots of varities.

Great rooms. There very clean and quiet. Really close to all shops. I loved the heated floors. Kept my boots dry and toasty from a long night of chasing Aurora lights. Which were disappointing, but thats another review for mother nature. Staff provides exceptional service too. Always greet you with a smile.

Very nice place. The rooms are quiet and clean, the personnel is nice and well prepared. We had a dinner at the restaurant and the quality is good also. We had hamburgers and salad, good quality for the price paid. Finally, the breakfast has a wide choice of continental food.

Excellent location! Breakfast was also nice. Buses to safaris come and pick you up directly at the reception if you mention this hotel in your safaris reservation. Beds are also very comfy. We had a very pleasant stay!
