Modern hotel, well located close to the motorway (still quiet area). Bar and restaurant are well run and breakfast has large selections incl. gluten free corner for celiacs. Coffee machines are good (Schaerand Espresso is drinkable for a non Espresso-machine. Service and staff is supportive and friendly. Room (junior suitewas clean and well equipped. Mattress could be harder/replaced as it was very soft.

Good size if the room. Good choice of food for the breakfast.Big minus was, room was not clean as it should be. Thats usually in Scandic hotels.

Everything about the hotel is great. The staff was nice, the room was clean and they were very helpful with requests.The restaurant was also good and the buffet really tasty.The only thing that keeps me from giving five stars is that they charge for tap water.

Nothing out of expectations when it comes to a Scandic hotel. Breakfast was the best part. Freygaard burger was also tasty.

A business hotel in the middle of nowhere, but conveniently located for visiting Legoland. The hotel appears new, has good air conditioning, and a fantastic breakfast (included in the price of the room). There is also a Netto grocery store a short drive from the hotel. Good value for the price.

The hotel is super but if you drive with the electric car it’s a messy aventure. on web site said that have electric charge parking place but only for danish customer to clever operator, if you want to pay to charge no way because you need abonament. I get the hotel gest because have electric charge but only a fake record , on the parking place it’s 10-15 electric car in the same situation, 👎

Very nice hotel. Room was comfy and modern. Hotel seems to be very well maintained. Staff was very kind and polite.The breakfast is perfect with many choices (salty or sweet or healthywith an ecological mindset (zero plastic !). Also the cleaning is on demand if you are staying a couple nights. The hotel is located at 15 min from Kolding downtown.Free and large parking, you just need to inform your license plate.

One of the best restaurants in ever eat!! Personal are really extra and the food (also wineis absolutely perfect. As well for the rooms I was there during a week nothing bad to say.

The overall quality of atmosphere is great. I went there for the conference facilities, and I have no complaints. The facilities and service are as what could be expected of a place such as this.The food is really good, and highly recommended.

This hotel is a good stopover place to stay in for a night or so. Its situated next to the highway but still far enough from it to avoid traffic noise.The room was OK, providing the necessary comfort. The food in the restaurant was also good but the place lacks some atmosphere. Breakfast meets the high standard of the Scandic group.

Clean and silent rooms, easy to check in, but one thing that was catastrophic was 69 danish krona for a small chicken-bone in mine Caesar salad brings my credentials down

Good hotel. Really good service, food and rooms. We had a family room that was just perfect for a family of 4 with to kids age 10/12

picked as a short stop since it is close to the main highway heading to Copenhagen, it is huge but weird vibes, so full of children walking around you would mistaken it for a kindergarten. The breakfast buffet is nice.

Great value for money. Breakfast included and dogs aloud. Unfortunately the cost for the dog is 200 Danish kroner, so we discovered that some people leave their dogs (barkingin the car on the parking lot during the night. It speaks for itself that they do this to save money. Luckily last night it wasnt too hot or too cold. Maybe good if Scandic is aware of this and would think about lowering their rate.

Hotel focused on business travelers and conferences. Impressive lobby and breakfast area, but the third floor where I stayed seemed a bit worn down.

Room was nice and clean and breakfast was good - about what I expect at a nordic hotel chain these days. The buffet benches/tables were a bit close together though, so at times it felt a bit crowded even though there werent that many people filling their plates.Kids loved the downstairs play rooms.Staff was friendly and helpful.

Quite nice hotel with a really big parking - need to give the driver license at the reception otherwise you will get a ticket which I quite expensive in Denmark😉 For such big hotel the gym is much too small.

The hotel i very nice and well prepared for families.Table tennis, air hokey, playzone for younger kids :)The food offering is wide and suiteable for the whole family, wether youre vegan, lactose free or fish and meat eater :)I recommend it to all.

Totally descent hotel. Excellent location. Very rich breakfast buffet. Nice restaurant with good ala card choice. Clean rooms. Snow -white bed clothes. Everything in the room one might need. Somebody told me that I got an "upgraded room" -there was a kettle, with choice of coffee and tee, safe deposit box and an iron with an ironing table. Small bathroom, but quite functional. There were small gym and a sauna in the hotel. Those might need renovation. All in all - a good value for the money. Warm recommendations.

This could be a super hotel but the lack of any ventilation in the room makes this a very expensive breakfast after a night with no sleep. If you enjoy staying a night with bad warm air this is the hotel for you. Service is ok though.

Room was good for a family of four, air con and a decent size bathroom. Price for the room was reasonable, but as mentioned in another review avoid the restaurant at all costs. Over priced buffet with minimum selection of food and they had the nerve to charge us for some "special tap water" which they never mentioned when we ordered it, thinking that it was just your complimentary water you normally get at most restaurants. Yet to try the buffet breakfast. Restaurant staff were ok but not warm, except for one gentleman who was pretty funny making jokes with the dining guests.Update: Breakfast was ok

Nice hotel, welcoming staff and overall good standard. Nice breakfast with a good selection. Rooms were nice and clean.Definitely a good choice if you are willing to travel a little to get to the parks.

Wonderful staff and amazing food in the restaurant. Would go back to eat if I lived closer! Outdated and worn rooms, kind of a bummer but clean and functional. Not very tasty coffee.

Well located hotel near the motorway. Reasonable value for money ratio. Fruitful breakfast. Rooms and bathroom are now being rebuilt - looks nice.

Very nice hotel with a very friendly and service minded staff. Breakfast is really good and will satisfy most people. They have special products for people with allergies etc.

Excellent hote for the business traveler. Rooms are very clean and comftable. Bed was relaxing and the shower was perfect. Plenty of power. The only disadvantages is you would need to have a car to get to places as its out in a industrial estate. Food at the restaurant was amazing, top quality

Very good meeting rooms and service. Everything worked and when we asked for help it came fast and valid. When you arrive you are approach by a host who ask if everything is good and of you need anything. I recommend this place for meetings

Friendly and efficient staff, clean rooms, nice bar and resteraunt, meeting rooms and play area plus plenty of parking. Over all a good place to stay and I would recommend to others. Only reason I didnt give 5 stars was because the rooms are a bit basic.

This hotel located near the E20 motorway and close to the industrial park. Unfortunately the town center far away. The rooms are not so good, the bathroom even worst.Nonetheless the breakfast is is very good, you can choose from a wide range of foods. I tried the ala carte menu in the evening, and I didnt dissapointed. So, the the rooms are average but the kitchen is splendid.

Good stop if you are on your way to LEGOLAND or either towards Sweden or Germany. Just 2 minutes drive from the highway.Very old rooms without A/C and you have a little table fan in the room. Room is correct. You need to upgrade for DKK 200/room/night to a Superior Room if you want A/C and a better standard and water boiler, tea/coffee bags in the room.Only 2 elevators for the whole hotel so it takes some time if you dont want to use the stairs.Super friendly staff though and the Summer Buffet for DKK 79/child and DKK 199/Adult is quite alright.

Possible to charge electric car (red industrial). Good breakfast. The room interior was a bit worn down and the shower drain was clogged resulting in a very wet floor, but otherwise ok.

Ive stayed here many times while traveling on business. Does the basics just fine, but not much more. Good, clean rooms of pretty good size.Restaurant is decent, which is good, as there is not much else in the vicinity

Really great destination when visiting Southern part of Jutland. Easy access to all main attraction, with Legoland only 35 minutes away by car. Great family activities doing special vacations, made it all a great family hotel.

Nice hotel, they need better shower faucets and shower heads. Other than that, they should think about updating their bathrooms in general. They are old and tiring. But good hotel and great service.

Very good out of town Hotel with shopping centre nearby. Staff were very attentive and friendly. Breakfast was excellent choice with a nice shot of ginger to start your day. Rooms a good size.

If you want the feeling of being transparent, govtry out their restaurant. 30+ minutes I was "politely" waiting with an empty glass, to hopefully be offered a menu for desserts, after finishing an average ribeye steak.I stead the fact that I have to stay here for another 2 nights.

Hello Ladies and gentleman,I am not very pleased with your kind of offering coffee to bus drivers since we do a very hard job.I was there myself last year and wanted to have a coffee since it is most of the time for free or at least a bit cheaper than normal. But sadly, you dont support that in your hotel. It would be nice if you would apologize how hard we are working. Like driving 09:00 hours in a day and having a 33ton bus and 50 passengers in the back wich we need to be aware of.But other than that, the hotel seemed to be nice since everything was clean and the staff was super friendly all the time.The free wifi supply was also a very useful pleasure.Everything seemed to be modern and the hotel was well climatized.I have to say, I was only in the lobby for like 01:30 hours and then driving back but this was what I saw and maybe something has already changed.One last thing: the vejdirektoratet blocked the way into the parking lot so I had to let my guests step outta the bus on the street wich was no parking zone.Best regards

Have stayed here for about 3-4 times, always on business trips. Office was just across the road, hence the location was just perfect for me. Breakfast had a great variety and the quality was good. Rooms have always been neat and tidy. Easily accessible as the bus stop is just a few minutes walk from the hotel. Walkable distance to the Kolding Storcenter and a few other restaurants/supermarkets nearby. Staff was friendly and polite. And the restaurant/bar have great food too!!

Rooms were reasonable size for one night. Location OK nearby motorway junction which I found good if you have to continue your trip in the morning. Rooms would require some kind of upgrade, ventilation is quite old-fashioned. Breakfast was very nice. Parking area was quite dark even there was some kind of lightning. Small shop near reception was very nice when arriving late and want just to eat something small before sleeping. Value you get for the price match.

The hotel itself itself OK (clean, tidy, good location, nice reception), but I found few issues which made me to depreciate my valuation.1. No air-conditioning in rooms.2. No elevators indicators at all floors apart from the ground one.3. Extremely slow elevators, some clients from 6-th floor decide to take stairs.4. Very old stuff at the inside playground area.The last but not least, what pi...me off, was when 3 coaches with Polish tourist came over at the parking, the staff turned off 3 out of 4 coffee machines, stating that these are out of order. Magically, the same equipment was in service the following morning when all guests came down for a breakfast (photos attached).First, there is nothing wrong in admonishing guests if some of them behave improperly. Second. Scandic guys - youre a private company. You do not have to compel yourself to handle with New EU Member States citizens if you dont want them.

Clean and peaceful hotel, but no airconditioning. It would make the stay more comfortable. Glutenfri food options well-considered in the breakfast.

OK hotel , room has no minibar and is a bit outdated. Plus with Scandic is always the HDMI connection for your own media. Hotel "fitness room" is freaking disgrace, too small and almost impossible to do a workout. Breakfast is OK.

This a business type hotel. The room I had was a bit dated on 6 floor but was clean and tidy. No tea and coffee in the room. The lounge and bar area was nice and modern. Breakfast was good.

Decent hotel, not amazing but not bad. The summer buffet menu is pretty good and changes per day. Rooms are clean and small. Pretty basic, overall not bad

Breakfast is good but service in restaurant is typical (poor or at best quaint). Rooms are either nice or old. Hotel has 2 wings old vs new. Shower much leakage. New rooms nice layout. I would suggest frequent visitors ofvthe Scandic chain to take the members card to gain access to privileged extras such as room upgrades or free breakfast. Offers change constantly. Gym in cellar but inhospitable.
