It is a beautiful property. The rooms are so cozy and beautiful. Loved the experience. Loved the breakfast. The sauna and gym are a great addition. Made my first time to Berlin worth it

We loved this hotel! We stayed for three nights. Our room located on the 6th floor and it was really nice room. Good size beds, minibar refilled daily and they clean your room if you ask it. This hotel has sauna, its the nordic type were you can throw water on sauna stove (believe or not, this is not always allowed in some saunasand as a Finn, I liked it. It was quite small so try to go there when its empty. The gym is near the sauna. Sauna and gym has a unisex changing room, but theres a small room for changing your clothes if youre needind that. Sauna is also unisex and there were extra bathrobes and towels to cover you up, but we had our sauna full naked because it was empty. So it was pleasant stay, we liked it. But like in every hotel, be early in breakfast, it can get really crowded. Breakfast was great, everything youll need.

Fantastic. I arrived today for travel for work and checked in first at another hotel which I had booked up front. That hotel was a nightmare. I literally fled the hotel after making a last minute booking at Scandic. After walking here I was welcomed with open arms. An issue with the payment (I had forgotten my credit card and needed a family member to guarantee for me and all issue coming with the fact having to explain to an elderly family member how to attach a form to an emailand other tries in between were met with a lot of patience and kindness. The rooms are clean, warm, tidy ,smell fresh and even have a balcony that is not locked. I am used to very good hotels but not for the rate here in the heart of Berlin. Cant be beaten! Will stay here every time I have to go to berlin and the Lady at the reception,Nadine, is so kind and helpful it is mind boggling. Delighted!

We ended up leaving with mixed feelings regarding our stay at the Scandic Hotel Kurfürstendamm.Positive notes:-the room was clean and we could frequent it earlier than check-in time suggested-reception staff was quite accommodating-the location was conveniently situated for our needs-rooms were not noisy, but our window faced the inner courtyard and they decided to rearrange and replant from 7am on our second night, a little notice on that wouldve been thoughtfulNegative notes:-the lobby, the elevator and the hallways looked dated-not only did they look dated, they looked very cheap - the plastic deer decoration, wild color ways. Altogether questionable taste that made us unsure if we stepped into the correct location at first glance.In a nutshell: this place is a convenient base but it didnt convince me it was worth the 110 € a night or a 4 star accommodation.

Friendly staff, great location, clean rooms.

I always stay at the Scandic Berlin Kurfurstendam when I an in Berlin. It has a great location in a quiet street but only a few minutes walk from the main shopping area and the lively gay area of the city. The staff are super friendly and most helpful. The rooms are clean and have large TV.s but only German speaking channels. Some rooms have balconies overlooking a large inner courtyard where you can sit an and relax in summer months and even eat breakfast, which by the way is a very varied choice of food Looking forward to future stays here.

Great hotel, not noisy and clean. Working staf is friendly.The welness is only open from 4 till 10 pm. Its possible earlier but you have to inform them.In mine opinion the bed was to hard.

Allergic rhinitis every night most likely due to dust, mite or mold in the room. Felt like 2-star hotel

Very nice hotel rooms, neat and clean, amazing view over Berlin, tasty breakfast but also very expensive (wasnt included). Sauna and gym were included and were also clean and not very crowded. Also enjoyed the mini fridges. 4,5 stars!!!!!

Stayed 3 nights in 4 bed family room, excellent for family with kids aged 9 & 12.Good parking in garage across the street (€15/24h)

Really nice hotel! The staff were all really friendly and helpful, the communal areas were clean and cosy, and the room itself, while simple, was very pleasant. The bed was comfortable and additional toiletries were supplied when we asked for them. The hotel is very well situated for travel connections (Augsburger Str U-bahn, Wittenbergplatz U-bahn, Kurfürstendamm U-bahn and the Zoologischer Garten S/U-bahn station are all a short walk away), with a couple of good coffee shops, bars and restaurants nearby too. As a bonus the room had a small fridge which is always useful when you’re staying for a few days and need to store supplies (and on that note, there’s a small convenience store over the road).

Hotel is overrated. Our 5 night stay was not what we hoped for. Especially the room service including room cleaning does not provide the promise.

Basic hotel. Good location. Wifi very bad. The air conditioning was inefficient. A strange locker in the sauna department. You need coin to use locker. Thats old fashioned.

Small rooms. The cleaners do not replenish tissue dispensers nor do they replace used coffee mugs. Service is good otherwise. Wifi works well. Small gym. Location is good, close to main connections such as Wittenbergplatz.

Quite a small room thus the rating . Lovely staff very accommodating . Breakfast provided a very good variety of food. Although I thought 19.50 € was expensive

Decent hotel in a wonderful Central location with bars and restaurants around. The rooms themselves are ok but a word of caution if you stay on the ground floor it is very noisy. The rooms are not Sound proofed and you can hear everything from the reception area and in the hallway. Also those rooms look onto the street directly so you have no privacy.

Love the Scandic Hotel chain and this one ia located in perfect area,in calm street and yet you are 2min walk with all the hustle and atractions such as KaDeWe mall...Zoo garden.etc..Hotel is nice.stuff is ok but this time was surprised that in 4 nights nobody cleaned my room.When i ask why they answer me it is upon a request,covid regulations.etc...I meen you are a Hotel,it is not normal for me to require my.room to be cleaned and to change the towels.I am just afraid that this kind of policy other Hotels want accept it.!

Hotel was wonderful.Super friendly staff. Spacious room. Price was super great. Breakfast is a MUST. So good and rich. Location is very good, close to a metro station and pretty close to Kudam street, yet its not the most central location but the value is amazing.

Very nice hotel with friendly staff, clean rooms with modern furnishing, eco-friendly attitude and free tea in the lobby. Only slight minus is: our room couldve been a little bigger.

Very friendly staff and rooms look nice, clean in appearence however, the toilet was not flushed (the toilet paper was floating in the toilet), there was an empty bottle of wine in the closet, there were some spider nets at the window and, as other guests seem to have remarked, the air conditioning is not working at all, it just makes a very loud and annoying noise for nothing, rooms are very cold.

Great hotel with a perfect location.Stayed for 3 nights. The rooms offers exactly what you expect. Fresh decorating, cozy beds, a good bathroom with a very good shower. Houskeeping only when requested. We asked for new towels and more coffee, which was never a problem.The location is perfect. When arriving at Brandenburg Airport, you can take to train to the Zoologischer Garten station and simply walk for few minutes. Its a nice stroll with a lot of shops and restaurants.And its also a very pleasant walk to U Wittenbergplatz when in need of the U-bahn. Its cozy station and it always felt safe. Day and in middle of the night. Its a great neighborhood* Good WiFI. Did stream Netflix without problem.* Stored our luggage after Check out for free

Very friendly staff and super tidy rooms, as well as a great location with approximately 5 minutes walking distance to KaDeWe.Unfortunately theres been a problem with the water heater, so theres only been access to boiling hot water, no cold water at all.The staff at the reception offered me several solutions for this issue and theyve been kind and attentive.I would definitely recommend this place, because of the location and the tidiness of the rooms.

Good location and tasty breakfast. However hotel has no air-conditioning in the rooms. There is a system installed but its not working. Big disappointment whet its 30°C outside. No parking places during a weekend.Happy to see reply from General Manager. Dear Ines, you are wrong. Friendly staff at the reception do not recommend rooms higher than 3rd floor as, quote: "it is even worst than on other floors in terms of air-conditioning". So you (or other staff membersis/are aware of the issue but refuse to take the action. Therefore no, there is no air-conditioning in your hotel. Please avoid this place under such management.

This is my home Hotel in Berlin when ever Im there! Very clean, wonderful Service, location is great. Rooms & prices are extremely COMFORTABLE! My place to be on Berlin!

I stayed in Scandic for my short visit to Berlin .It was comfortable and the front desk staff were sweet . It is a cozy place but the location is superb you are within walking distance to 2 metro stations.KaDeWe is about 2 minutes away and the zoo is close too. Sustainability is the key word in Scandic and I could see it everywhere . They do a good breakfast as well with many vegan and gluten free options. All in all a good comfortable stay at a nominal price .

Everything here is clean, rooms are small but really clean and well organized. Everything we need we have in our room.For breakfast we have quite many options, nice breakfast.It is located quite central, near train station.Top Empfehlung!

We was 4 night there for a Fair at Berlin Messe. Its a comfortable Hotel. Good Restaurant and Breakfast Buffet. We had a Shuttle Bus to the Fair and a lunch packet. Only the rooms have a small Hair dryer.

Clean and nice rooms. Reach and hearty breakfast Will go the extra mile - during my stay there was a big convention in town. The hotel prepared a special stand with free lunch boxes. Very friendly staff. Central location. Highly recommended.

Great hotel with a fun Swedish theme. I especially liked the gym that had both a Finnish Sauna and a steam bath. The breakfast buffet was pretty stellar too, and the staff really nice.Clean rooms and a rainfall shower should be highlighted too.Would stay there again, especially for the price.

Room a bit small, but great location, gym floor with wet and dry sauna, and spacious, cosy breakfast area, with a play corner for kids. The gentleman working in the breakfast room was incredibly nice and helpful! Great hospitality.

Great location. Close to the public transportation. There ara lots of restaurants around and close to the hotel. The rooms are ok, just the basics but extremely clean. Staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is the best thing in the hotel. They think of everything even vegan or gluten free food. We stayed 5 nights with our 5 years old son. Nohing to complain about.

No fuss base for exploring Berlin. Really pleased with our choice of hotel. We basically just slept there but it was very clean, had comfy beds and a great shower. It was in a great part of town with a huge choice of cafes, restaurants and bars on the doorstep. Only minor gripe was no kettle for a morning cuppa but I guess that first pot at home will test all the better for it!

If you know the scandic hotels then this is of the same good standard. Breakfast is pretty comprehensive - continental style. Possibility to eat hotel breakfast and dinners outside in the better weather. Staff are friendly. Decent room size for family of 4. Slow, dimly lit Schindler lifts. Stairs could be a good option but cant exit on the ground floor unless its an emergency.

A nice hotel. It was easy for a family of five to stay overnight because we had two rooms with a connecting door. Staff was friendly. Location is good, quite quiet neighborhood, not too heavy traffic nearby.

Very good location. Easy access to airport and shopping. Zoo is within walking distance. As well as the sightseeing routes.U-bahn station also within stones throw.The room (family superiorwas spacious and nicely shaped. No traffic on the road, good place to sleep in peace.Breakfast was very good.And the Art on walls inside was a nice idea too.Good value for money I would say.

Great staff. Room was not cleaned when I entered. Staff apologized and had it done quickly. Meanwhile I waited in the cozy lobby with a free drink and even borrowed a phone charger from the nice guy at reception.Room are nice and well sized. Great bed and mattress.Used the quite large gym before enjoying a very fresh and nice breakfast.Will definitely stay here again.

Family room of 4. Clean modern fresh. Bunk bed for kids is of proper build. Hotel breakfast has many offerings hot/cold & good quality. Clean and hot sauna. Friendly staff. Informal branding with many pleasant details like breakfast and coffee to go. Parking is limited but options outside are plentyfull.

The location is great, and there’s a parking garage directly across the street for about 17€/day. It’s a fifteen minute walk to the Berlin Zoo, and about a 40-50 minute walk from the Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe, Brandenburg Gate, and the Berlin Wall Memorial. The receptionists speak English and are friendly. Very good breakfast in the hotel restaurant with a great variety of foods to choose from. If you have a small child, consider bringing your own portable crib or playpen for him/her to sleep— even though we requested one in our reservation, there wasn’t one available when we checked in. The rooms are relatively small, particularly the bathroom, but it’s not a big deal if you’re planning on exploring Berlin for the majority of your time anyway. The room was also generally clean, though the carpets seemed a bit dingy.

A super hotel. We traveled with a 2 year old for a 3 night visit. We would definitely come back.The staff on front, dining, and housekeeping are exceptionally helpful and friendly. The dining/ breakfast ares are child friendly. The breakfast choices are exceptional. A very quiet location but ultra convenient for Berlin Zoo, the underground, great shopping and restaurants, although the Skandic restaurant is superb. Thank you for a great stay.

I spent 4 nights at Scandic. Their lobby is cozy but they play music too loud in it. Our room was small but didn’t feel crowded, and surprisingly- we even had a small balcony. The fitness center is very nice but they don’t have a water station. The room itself was cleaned once daily by different cleaners who were all friendly but the room never felt ‘clean clean’, the carpet in our room needs to be shampooed it was gross I wouldn’t walk without shoes on it. The shower set up is retarded, the glass has a big gap at the bottom so the water went ALL over the bathroom floor. Every night was too cold (the heater wouldn’t work properly&& I HATED the trash cans they provided in the room and bathroom.This hotel isn’t bad and is decently priced for what it’s worth but if the management could make small changes to the rooms it could make the experience of their guests much better.

Very impressed with my stay here. 4 nights at a reasonable price. Hotel and room were spotless. Quiet, good nights sleep every night. Room was cleaned everyday made it nice to come back to after a long day out in Berlin. Very modern hotel with great facilities. 5 minute walk to wittenbergplatz ubahn and close to stores and shopping centers. Only thing I found a little awkward was how hot the room was even with windows wide open and AC on, however it was the middle of summer so will probably only be an issue around that time. Would recommend staying here nonetheless.

A decent place to stay. Clean and friendly. A little bit out of the way for walking to the tourist destinations but there is a tube stop very close by. The breakfast is great. Unfortunately there was little to none in the way of vegetarian options on the dinner menu which was slightly surprising given the lengths gone to provide for all during the breakfasts. 2 star rooms give hot drink facilities in the room so i dont understand wht you have to pay more for that convenience. The steam room/sauna was clean and quiet. All in all a decent base explore Berlin just

Booked a superior room but I dont see whats so superior. The room is nice but the minibar is supposed to be included in the price... Except once its gone its gone, they dont top it up. They also dont replace the tea, coffee, sugar etc. This is just basic stuff that even budget hotels do. The hotel seems to pride itself on its eco credentials, but when I turned up without a printed confirmation it was a problem so I had to email it to them while at the desk. The toiletries provided are OK, but in any 4 star hotel I would expect some body lotion and moisturiser. If they sorted these few issues out it would be a great hotel, the location is perfect and the rooms are clean and well designed.

Very nice hotel! I booked a Superior room which was spacy and offered a free, yes, free minibar! Never had that before, a pleasant surprise. Bathroom had a nice shower. A minus in our case were the beds, for us they were to soft. We both would have preferred a harder bed and lower pillows. But, being next to the metro makes this a good hotel for when you want to visit Berlin. 4 stars because the beds were to soft.

We stayed 4 nights at the hotel and it was a great experience. The breakfast was very satisfying and the room was clean and equipped well. The location of the hotel is very good for young couples like me and my girlfriend. So in conclusion it was very good experience.
