Scalini's Restaurant - Restaurant in Apia, Samoa
Absolutely delicious, the best garlic bread, tiger prawns & crème brûlée we’ve EVER had! Amanda was a lovely host and David, our waiter was perfect. Really great experience, really reasonable pricing, highly recommended. We’ll head back for lunch and a great coffee tomorrow.
We look forward to eating out at Scalinis every time we come back to Samoa!
Good food
Food was good. A little pricey for what you get, but quite good.
Love this place
Great food and great service!
Amazing service, even better food. Recommend to anyone visiting Apia.
Beautiful Rib eye meal, semi expensive but okay. Was a good meal
Best restaurant in Apia. Always go there when visiting.
Excellent, good food, great service and friendly staff.
Highly recommend. Went to dinner with a friend this evening and had an amazing meal. The fish of the day was snapper, and it was beautifully cooked as were the prawns, the beans and the mashed potatoes. Thanks for a great meal!
Went to Scalinis with my wife and 2 young daughters tonight, the staff were very friendly and accommodating. We ordered the Pizzette, rump lamb, Spaghetti Carbonara and Tiramisu which were all amazing and very tasty!! Have eaten at a few different restaurants around Samoa over the week and this place would have to be no.1 thus far.We will definately be coming back on our next trip back!!
The food gets us every time. So damn good!
Amazing food and such good pricing!
Wonderful meal and their little delicatessen is even more amazing.
Delicious food!
Top Cuisine by a Top Chef
Had a farewell dinner here for one of my ex-colleague and i have to say the dishes were very interesting and great! Very fresh dishes and has various tastes. The drink menu and setup as well is very professional and welcoming. I would suggest this for a date night! The sort-of-dim brightness of indoor lights just sets the atmosphere for a date. The services as well is really good; very easy to approach waiters and waitresses as well as owner. Cost would be a downside for well, the average but thinking about it, it does meet the quality you are seeking!
Great food and service.
Best food in Apia!
Great food, very good hospitality. Clean and neatly decorated restaurant. Would highly recommend, more up class than others around but very good pricing (smaller serves than some places, but really good food quality and taste, excellent presented as well). Lovely waitstaff and quick timing. Can confirm payment with card is available.
Good food, good service

Excellent food and service! I know where we visit next for a good meal when in Apia. :Try the lamb dish.. Highly recommended!
LOVE THIS PLACE! It was nice having a touch of home, the food is fantastic! The service is amazing and the owners were so accomodating. My partner proposed and they brought us champagne and congratulated us.
Great food and good hospitality. Quick service and portion sizes are reasonable. Their fish is cooked to high standards. Book in advance.
Best food experience in Apia and good value
Came in out of the pouring rain, Joe saw I was soaked and got me a dry top, which was really appreciated, the food was delicious and the service wonderful! My father and I felt it was fantastic. We look forward to going back again soon
This place is amazing! Recommended by a cousin. We went back again in our one week stay. Portions of all sizes to suit. Yum yum!
We were hungry and the food here was also really good. Delicately served, cooked perfectly with the meat just falling apart in your mouth. Simply wonderful.
Highly recommend. Very good service and food.
Great food
Great service and food. Lovely dinner out!
25May15 27Jul15 Scalinis Apia (Samoaon the Motootua hill-rise serves great food. Fish come from locals (fishing boats in photo), vegetables and garnishes are sourced from the owners gardens across the road and the restaurant strives to present dishes quickly, artfully and full of tastes. I had lunch here with Mr Inga Tuigamala, a former All Black, in May 2015. I was surprised at the first class taste, cooking and presentation of every dish. I had lunch here again in July 2015 as a member of the New Zealand Prime Ministers (the Rt Hon John Keytour party for the one day visit to watch the Manu Samoa-All Blacks game. The Prime Ministers party was more than 40 people and again, Scalini and its staff were very, very good. The restaurant owner after running Scalinis in Parnell, Aucjkland, New Zealand, for many years has retired to Apia.
Not worth it really
This restaurant really sucks. It has no food.
