Walked passed this restaurant so many times. Its a nice place with great grounds and a nice setting. So for my last night I took my Gambian lady there. It was a small treat for her. We both enjoyed the evening. The staff very friendly and the food was good. Hope to return there when things settle down.

Good food, but book

We made our reservation for the special barbecue Sunday and what a treat! The barbecued meat and fish was simple but delicious. But, wow, all the side-dishes! Really excellent! Staff was also excellent and very friendly. All in all, we recommend it without a doubt.

We heard a lot about this restaurant so decided to ho there. We were given a table and there were already a lot of people. The wine we order was good... got a small amuse which taste nice and some bread and butter on the house. We order our meal which was very good. Staff was polite but distant. You can really see who is a regular and who is a new person in the way you are served. Meat was tender and well prepared. Dessert was nice...I would have given them 4 stars but I ended up with 3 during to the fact they say they welcome Visa card but it was not working anymore... they should have said this when we entered... now I had to find a way to pay the restaurant... you feel very awkward.

Went for another meal here as usual the service and food was wonderful.

Starting from the entrance I received a warm welcome from one of the staff even though the restaurant was fully booked: luckily one was made available. Overall great service and delicious dishes I must say👌

Very good restaurant and tasty food

Another lovely meal at this great restaurant, a melt in the mouth steak for his lordship, whilst I had a vegetarian tagliatelle with mushrooms and a creamy garlic sauce that is really exceptional. Add to this the warm African night, a gentle breeze, a bottle of red and the loveliest, most attentive staff you could wish for and , well, just heavenly. If you ever make it to the Gambia dont miss this place, but be sure to book or you could be disappointed.

An extremely overrated restaurant that wouldn’t last in any European town with more than five restaurants. To give an example: the shrimp cocktail was room tempered poorly peeled shrimps with Rhode Island dressing, nothing more than that.

Supposedly "the" upmarket restaurant in Kololi! Chef cooked the steak as required but clearly doesnt know to let stand afterwards, plate was full of blood, sent back to re-plate. Vegetables were over cooked, disappointed on the whole. Food at Al Terrace was far better. The Tao next door was better food if a little more expensive than other restaurants in the area, and is sister restaurant to Scala!

Very well prepared and tasty barracuda. A very pleasant atmosphere. A place worth spending time at. The chef takes her time with customers ensuring they are well taken care of. A lovely place.

Very nice restaurant in SeneGambia. The best food, with a great Danish chef.
