Sboro's Restaurant & Chop House in Watertown

I rarely am compelled to write reviews but this place is a must visit. I ordered for to go, I ordered the small plate pettie tenderloin, I asked for my steak medium well probably should have went for just medium. But that’s not the important, I asked forA1 sauce which was a big mistake the sauce they included taste like heaven 🤭🤗 the service was excellent all around. I am down here for work twice a year and I’ve found my new restaurant here.

I think management has become complacent. The menu hasn’t changed in years. Had a reservation for 7:15 and wasn’t seated until 7:50. The steak with blue cheese and balsamic vinaigrette was cold and tough as were the potatoes. First bad experience here but it’s been trending downward for years. Need to refresh the menu and managers.

First time visit. Food was exceptional. Service very attentive. Three in our part had the broiled seafood combo which was one of the best we have had. Will definitely plan on going back on our next trip to this area.

Foods great, however its generally outside of most peoples budget. Its somewhere Id go for a REALLY special occasion.

I love the fly away sandwich. This is a great place for a birthday dinner. The food is amazing. My favorite restaurant in town.

A little out of my budget to eat here but my company paid for it. Good food but very few vegetarian options, which isnt surprising. Waiter was knowledgeable of the dishes and their contents. Seemed higher end but still had a good mix of clientele.

The place is fabulous!!! I have a seafood allergy and the kitchen staff went above and beyond to make sure I was okay. They even Changed cutting boards, utensils, gloves, aprons, ect. I would go back and recommend this place to anybody! THANK YOU FOR MAKING MY MEAL SAFE!

Great find! Menu was great! They even had two spcials on a thursday night. Been coming to watertown for years and didnt know about this place. Easy to find. Very nice and attentive staff. Entree was very flavorful. Seafood chowder was excellent!

Absolutely splendiferous. If you like a well catered meal, with polite staff, and complexity of flavors give them a try, Ive never been disappointed by the food here. Once in a while Ill take the wife out for a nice dinner and Sboros has so far gotten the most hits in this town. Theres not much in the way of fine dining in watertown but Sboros is a great spot, keep up the great work all!

Decided to try Sbarros on New years and was quite dissapointed, most of our group ordered what we thought to be the special, " prime rib and lobster $34" as it was written on the board. We even asked the waitress and confirmed that it was $34 for both items combined, she confirmed. The food was mediocre but the main issue came when we got the bill. Each person was charged 27$ for prime rib, AND $34 for lobster. Not $34 for both. So over $60 a person. After much discussion with the staff they gave us a small discount on ONE of the five meals. An absolute discrace of service and management. If you are not their regulars, they dont treat you well. This is not the first issue we have had at this restaurant and needless to say, we will not be returning.

I have not been to Sbarros for about 8 years. Suggested to a friend to have dinner there. It was an absolute treat. Service was outstanding, food was miraculous and everything was so wonderful. Its so nice to receive the greatness of everything as expected. Thank you for an enjoyable dinner as always. I will be visiting each time I come to Watertown.

We love Sboros. The food is wonderful, the employees are friendly and efficient and the ambiance is great. We had a family dinner tonight and everyone had a lovely time.

It was snowy and blustery outside, but warm, pleasant, great dinner and really good desserts.

My wife loved her dish, she had the chicken marsala and the sauce was absolutely delicious! I had the stacked steak salad. Was not very impressed. The steak and the mushrooms were cooked right. Only issue was it sat on a pile of iceberg lettuce. Tomatoes and onions werent chopped. As a starter we had the stuffed peppers which were super spicy yet delicious. Best part IMO was honestly the service. Our waitress was Ingrid was delightful and she checked on us constantly.

Service was great. I never wanted for anything, and the staff was friendly and efficient. The food however was just amazing! I had Art’s Ribeye and the sauce was fantastic!!!!

Local residents love Sboro family restaurants. Their Italian traditional recipes will satisfy even the picky foodie. Their service is outstanding. Your vaule for what you pay is worth every penny. I have been here on a number of times. I come here on special occasions.

Theyve revamped the menu. The selection was very good, the service was prompt and friendly. The prices had a good range. All for of us agreed we want to come back again. One of the great family restaurant traditions lives on.

Nice restaurant. Fast turn over. Steak was perfectly cooked. Jack Daniels sauce was un believable. Staff was very friendly and attentive

Relaxed atmosphere, great experience! Kim the bartender very knowledgeable and helpful. Kristin our server was the same, helping us with our inquiries. Stuffed Italian Cherry Peppers for app, spicy and tasty! Art s Ribeye is to die for, mine was cooked to perfect med rare . My dates Chicken Marsala was excellent! Decent pricing , high quality food! Highly recommend.

Good stuff. It really is the only place in watertown with good Italian food. Great place for date night . The Artichoke dip is Amazing!! Seriously. I will say the staff was very nice and presentable and the food was very good. The California Moscato they recommended was a great pairing. For food and wine you cant go wrong with them.

This place is excellent. The food is delicious, friendly staff and clean bathrooms.

Great steaks, cooked just as we ordered. However, for the price we expected a bit more on the plate.

The Alfredo was great! Broiled sea food had very little taste and the lobster Mac and cheese very dry and no flavor. Wait staff was excellent, food not so much.

New to area x 6 months. Have been to Sboros 4 times, EVERY TIME, the food is absolutely excellent! Waiters/waitresses are always wonderful, as well. Cant wait for my next visit! Thanks, Sboro owners and staff!!!

Stopped in to eat without a reservation and was seated within 15mins. Staff was friendly, menu knowledgeable, and very courteous. Food was Delicious. Stuffed peppers Amazing. Nicely Portioned and satisfying meals.

Just walked in with my family of 5 in casual dress as the weather is hot..the place is 3/4 empty and they told us it would be a 20 min wait ..im assuming my beard or the way we were dressed said we couldnt afford the meal .. thank you for your judgemental service I will never come back and I will tell my army brothers the same

Food was excellent, good wine and nice atmosphere

The waiting staff was attentive enough, without being annoying, although they seemed to have very little actual knowledge of the dishes, and they struggled to recite a memorized script when describing the "specials". The food, however, was not good at all. The " brochette " reminded me more of a microwavable french bread pizza. The veggitables were some how cooked into a pulp, while other parts in the same dish remained nearly raw. The roasted potatoes were soaked in oil and heated just above room temperature until soggy. The meat, oh man, the meat... I had the veil chop, and my date had the fillet mignon. Both were, lets just say, less than expertly cooked. The veil was burnt to charcoal on the outside, and left raw and cold on the inside. The fillet mignon was very dry and tough, and I dare say probably wouldnt sell well even in a "Jack Links" package. Over all a great atmosphere, but I fear they are trying to cook dishes a little too far beyond their skill level. Anyways I payed nearly 100 dollars for 2 people, and neither of us could even muster the courage to say it was "OK". Despite our best efforts to like the place.

This is an excellent restaurant with moderate prices and very good food. The décor is tasteful and the acoustics are amenable to good conversation. I had the Stacked Salad -- a bed of mixed greens, a small steak done to perfection, 2 super-fresh jumbo shrimp, blue cheese and balsamic vinaigrette -- all top quality, healthy food with no unnecessary carbs. Superb! I definitely will return.

Good food at a decent price. Great wine list and bar.
