Museum in a former post office exploring local history through artifacts & interactive exhibits.
Great museum.
Great place to bring our local history to life!
This was a FRINGE North experience over the 3 days of 2022s event. Loved it & look forward to future events.
Such a vast collection of memorabilia and information. Definitely worth the stop.
Nice enough. Not really a lot to see. They seem to take care of the place. Nothing super impressive but its nice to know some history about places you are visiting. Staff was nice
Spent a wonderful afternoon among the exhibits today, and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The staff were so welcoming and informative - they work so diligently to keep our local history fresh and accessible. Thank you for the search and research challenges, and the lively conversation, it was much appreciated!
Very interesting and educational.
Very nice staff, they are under renovations so we got in for really cheap. While the museum may have minimal items its still informative and theres a kids play space
Interesting museum to learn about The Soo!
Visited right before things shut down. Lots of stuff to see and read about. Could easily spend a whole day if you enjoy learning history
Attended the museum for a special music night, it had a lot of interesting exhibits and lovely performers. My favourite part was the gift shop, it had free art kits and neat vintage buttons. I wish there was more signage to help direct the flow of people. Overall I enjoyed my visit at the museum!
Throughly enjoyed myself
Good place to connect to indigenous and local history.
Interesting museum that tells you the history of Sault Ste. Marie
This museum has interesting artifacts, but fails short in telling the story of the place and history
Nice displays, lots of info
There was no veterans discount for general admission and the prices seemed high in contrast to other northern Ontario museums.
Really interesting exhibits
Winter High Tea was lovely and wandering around the museum afterwards...
Enjoyed tea and scones today. Toured the museum. Wonderful.
Local history, special on 70ties.
Good interesting exhibits
Loved it here,

Very well curated.
Theyve put a lot of work into it and it shows the history of the city pretty well!

Very interesting and worth a visit if you are in Sault Ste. Marie, Canada.
First time going through the museum. Lots of great old photos and history of the town and area
I need take the time to view this place properly
A good sized "small town" museum. It offers insights to the history of the area.
Unbekannte Fakten ( für uns Germans)aus der kanadischen Provinz, durchaus liebevoll und informativ dargeboten
Loved it!!
Great place to visit
Nice old building. I learned a lot!
The building was used to be a post office and it is already worth viewing. I found the exhibits are not very well organized but staff is friendly and the exhibits telling story about Sault Ste. Maire.
Great local community museum in a fantastic building!
Great place to visit
The museum was very informative and the second floor space was a particular favorite with immersive displays. Well worth a visit.
Decent local museum. Worth a couple of hours.
I mean you might go on a field trip here but theres not much of interest. They have a volunteer day camp program but thats basically just free day care.
6 Dollars to get in, which is steep to walk through a building and look at old stuff. There is rich history, but its just as interesting to visit some of the old landmarks.
