Saravanaa Bhavan, Karama in Sharjah
Description
Privilege
One of the most unhygienic restaurant in this area.. Not cleaned plates, hair and unwanted stuff on the food. Ambience is not good at all.Not recommended even to try something. If your immunity is low or get frequent food poisoning.. Dont visit this place at all.
MoreNothing has Changed in 10 years. Same taste of food as always. But has become lot costlier
MoreFood is fine typically southern. Service is also quick but little expensive.
Welcoming staffs and amazing serving! Overall good but didnt like the Sambar taste..Rest everything was superb! Amazing Fiter coffe to go with🤌👌
MoreOverall experience is very expensive comparing to other restaurant, and they took so delay is serving as we already told them to take a lime juice first for mom…. But they bring it after getting others the breakfast… and it’s so delay in getting what we orderedWe ask to serve the chai and all with the food but bought it when we are almost in the finishing ….But the bill was so fast and it’s like so costly yaar….But the interior was goodThere are so many people to serve still delay is not appreciableAnd try to serve everything at a time for Everyone would be fine nahSooo ….
MoreFood was good. Dosa was really delicious and thali is best for lunch and dinner.
Tasty food, freshly prepared and friendly staff. Value for money.
Food- Tasty and fresh food with good service. Make sure to savor their filter coffee kapi, its top notch!Ambience- seating areas are a bit cramped (ground floorbut accessible. However, They need to improve their decor and definitely upgrade the uncomfortable dining chairs.
MoreOne of the best Indian Tamil Nadu restaurant.Best customer service and good hygiene restaurant
MoreIt is the last word for the best vegetarian food in Dubai. The staffs are amazing and they serve food with the best quality and taste.
MoreServes the best filter coffee in town! Amazing fir breakfast and lunch... Best for South Indian breakfast and lunch.. dinner options are jus okay!
MoreBest place to have a South Indian breakfast. They have a very quick service when it comes to ordering Dosas, which is one of their speciality. Never forget to order chai with your breakfast, served in a traditional manner (modernized version of it), also their chai tastes YUM!!
MoreTypical South Indian joint in the heart of Karama. Get the masala idli and filter coffee.
MoreHave always been a dosa lover. The onion masala dosa and the variety of chutneys are the best that I have tasted for a while. Sambar could have been a bit better.
MoreSets the standard for south indian breakfast food. Nothing beats going and eating it there. However, you wont be doing much after your done when the food coma sets in.The falooda is not your traditional one but it is delicious. Dosas are always made to order which I couldnt say for the vadas, but I will let it slide as it was lunch time though.Service was ok and they could have been more attentive but it wouldnt stop me from coming back for more.
MoreTaste wasnt that good.. they have variety of options in both south and north indian food. You can get best coffee here. If you are looking for pure veg Indian restaurant this is the best place.
MoreLots of different varieties vegetables, consistently good taste
Delicious food... Great customer service.. Its our breakfast destination on every Sundays.. Our kid loves the mini idli and kesari. She tasted ghee for the first time from Saravana Bhavan..
MoreLove the food but unfortunately never get a chance to eat apam as whenever we order its not available. Little disappointed but will try my luck again ☺️
MoreNot happy with food taste.Chapati is not feel a full wheat one.Served beetroot veg one the meal item as starter. Horrible.Masala rice, too spicy.Staffs not bothered much.Put the plate in frint of u and u ask anything rhey say that is what it is...Nothing tatsted great.... side disb too was of no yse.
MoreHotel Saravana Bhavan is the largest South Indian restaurant chain in the world, founded in 1981 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. They operate 33 locations in India and 78 across 22 countries in Southeast Asia, Australia, New Zealand, the Middle East, Europe, and North America.
MoreOne of the best Saravana Bhavan Hotels where personal attention is given the top priority. Though I have visited Saravana Bhavan across many countries and branches, this one stands very close to my heart as there is more personal touch and customer care which makes it the best spot for family and friends.
MoreA good evening snack place for veggies, who like South Indian food.Inside a burdubai mall (central mall)its at the entrance so very conveniently located next toSharaf DG metro station. One of the best places for South Indian food in Dubai...Amazing menu with lots of options for both vegetarians who look for these types of foods.ordered a masala dosa with my instructions & was made to fit my taste.3 types of chutney, sambhar and crispy brown dosa, which is good &suited my taste.Later ordered the special filter coffee which was really good as well, hardly any other place gives such good coffee. On the whole it was a good experience, worth visiting again.Menu is vastly different and more importantly tastes for different nationalities, besides Indian. Its a well known fact that other nationalities love veggie South Indian food. Its Medium price wise but expect more options for your taste buds.As they all say you pay for what you get,but this restaurant give one more for what they charge very neat and clean too which is a Must for people eating out nowadays so more importantly needed.Recommended for anytime of the day..
MoreNo restaurant manager to watch the staffs behavior towards the customers.Racist staff. The restaurant will get orders for south Indian customers at first and will ignore the north Indians or others. Before you have the last bite. The bill will be on the table as if they want you to vacate the table asap.Pricing too high and not worth the quality.Next will be to put the complaint in Dubai Government for their extremely high pricing.
MoreYummy food, we ordered idly and cheese masala Dosa the idly was soft and tasty chutney, must visit
MoreA famous food chain Restaurant for vegetarian dishes in the city, like other branches around the world they maintain the quality and hygiene of the food. One of the best place for vegetarian people to get their stomach full with vegetarian food. Prices are bit expensive.Do visit 👍🏻
MoreThe food is fine, but there is scope for improvement in the service, particularly the order taking. Have to really strain to get the attention of the service staff. With so many similar restaurants in the area, it is very important to maintain high service standards to avoid losing customers.
MoreAuthentic Indian Veg food. Nothing more to say, reasonably priced and complete value for money.
MoreBest authentic food in one place. You in Dubai and you want to eat authentic and tasty food you definitely go in Saravana Bhavan you love it .I am go for lunch and it’s very tasty and pocket friendly also.
MoreSaravana bhavan chain of restaurants has never been disappointing when it comes to their Dosas and chutneys......be it Dubai or India.
MoreSuperb!! This is the best Vegetarian Indian restaurant in Dubai!! Everything were beyond our expectations. Highly recommend!!The staff Mr. Sethepathi was great 👍 very accommodating and professional. I guess maybe hes the manager or something. The food were super delicious especially fried mushrooms were the best!! You must try!!Vegetable butter masala was yummy!! We love that curry most. Paneer and spinach curry was also nice. All food was rich taste but not heavy. We asked make it spicy but less oil. They are very flexible. Our last dish was hot chai tea and Indian hot coffee😉Both were so sweet but delicious. Its good experience of Indian style. When we leave the restaurant, there almost occupied by customers. Were super full and satisfied then the bill was only around 150AED. Amazing!! Well definitely back again soon😋
MoreVisited here for a breakfast and the food is good. Maintains clean and ambience is fine. Dont miss the filter coffee.Enough tables ground floor and upstairs.
MoreAuthentic South Indian food..To start with we ordered medu vada, idli sambhar dip, later added masala dosa, pongal, rava masala dosa, onion uttapa, idli chutney and filter coffee with tea..The food is too good in quantity as well as quality..If you are planning to go on weekends be prepared to wait as the queue is too long any time of the day being highly in demand..The service is really quick..Pocket friendly, delicious food will make your day!! If you are looking for authentic restaurant this is the perfect place..They have kids menu too..Adding too many pieces of black pepper will not be liked by all, so if they can have that as optional it will be great..
MoreClean, neat and nice place to have delicious vegetarian Indian food. The staff were nice and friendly. The food was delicious and it didn’t take them long time to prepare our food.It was nice experience and I would love to go back again soon. They deliver to your doorstep as well.
MoreNo matter where you go in the world the food taste the same at their locations. This is probably our 7th country where we had Saravana Bhavan and its superb! Highly recommended for vegetarian South Indian good options. Super quick service and super delicious preparations. Must try their dosas and mini meals.
MoreOne of the best Indian Tamil Nadu restaurant, to know about tasty, of different type of break fast, meals.
MoreThe restaurant was clean, opened early. There is ample seating, both upstairs and downstairs. There is a wide variety of food to choose from. The service is good (minimal waiting timeand the food is delicious. We had the cheese dosa, idly and a plain vada - highly recommend the cheese dosa. There is an area for washing hands, this was essential for us. Overall an excellent Indian restaurant. Will definitely visit again.
MoreAmazing vegetarian restaurant located deep in the heart of Karama. The restaurant has plenty of paid RTA parking located outside and theres easy access from there to the restaurantTheres a variety of food on offer from South to North Indian and everything in between. The brand itself is very famous boasting locations in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Europe, India, Asia, Australia and the US.We had the North Indian thali with chapati which came with gulab jamun, paneer, Chana masala, dhal, potato curry, yoghurt, rice and a spicy lentil sound, all for just 23aed. The thali is served on a banana leaf for that authentic Indian experiance. The food wasnt too spicy, catering for a wide range of palettes and was a big enough portion for 1 person. We were so full we didnt even have room for their amazing filter coffee (which Ive had before). That should notmally never be missed! This place is highly recommended and I cant wait to go back again!
MoreGood satisfactory south Indian food, all dishes are reasonable. Must try Mini tiffin.
MoreWe visited Saravana Bhavan thats located in Karama for Friday Brunch. It is one of the best for South Indian Delicacies and we actually relish on it.We ordered:Masala Dosa - Dosa was so crisp and tasty. The masala was exactly how we wanted. Sambhar was also mild and tasty. The best part is the chutneys they serve. They serve 3 kinds of chutneys. Orange one is my favourite.Idli & vada combo - idlis are very soft. Not to miss are their Vadas . Crispy, yummy and delicious. You just feel like eating more and more.Uttapam - kids favourite. They love the Uttapam that Saravana Bhawan serves. Again they serve this with 3 chutneys and sambhar. We also ordered Upma but forgot to take a picture of it.And at last not to miss is the coffee they serve at the restaurant. Its the best to end your meal with.
MoreSaravanan bhavan is an indian veg restaurant at karama located adjacent to the park. Upstair sitting is available for families which is maintained in an upscale environment. Prices are reasonable with a masala dosa cost 12AED and Ghee roast at 15AED to give an indication. Staff is attentive. Good for families and bachelors as well.
MoreSame good old Sarvanaa Bhavan, great ambiance, same great taste and same loving hospitality as in India. Loved visiting this place, they took all precautions if social distancing and followed government norms regarding how you are being served, seating, etc., I would definitely visit this place again and will suggest my friends to go here too.
MoreGreat south indian food, with abundant north indian options as well. Prices are affordable, yet the ambience gives a premium vibe. Parking is a headache on weekends (especially Friday), but its in close proximity to the karama central bus station (5-10 minute walkwith connected pedestrian walkways/cycle paths.
MoreOne of the best Friday breakfast haunts. Hot idlis and vadas and great filter coffee...Pretty much always full but fast service.
MoreAmong most of indian will reputed resturant I have tried in Dubai, this one comes first. The best vegetarian Indian food ever.If you want to have the best experience; I suggest you to try Vegetable Thali with poori indian flat bread. It is the most tasteful vegetables dishes I have ever tried.Be carful if you are not a spicy food fan.I will for sure come here again.
MoreBeen here a couple of times, quickly and tasty south Indian meals, breakfast dishes are the most post popular followed by its thali for lunch. I do think MTR is better in quality and taste but this place is not bad either
MoreUndoubtedly lost its touch. I was very fond of this place for the authentic South Indian food. I was in for a shock when I visited last week in the evening. I ordered veg Manchurian for a family of 2 adults & 2 small children. I never seen such a small portion in Dubai in my life. The portion was just 4 spoons full. The chapatis not cooked well. The service has snoozed down completely. The place has a face-lift done but the prices and the product supplied doesnt match. I can get a decent service & good food for the same price else where in Karama. They are so many good restaurants coming up in Karama which provides real value and taste for money.
MoreAbsolutely delicious food... Stick to their cuisine instead of trying anything else because they do that the best. Loved the medu vada and mysore sada dosa. The quantity was perfect, the chutneys were the best combination and you could feel the freshness and quality of the food. The seating area upstairs is spacious and very well made. Must try !
MoreAmazing south Indian food...ofcourse no doubt abt saravana bhavan quality and taste they are the bestest. My personal fav here is piping hot idlies with multiple chutneys and best filter coffee in town...must try!!Feel of chennai in dubai
MoreBest south indian restaurant with breakfast options, main course, juices, bHot and cold beverages, sweets. Interiors have rennovated, more warmth to interior. Service is fine. Western tourists also come to taste indian. Tea and coffee is good.
