Destination for a vast selection of ice cream flavors plus banana splits, shakes & fruit smoothies.
Delicious! The young ladies were super friendly!
the ice cream here is so delicious and taste so fresh, the place doesnt look so well but the inside is pretty cool, i would also recommend the cotton candy ice cream!
Everything I wanted they had and how I wanted it was no problem 😍 awesome customer service…ice cream is delicious 🤤
Lovely place! Appears to be family-owned, which is nice. Everyone was very friendly and genuine. My 4 yr old and I really enjoyed our ice cream, especially the key lime flavor, which the young lady said was a seasonal flavor. So yummy and so glad I got it!
The staff is extremely friendly! The prices are reasonable. They dont have 40 flavors and the ic cream is just Hersheys so nothing special or homemade. I ordered a milkshake which was ok but not blended enough. I would definitely give them another try.
Friendly staff, but the ice cream 🍦 itself was old?, tasted nasty and I literally threw it out in the garbage after one scoop.I’ll stick with the other ice cream shop in the square as my go to spot.
So good. I make sure to stop often.
Small sizes & a little over priced. :/
We all got malts of all different flavors, and they were excellent! Its always nice to get ones that are actually malty. The banana pudding one worked surprisingly well and was super banana-y, the chocolate was obviously delicious, and the bourbon butter was very rich but very good.
Very unprofessional for them to post their closing time and they actually close earlier.
Visited for the first time yesterday and this was a great place! Staff was nice and welcoming and the store smelled clean and sanitized. Will definitely go again.
My favorite flavor is blue moon !
Delicious ice cream. The llama-licious and Superman were super great!
Love your ice cream. I have it twice a week. Butter Pecan is my favoriteDave Pack
DO NOT support this business under ANY circumstances. The ice cream is old, and not fresh and has the potential to make you sick and they are aware of this. They don’t hesitate to sell ice cream that has freezer burn. As others have said if they make a mistake they don’t offer to remake or refund. They are shady and dishonest. The young brunette girl that works there and refuses to tell you her name after being EXTREMELY rude has got to be related or family because no employer I’d imagine would allow her to behave and mistreat customers the way she does otherwise. Later she claimed her name was supposedly Sylvia.... who knows. That girl is MEAN as a snake and has a lot of pent up hatred and bitterness. For such a young person she’s very mean and evil and even intimidating not to mention she talks down to her elders as customers and is a bit frightening to be frank. I can’t say enough that this girl is NASTY to the core and to the point that it’s scary and in. Stay away!!!! Bad place. Needs to shut down. Don’t care about people or customers and the owner supports this attitude and behavior. That’s fact.
Asked for chocolate malt with extra malt gave me a chocolate shake no malt. And when I asked where is the malt the kid just apologized for no malt and that was it didnt offer to fix it or anything. The older guy manager or whoever he was standing right there should have made it right immediately but nothing. I dont get it, and my business Im all about going the extra mile to make a customer happy because thats why were in business to begin with its about the customer end of story. Definitely wont be back and for the portion size of the ice cream cones smaller than any other place Ive seen.
First time here. Good ice cream. Friendly staff. I read the negative reviews about being denied service due to not wearing a mask. I hope Sarah Jeans is still sticking to their guns on this. I feel even more safe returning here! People need to realize you dont have any rights when you walk into an establishment. Their house, their rules...
Ice cream isnt fresh but the guys working there were nice.
We ducked into Sarah Jeans for a quick treat and a bit of AC! Their staff was so welcoming and lovely to our newly wedded couple, I cant say enough nice things and a BIG "thank you" to the staff & owners.
Denied service bc we would’ve wear a mask. No masks available to give. IMAGINE the same denial of service based on color of a your skin or disability. **medically can’t wear a mask, which I told the cashier, yet still denied service **
Rude young man said they were out of sugar cones, only had waffle cones. I ordered one scoop and it was $3.82. I asked him if he charged me extra for the waffle cone. He said yea, I dont own the place! Almost $4.00 for a scoop of ice cream and an attitude! You know what you can do with your ice cream!!!Apology from the owner seems insincere and generic. Will not be back!!!
Very rude the young lady that worked there made my 7 year olds cry and would not serve them ice cream because they didn’t have mask on. We decided to walk this day due to the beautiful weather and forgot the mask at home, they didn’t even offer us a mask or to serve out the door. I understand your beliefs with covid but perhaps treating people with a bit more dignity than like animals because they forgot their mask one day. We waited for over fifteen minutes in the line with two couples in front of us she saw us the whole time and waited for us to get finished with our order and said something and was pretty much like oh well and made us leave. I just said ok, no argument but, I will be sure not to go back just for the fact of how we were treated, I would rather go to the one across the street
I cant have dairy so take my review with some salt. I liked the variety of vegan gelato and italian ice options. However the actual flavors available I wasnt the biggest fan of. I ended up with coffee gelato, and the flavor just didnt vibe with me.I do plan on going back and seeing if theres something else I might like though.
The ice cream here was amazing! Ill drive back here soon to get their black cherry Ive cream... Very yummy
Awesome little ice cream place in Marietta Square. Had the dairy free gelato and I couldn’t believe it was dairy free! The lemon cookie flavor is a must!! Also bought some of their BOGO pints to take home at a great deal.
On the Square in Marietta. Quaint little shop and a nice place to grab some ice cream. Selection varies by season, with standard staples. You can get a cone or cup
Delicious ice cream and a quick service! Great place to take kids or go on a date even if its with yourself! :D
Came in today and was waiting on a friend to get there, the boy that was at the register was really nice and patient with us while we waited, which was about 20 minutes unfortunately. He did let us use the bathroom and sit while we waited, after our friend got there we ordered out ice cream and talked for a bit. The girls working took all the chairs, knowing that we’d be staying for a moment and blocked off the restroom. This would’ve been fine, except the girls were very rude to us about sitting or using the bathroom again when we asked. Only giving 3 stars because the guy was really nice and he tried to help us, and the ice cream was decent for its price. Unlikely i will return though.
My husband and I walked into this business a couple minutes ago. Not only were we not greeted when we walked in but we stood at the counter to place an order and the two employees, a couple feet away, refused to acknowledge us. We left after a couple minutes. If youre busy you should communicate that to customers. Customer service 101. You have lost a potential customer and I will share with everyone I know to avoid this place when visiting Marietta Square.
I go there for the delicious ice cream and gelatos. I particularly love the Bourbon Ice Cream! And people are courteous and prompt in giving you what you ask for, even if your request is a bit strange! The added bonus is that the store is located just across the street from the downtown Marietta Square where they holds events and concerts and outdoor plays. Its also very near the historic Strand Theater where musical tributes and broadway-style shows are produced and presented. So if youre attending an event at the Square and youre in the mood for a delicious treat, then Sarah Jeans is the place to go!
Amazing ice cream and many different types of flavors. The staff were very nice to me and I would definitely choose to go here again.
Great treats and service. I went to the spot across the square yesterday but didnt like it. THIS IS THE SPOT! I had the gelato made with cashew milk and coconut milk. WONDERFUL!!
Fast and friendly service. Pecan Praline, with Cream was Amazing!
Spent 10 dollars on two ice cream cups with just one scoop in them each! Way over priced for the quality and amount your getting! Customer service was not the worst they just acted liked they wanted to go home! Not the friendliest staff!
I love Sarah Jeans. A classic ice cream shop in beautiful downtown Marietta. The ice cream is delicious and they have a ton of flavors. Great place to bring the family and satisfy your sweet tooth.
The positive reviews are mind boggling. The ice cream tasted worse than that you find at Baskin Robbins. The lemon custard ice cream tasted of artificial lemon flavoring mixed with cough syrup. The raspberry was hardly better. The coffee I cream was edible. Ice cream aficionados look elsewhere. If you are traveling to the north try Handel’s - world class.
Ice cream was great, price is great, friendly employees 👌🏼👌🏼
Wham! Bam! Thank ya Mam! If your in the area and are in need of the best ice cream east of the Mississippi. Then its time to land your plane at Sarah Jeans. We you walk in, get ready to be hit by the biggest smiles in the area and the biggest selection of ice cream to boot. But this is where Miss Sarah Jeans outshines the rest. When youve got staff like Andy and Elizabeth that not only know every flavor but know the town like the back of their hand. Thats service, just ask them whats good.. And rest assured they got ya covered.
Delicious ice cream! Looking forward to returning to try the Apple Pie flavor! The train is a fun touch.
Delicious flavors and a charming atmosphere. My son loves the train that sometimes circles overhead and the train mural as well. The ice cream is amazing and I heard the gelato is very good too.
So glad we tried this place! The employees are super friendly & helpful (even giving involved directions to help a lady find a good cake nearby). The ice cream is delicious! Even the sugar-free flavor I tried (chocolate caramel pecantastes great! And the overhead train is so cute. :)Its a definite must-stop on a hot day!
Fun atmosphere. Got a bubble waffle cone with two scoops of ice cream. Was the best of both worlds hot waffle and cold ice cream. Wife and I will definitely be back.
Best ice cream shop in Marietta!Excellent customer service, large menu selection (ice cream, banana splits, shakes, bakery goods, & COFFEE!), & cute vintage aesthetic. They’ll customize your order to your liking (ie. ice cream scoop in your coffee, different fruit in your split). If you ever have an issue with your order, just tell them & they’ll remake it!But don’t be that customer that buys their kid a flavor, kid doesn’t like it, & you let them eat half of it then ask for a free new one... they have samples.
This place has Catering events ,artistic deserts according to order. They have yogurts, Italian Ices , floats coming soonDairy free flavors. Coffee Expresso!!!
Overall great ice cream! On the other hand customer service was horrible. The employees had attitudes and they were speaking to guest in a rude manner.
The ICE CREAM is very good but dont waste your money on the toppings. The nuts (tasted staleand sprinkles (generic rainbow store boughton my banana split all but ruined it. Very fun store though with dozens of flavors that all sound good. They also have homemade ice cream and cookie sandwiches in the freezer that look amazing. Will be back to get one soon!
The second place we always visit at the Square, especially on the hotter days. Staff are always very friendly and they have everything from Banana Splits, to Sundaes to of course 20 different flavors of Ice Cream.
I love this little place! My family and I visit this ice cream parlor regularly, and recently I took my mother, aunt, and 3-year-old cousin here to enjoy some ice cream on a hot day. We had a great time; my little cousin especially enjoyed the constantly running train circling above our heads! Such a sweet, old-timely atmosphere!
Frequently the staff cant be bothered to serve what is on their advertising or wall board. They leave the tubs of product back in their freezer and if it isnt convenient for them ... they will not serve it. Their pricing is also inconsistent, charging "large" prices for the small, or if the ice cream is frozen hard they will throw a half scoop in a cup.
I have looked for bubble gum ice cream like they have for years. So happy I found it! We have 3 kids so, I am happy to find a place all 5 of us like something. They offer so many different flavors. Very nice younger staff.
