Sapiegos Park - Park and Garden in Naujamiestis, Lithuania
Sapiegos Park in Naujamiestis
Description
Privilege
Beautiful park, close to city centre. Very peaceful.
Lovely park
Great place with lots of authenticity

Nice place to spend time, to walk. High quality coffee in the cafe at the central entrance (from Antakalnio str.).

Relaxing and fun historic park.
The park has a little coffee shop and the outside summer library. The library contains books about Vilnius with nice pictures suitable for all visitors speaking any language. There also are some colorful books for children. :)
MoreOne of my favourite places in Vilnius for everything: working outside, walking, meeting friends, having a coffee or another beverage and just relaxing. It offers it all: cools places to hang out, have a great cup coffee and desserts (including soft ice cream), eat some food, do sports, jog, enjoy and discover nature, etc. Sapiega palace park is one of the oldest Vilnius city parks, which was established in XVIIth century by Grand Hetman of Lithuania - Kazimieras Jonas Sapiega. It lies next to his (now abandonedbaroque style palace and a former Trinitarian monastery, which he helped establish. This entire complex (over 8haoccupies a big chunk of Antakanis neighbourhood. The park is of an intricate baroque style geometrical plan; it boasts in having both many local and foreign (but not exoticspecies of trees. Not too far away from the main entrance to the park, the oldest linden tree (over 300-350 years oldis still proudly growing in the park. The original park walls remain to this day. In 2016, Tech Park Vilnius opened its doors in the former hospital complex. It opens its spaces for the local community and event organizers alike, so the park is now always buzzing with either families, as there are good playgrounds, seniors strolling or a trendy crowd going to/from work/events!
MoreA quiet and relaxing place to chill and have a picnic.
There is perfect combination of old and new. Despite the place looks a bit tired at first visit, later you start to like its calmness. The tech park inside attracts some trendy businesses and crowds there too
MorePerfect place to visita with my child
This is a very old park. There are oldest trees in Vilnius. For example the oldest linden tree. We enjoyed quality coffee in Taste Map coffee place. Sometimes they have gluten-free cakes.
MoreCool!
Small and cozy park.
I didnt find anything special here.
Cosy, but a little neglected.
This is very old park which was established inside Manor. There are some facilities like restaurants inside the territory and also moderate size children playground. Territory is almost plain, so I dont like it too much, but maybe its just me.
MoreSmall and cosy, grab a coffee at Taste Map, or a tea in Food Lab
Quite small but still nice.
Pasakiškai gtažus ruduo. Galite pasiinti kavos kavinukėje. Su vaikais nuostabu. Kas nežinojot yra skulbtūra černobylio aukoms paminėti
MoreGood place
Good place in the city: walk, relax, books, ride, trees, kids playgrounds, cafe, wc
MoreLovely park, especially in the summer!
Just nice silent park for rest
great place. Community events. Kids friendly
Great place to walk & work.
Great place with symbioosis of modern startups and old palace, green park and nice places to eat drink and chill
MoreSuper
Many parents from Antakalnis district and around could say they raised their children in this park 🙂 full of big old trees and birds in them. Many shades during hot summer. Good place for a short walk.
MoreSilent and greenish place
Lovely place for a walk.
nice place with greenery, quite cosy
Not a bad park. Plenty of space to do some easy jogging, or just come for a walk. They have a playground for kids there. There is also in summer months a grill terrace Barkodas in the park area, which gives this park even more vibe.
MoreBeautiful park with old trees, peace and serenity.
Beautiful. Nice and quiet park for a walk. Also has a very nice cafe Taste Map.
Super
Super...
Very good park, great for walks
Park and Palace with great history, but not well preserved. The park itself is a nice green spot
MoreGreat for photoshoots or chill.
Great small small park near Sapiegu palace.
As far as Lithuanian parks go this is pretty fine, it has lots of open spaces for relaxation, a swing set and some benches thrown around. My only qualm with it is the fact that cars can drive around the park.
