This sanctuary was so beautiful. As always Mexico has such magnificent churches throughout and this one did not dissappoint. It is said that you have to enter dancing so as to give thanks. And dancing we did.

Ive been there when the road was pure mud when it rained, it was well worth it to go "pay La Manda" with may relatives and now we still go when we have a chance. Whe hungry we really enjoy their different types of food like: mole, varnitas, Churipo foooorrr example. Afye eating we go buy cajeta, cocadas....para despues terminar en el Parque Nacional De Uruapan Michoaca. Vallan, visotwn la rodilla del diablo..etc, etc.

Great place to get to know some michoacan traditions.Get into the temple by your knees, or dancing its a must. And after the visit you can cross the street and get some delicious treats.

An small village full of traditions every weeked and Hollidays. The locals sales very good traditional foods, and many tipes of souvenirs. One place that has to be visit is the main attraction "El Señor de los Milagros" a temple situated in downtown San Juan Nuevo. And besides the town is around of forest, usually it is cold at night and mornings. Try to visit San Juan Nuevo and its surroundings, for sure the visitors will love to came back more often.
