Small, tranquil riverfront park, home to Phra Sumen Fort, offering vistas of Rama VIII Bridge.
Really nice park along the river, nice place and well protected good for exercises and relaxation
A small park surrounding a historic fort in the old town.- Take a walk/jogging- Aerobic dance with dance lead- Nice bridge view- Surrounded by street food and restaurants- 10 minutes walk through Rambutri to Khao San- Next to Phra Artit Pier where you can ferry to another side of Bangkok, Thonburi.
Very clean for a park area with great shaded areas
Such a beautiful place. I took a boat ride along river from here.
Nice park with a good river view.
Small, but pretty good park with wonderful views like Chao Phraya River, Phra Sumen Fort, Rama VIII Bridge, and so on…
Clean beautiful park on the river by the Old Dutch Fort.Floodlite at night.
Pretty place to see the river and relax
18.09.2022 music band StumblingIn the park. So beautiful getting together with modest dancing together.
One of the best historical sites in Bangkok. The Santichaiprakarn Park houses the Santichaiprakarn Throne Hall and Phra Sumen Fort, built during the reign of King Phutthayotfa Chulalok (Rama Isince early Rattanakosin era, and the districts last mangrove apples, after which the area Bang Lamphu is named (mangrove apple called in Thai lamphu).
One of the most beautiful spot of view of Chao Phraya River.
A nice bit of greenery in a busy city. Small but nice for a wonder and to sit watching boats on the water and to see the bridge
Beautiful lake side park, sunset was so perfect here with the blowing breeze and large trees
👍
A small park with a beautiful pavilion and view of the bridge. The old Fort also adds to the charm of this corner park. Mostly residents of nearby apartment blocks and some transients lounging on the benches and under the trees. Temperature check.. in an open air venue? None the less.. got my photos, walked through and moved on.
Its a small public park next to the Phra Sumen Fort, which looks quite nice. You can sit in front to the river and relax and make pics of the Rama VIII Bridge, wich is illuminated in night.
Nice public park on the river. It was pretty clean
A really nice park. It feels safe to be here. I can see many families with children playing here and enjoying the scenery. The river view with the bridge is also really nice.
Nice public park nearby the river. Better to travel by bus or boat. Lots of restaurant in the area within walking distance.
A nice park for a quick walk and spend some time. The bridge view is nice too.
Small but nice park between the fort and the river
The Best Place in Bangkok old town and closed to the Chaopraya river and many nice restaurant around there!
So Beautiful and Peaceful Place. Must Visit if you are travelling Bangkok and specially staying in Khaosan Road. In Evening time this place looks very beautiful people are coming here for walking , dancing and enjoying nature. Here is also one small Fort with beautiful and colourful Garden. Facing River Bank so enjoy the moments.. No any kind of entry fees. For more Information you can visit my YouTube channel - Hardikkumar-HRK.
Beautiful scenery, absolutely loved the vibe here. Kids and people from all walks of life will enjoy this public park, need a good weather as places of shades are limited. Bring mosquitoes repellent as the mossies will start buzzing in near the evening.
While walking around the Khaosan road, came across this mini park with beautiful and peaceful surrounding. The bed of flowers on the entrance will pull off anyone to pay a visit to this park. That is how I landed up walking around this serene park. The farther side of the park has he beautiful view of the river and the other end a fort.
Peaceful public park, clean open air area
Very nice river view publ park. you can enjoy the superb scenary here.
Beautiful little park and pavilion with treat views of the river and bridges.
I went there during loy krathong festival 2019. The festival was well organized. The park was clean. This is area was suit for photo hunter, it has phra sumen fort, chaophraya riverbank, and museum nearby.
A nice place to visit if there is a fair, if not is just an abandoned garden near the river, few minutes are in half to take some photo and the tower is not open to visit.Frankly there are a lot of better places to visit near khaosan road.
Beautiful and quiet park, with vien on the river.
Great little park on the river edge. Nice looking Fort there too.
Small serene hideaway from the busy city. Calmed down by the subtle river tides. Surrounded by lots of delicious food and historic scenes, including the fort within the park itself.
Not for drinking or smoking. Also very bad ground for skating.
Good place to get a relaxRiver side view with fort as wellSunday activity in the parkGroup of people exercise and dance..
Very nice park, good place to relax
This is a fantastic Riverside park which is kept clean and is quite active during the day. They have aerobics classes and people gather to enjoy the outdoors. The views are stunning from the park and the actual park itself is small but sparkling clean, a good place to break away from Bangkok craziness.
I love to stay here. Quite place with beautiful harmony music. Sitting seeing Chao praya river, seeing people play with their puppy, or aerobic group. Place near soi rambuttri, park when we are want to take a Chao praya boat.
It was closed for restauration (january 2019). Couldnt see it as it was covered in cloth. But the park surrounding it, the fort to the side and the riverfront is a beautiful place to spend some time relaxing from the heat and away from the street.
Its a good place to cool off the heat during afternoons and a place for recreation and relaxation. It also gives you a good view of the Phra Sumen Fort and the King Rama Bridge both day and night. It was also a good thing that we were able to experience a traditional and cultural fair there too.
I come often to this fort to read a book or just get some air.Evenings there are aerobic instructors so you can dance with the ladies, lets burn that fat of the butt!Further the flowers of the tree are smell very delicious. The other day I released my boat with wishes from here at the celebration of Loi Thatum
Cosy park to relax one of visited site for tourist... Not much people are going to this site but got some good scenery to unwind...
small but beautiful park.. you can relax yourself, see the river , take some picture and chill with your child there. Not really far from khaosan road
Small but so beautiful. No drinking or smoking and monitored by cameras so very safe. There was a small class doing a fan exercise class that was entertaining to watch and a sunset over the river was great. Also beautiful views of the Rama 8 bridge.
a large sala pavilion on the chao phraya near phra sumen
Beautiful, nice and calm little park, with an excellent view of the Chao Praya river, perfect for a break and a rest from all trafic and noice wich is present almost everywhere in Bangkok. The park is only a short walk from the Kao Sarn Road Area, just follow Rambuttri road down towards the river and you will find it :-)
One of the best place to relax yourself from crowded people with a riverside view and ancient fortress
Great small park with beautiful Thai traditional house, and historic tunnel and wall, with small part of water forest with birds and lizards
Little quiet park cooled by the river and with security officers. No playground, but still a good place to free kids from the city. Near the river, you can watch local people in their low cost housing.
This park is quiet and ideal for rest after lunch and continue..
