Testing course, good greens and 19th hole very efficient with good variety of snacks and beer.

Always good to play Santana. Fairly open course, not too difficult but usually in great condition and a very friendly atmosphere on the small clubhouse.

Played golf here this morning, course is fabulous and in great condition, one of our favorite places to play in the area, we had a mistake with our tee time but they were able to fix it and very accommodating, excellent staff and great customer service.

Course was OK, the welcome and food was world class

Golf was great and course was enjoyable ⛳️ Food and service in the clubhouse was fantastic. Really tasty seafood 🦞 and the homemade lasagna was delicious. A lovely place to go.

Great golf course in very good condition

Played last Wednesday in May as a two ball. Normally absolutely love this course but unfortunately greens had been treated and as a consequence were very rough. Would have expected to be told prior so could make an informed choice as to okay or not. Spoke with very friendly lady when we got back in and she said it was posted online but as I booked on the phone would not have seen this. She suggested I write to the manager Salva Jaime which I did do very politely I may add. He told me that basically because his staff were so well trained I would have been informed when I booked as as such didnt want to know. Incredible way to treat someone that had just spent 77 euro plus drinks etc in your business. I communicated with Salva several times where he continued to accuse me of lying and abusing his staff and told me I was only interested in getting free golf. I pointed out to him that there were two of us and as such he did not actually know who he was talking to in terms of speaking to his staff?I also pointed out that i actually had asked for nothing. Very rude indivual clearly with anger issues. Email thread available for anyone that wants to read it because there are several. Plenty other courses on the coast that are happy to have your business so better avoid this one till they change Salva.

Great course for large groups of varying abilities, the bar restaurant and the way that you are looked by the staff before and afterwards will remain with you as a great memory and a place to come back time and time again

Amazing golf course . And such super staff inc. Manager who looked after us so well. All round, a great experience. A Must if your in the Mijas area..

Stunning golf course and challenging lots of sand and water

The breakfast was poor, and was a shadow of several wonderful breakfasts we had there over the years.When we made our booking for green fees we were not told that the greens would be poleforked, they were in a terrible state, the course was not fit for play.

Very scenic course, heavily bunkered but with hollow tined greens. Very slow, Marshall needs to take charge or club need to allow fewer players.Staff all very attentive, pleasant and efficient.Overall a decent experience but some fine tuning needed.

Excellent golf course. Bit tough for a high handicap player, but, loved it all the same. Friendly helpful staff.

Whilst I liked Santanta Golf, no way is it a €76 course should be €40 max, La Cala, Mijas & Chapparel are a stones throw away and all offer an experience - Teeing off from heights to find low Fairways, features like Waterfalls, a full range of European beers on tap, sun terraces, and the course layout is exciting! Santana does not and is some way behind with Facilities to, the clubhouse is tiny and the decking area is cramped and shadowed by bushes, I stayed for one drink (a can of Guiness - as they only have Cruzcampo on draught- and I dont drink beerI wanted an open sun terrace with course views but got a wooden enclosed box.also no after golf snacks, forget sharing nuts and crisps after a round as they are not sold at Santana, also dont forget your cigaraettes as they have no machine)The 3 stars are for: firstly the clubhouse ladies who were inviting and helpful - 1 star, and the other two stars are what I rate the course out of 5 which pains me to say as I was looking forward to this course but will not be returning at that price. ever.

Open course with great scenery and challenging greens. What lets it down is the changing room and showers, very poor for a club of this quality.

Golf course was great didnt help having to pull a Golf trolley in the heat for the first 6 holes having booked and paid for buggies

Lovely course but a pity you have to leave buggy on path n walk to where ball has landed which could be maybe 50 to 80 yards away never had a buggy n could not go on fareways but great course well worth a visit

This review is for my second trip to Spain so called Costa del Golf. Once I said I will never go to Spain again, but. This time I came with smaller group (flight). Our 1st course were Santana. Nice entrance, kind of small course with even smaller clubhouse and parking lot. Very pleasant staff to talk, everyone super friendly. I cannot judge much restaurant since we had just coffee and that was nothing special, this is not Italy, have a wine there.Now to the facilities. My folks were missing driving range which is not available on this course, I do not care but for some people it could be no go.Course is wide open. From design point of, nothing what I would be crazy about, its not long from white tees its about 6.9km. You will not lose a ball unless you are over the fence or in water. Fairways are wide and roughs were still short and no thick. Quality is OK for the money you will pay. I could not say what would be my signature hole, there were not many what would burned forever in my memory, sorry. The best there is the starter, very funny guy, nice to talk. I say its affordable golf to start your vacation. I gave 3 stars just because of missing driving range and not interesting design.

We cime regularly to the restaurant and play golf. Favirite dish pasta adolfo. Very good wines. Waiters and restaurant owner very friendly. Love to eat here.

Certainly one of the fairer courses we played. Greens more playable than the more expensive courses we played with less 3 putts all round. Nice welcome and great service from the bar. Recommended.

Beautiful place to be. Very popular just too busy. When weather is this good here, this place is the place to be. Clubhouse is small but the food is excellent.

Just wanted to put that I had a nice round of golf today with my friends coarse was in good condition.but the welcome was a lot to be desired, on arrive we walked to the desk to check in no greeting whatsoever just a grumpy comment of ur late wen we were actually 15 mins early of our tee time..think your staff need charm school training!!! Would like to say the man who greeted us on the 1st tee was very welcoming and accommodating maybe they need to work with him more !!!

This is a superb course, and well worth the trip. Some lovely holes, some long, some shorter, but all interesting. Great consistent greens with some v subtle borrows, but thats golf for you. Excellent irrigation system. See the photos.

We booked three rounds but because we didnt mention it on day one we we charged per day rate which was not what we booked. Make sure to mention it when checking in for first day. Course is lovely and the staff could not be better in the bar. Girl in reception at the golf could be more pleasant.

The course is in immaculate conditions with fast greens. It is a somewhat short and forgiving layout with some challenges. A joy to play and I will certainly be happy to return there.

Nice Golf course. Large fairways. Good food in the clubhouse. Strange Marshall though that tried to explain to us, when playing from white tees, we needed to register this prior to the round. He also tried to convince us (HCP 9that we were slowing down the game, although we had to wait at almost every tee.

Stunning golf course, great wide fairways well kept. Greens a bit slow yesterday as been treated but will be fab very soon. Cafe serving food on the course. Definitely one to go to.

What a beautiful golf course. The course was immaculate and so interesting. We had a pull trolley and enjoyed the walk. Finished off in the restaurant and they too deserve 5 Stars. Food and service was excellent. We will be back for sure!

Love this place. Golf course is one of the best on the Costa Del Sol. Always presented in immaculate condition.Great course for walking as not too hilly.Great par 3’s as all very different.Good wide fairways but still a great test of golf.The clubhouse has no real view of the course and you finish the 18th someway from the building but that’s no big issue.Staff in the clubhouse are great, as is the food. The homemade lasagna is best I’ve had anywhere.A must visit for any golfer.
