This place is very relaxing, the food is good nice cabins to stay, you can go to the different thermal pools, have nice relaxing massage.Definitely a must go again!

Perhaps my expectations were higher… but place is very run down, smells weird, spa is not what you imagine any type of spa to be. Romantic pool was extremely cold and it smells disgusting. But the massages were nice, however, expect absolutely no privacy in there. People walk in and out of the rooms like this is a conference room or something. Different cultures I guess. I enjoyed my time but I wouldn’t waste my time coming here, go to a natural spring instead, specially if visiting on vacation.

It was amazing. We loved it!!! If you want to relax, well this is the perfect place.

There are no signs, maps or suggestions of where to start or go. Youre on your own. Experience was okay, I would suggest you look for another activity for the day.

The place is beatiful. The atention to the customer is something that needs to be improve. We had to ask for service in the restaurant. The food is very good.

The springs are very beautiful and quiet during the day but in the evening, groups came and played music too loud until late at night. The food was delicious and the accommodations were clean, but I don’t recommend staying overnight due to the loud groups at night and the employees that made a lot of noise cleaning up early in the morning.

The water is very HOT and is natural water Feels like a jacuzzi but it’s very therapeutic because it relaxes your muscles and increases joint and muscle strength and flexibility.There’s also some pools that are more cooler than others and there’s some that are hotter There’s varieties you can choose$10 per person to enter

This is a place worth visiting! Very clean pools, multiple pools to get into...warm, cool, and very hot water. Fee per person $10 unless youre doing the mud bath and facial mud is $25 per person. Very relaxing place. Drinks are a little over priced, but worth going to.

This is an amazing hotel in the mountains with natural hot springs. Clean, excellent service and very convenient for the room price.

The main pool by the restaurant was quite nice, and the one just beside that, but otherwise the rest of the place seemed pretty run down. I’m not sure where they are dumping sewage, but it also smelled quite bad throughout the property (not the sulphur smell). Maybe it is going downhill to where there are some hot pools which would exacerbate the smell. Some of the pools had a lot of algae growing on the edges so I’m not sure how often they are cleaned out, but it can’t be that much. Drinks were limited at the restaurant. Seemed expensive at $1.50 for a can of pop. Think this place has more potential and they’ve let it run down a bit too much. Time to give it some love and attention!

When staying at the Hotel Santa Teresa (in Ahuachapanthe hot springs are included. They are well maintained and tempered to different temperatures, so everyone can find the right amount of heat for themselves. The best pool by far is the mud bath, it is quite hot and rich is sulfur and pumice. Spread the mud all over your body and your skin will never feel softer.

It was ok. The thermal pools were good and the mud experience was ok also the ladies at the mud baths were very friendly and good service everyone one else had terrible customer service we ordered food and our meat was Raw and had blood coming out of my steak when we asked if they can cook it more the lady literally rolled her eyes when she came back with our plates the meat was so hard we weren’t even able to bite into it. We asked them to give the food to the dogs around there since it was so many of them on the property. Food is very overpriced and terrible I paid for a $50 massage and I literally have bruises on my legs and arms I asked this lady 3times for less pressure as her massages where so rough and it seemed as she was angry. No towels and hospitality over all TERRIBLE We will not be going back or recommending to anyone.

Rejuvenating experience, tons of pools to swim in, massage options are nice. Shower head feature in spa needs to be replaced to provide customers a relaxing hot rinse experience. Really enjoyed my experience overall. This place should definitely be added to any soul’s list needing thermal waters.

This place was really awesome. We felt really relaxed. They have a bar and restaurant style setting to eat. This place has massage therapy (appointment necessary), sauna, facial scrub, mud for the body, several thermal heated pools with were incredible. One must bring your own towel as this facility does not provide or rent patrons with one to dry off. Only downside is there were too many stay dogs, thats not something we wanted around while eating on the private property.

Great place to enjoy the hot springs, the food is a little too pricey and not excellent but there isnt anymore to eat. The spa is magnificent i love it! Overall the place is very good I enjoy my self every time we go there.

Stayed a whole night cost $65 per person and the packet comes with a free mud spa if dont want to stay the night the mud spa cost $10 and they have natural steam rooms very nice very very relaxing and on the property they give massages from $25 to 60 everybody is very nice the food is good lots of places to get in the water and the water is very warm and if you dont want to stay the night they charge you $10 from 8:00 an in the morning till 10:00 p.m.

Warm and natural water. One of the guys working there came and put cold water in every pool, so pools became regular cold. Didnt understand point. In restaurant, pollo sandwiche was really delicious. They need better changing rooms.

The service here was HORRIBLE. The thermal waters are nice but they service you can find in different properties around here. This isnt the only place. You can also find much better service. There were people who waited over 2 hours for food to be served. In our party we waited for 50 minutes just to be told that what we had ordered was not available. This was only after asking 3 different people about the status of our order. The place was also not busy for it to have been a factor. I can only imagine what the service is on the weekend.

It is worth a visit especially if you opt for the massage and mud treatment. It is a natural spa and is a bit remote. Also opt for the meal package. The food isnt bad and there is nothing else for miles anyway.

Beautiful grounds, the hot springs are amazing. The pools are well maintained and the people enjoy the benefits of them. The only downside for me was the bathroom stalls are clear, so everyone can see your business.

I would have given the hot springs more stars but I was treated so poorly. Zoila the woman who was in charge of the sauna clay experience was wonderful. But the person in charge for that afternoon was terrible. There was such a difference between someone visiting for the day and someone staying in the cabanas. My family visited for a day. Once we arrived, we weren’t greeted or told anything about the facilities, given directions, or even a towel. I had to go to the bar and ask for towels for my family. I was told towels were only for guests staying at the cabanas. When I researched the hot springs, it didn’t state bring your own towel. I finally had to give him $10 to “rent the towels” and my California driver license. I’d definitely recommend going to the thermal springs, but if you are going only for the day, you are on your own. Not hospitable toward day visitors.

We bought the $25 package that includes the clay. The guy at the front desk said we could go down to do the clay/spa at anytime and someone would help us. We originally chose to visit because of the clay option so it was the first thing we decided to do. The lady attending the clay experience let us know she couldnt help us because she was about to go on her lunch and wouldnt be back for an hour. So we went back to the front desk to request a refund or credit for the massages. The guy said to talk to the manager, so we did. The manager called someone below and told the lady to help us which we were happy that she did but the lady was already on her way to her lunch and was told she had to come back there was no one to replace her so she could take her lunch. The lady had kids waiting on her to come home for her lunch hour. She was sweet and still gave us the experience but it killed the experience overall.

Had a great experience with my family. Friendly staff, accommodating spa staff, and food was delicious. Oh, and not to mention the wonderful hot springs and mud treatments. All just wonderful. We had 14 of us there.

Place is big I enjoy the food and the house we stayed has a kitchen and private pool, big living area , I lightly recommend 👌 oh almost forget to mention the spa it wasnt what expected but was fun

One of the rare natural hot springs in El Salvador, will not dissapoints.

We did enjoy it, wish it wasnt raining so hard then we would of definitely stayed longer. Was super relaxed afterwards we took a nap our whole ride back into town.

Very exotic and peaceful..I recomend to stay at least 2 day,, for maximum relaxation..They are hot natural springs, they also have natural mineral full body clay mask and steem wells with eucalyptus branches. $10 dollars.

I am giving it a 5 star because of how the place makes you feel and I believe that is what the experience is all about.There were some broken things in our room, even though we were at the Presidential Suite, no doughts it needs better keeping up. However, I didnt come to be stuck in my room, the beauty is in the exteriors.It is indeed a Beautiful place, relaxing and peaceful. A must visit if you are in El Salvador. Pools vary in temperature, some are very hot others are not so there is plenty to choose from. Keep in mind that it is a rustic place with natural hot spring water.There are 40 pools some are private depending on your room or villa you are in.You can go for a full day experience for $10 or spend the night for $45 to $75 per person - dinner and breakfast Included.One of the things I like about Santa Teresa is that you can stay in the pools as late as you like. Santa Teresa Hotsprings is just as beautiful at night as it is during the day.kStaff is very friendly with completes the experience. We had a nice young guy named Francisco take care of us, he was very helpful and friendly. We made our group reservation wrong and Francisco made it possible to accomodate everyone comfortably.Oh. And dont forget to tip! Salvadoreans are very greatful people.

The place you can experience skin caring with mud. Entrance fee is $10. water is very hot in some tubs so be careful not to overheat yourself
