Santa's Village Azoosment Park in Bartlett
Description
Privilege
We went for the Halloween drive thru lights, it was awesome. I wish they had more decorations lol but it was great. Loved all the themes with the skeletons. $30 a car, $25 if you buy ahead online. Not busy at all when we went, kids really enjoyed it.
MoreSome of the staff is amazing but other than that the management there got rid of some really nice and amazing employees. Also there is No more picnic lunches in the park you you need money to go here you have to be able to afford the admission, food and drink and souvenirs if you want. At this point six flags is cheaper as far as size and accommodations for the price charged.
MoreFun kids park!! Can spend entire day riding different adult and kids ride. Well maintained and reasonable $$..
MoreDefinitely a trip down memory lane. I dont remember what it looked like back then so i cant comment on changes. Brought kids for Scout day. Loved the fact that the lines were short so we were able to go on numerous times. Not the biggest park. Food was a little high and forget the gift shop. Very $$$$$.
MoreGreat fun place for kids. They have plenty of rides and a decent waterpark. They dont allow outside food or anything. Their food is extremely over priced. So you are stuck spending ton of money on food. Even a bottle of water is $3.
MoreFirst thing, being a parent in the world we live in, the first thing that crossed mind is safety. Santas Village prob has the best safety options that is put there at any amusement parks. From metal detectors, to checking bags and you would see at least 5 to 10 SWAT OFFICERS patrolling inside the park. A big kudos to the East Dundee Police Department. No long lines to get on rides, not too crowded even on weekends.
MoreWonderful day with my daughter inlaw and grand daughters. Charming as I remember it. They were a bit short staff. This is not their fault it is the disease of our society. Employees who were very polite and friendly had to rotate between operating rides. I wish the choices of food would have included a salad that didnt have chicken on it. We will return .
MoreThe village has rides that are exciting;the food is expensive when you consider that many families of four+ are vistors. Lunch can cost from $60 - 100 dollars. The village is clean, and they sanitized the tables after each group leaves. I enjoyed my visit with a family of 6. Additionally thEre is excellent security.
MoreWent on a holiday weekend so the park was as full as it can get. I had to park in a non -designated spot at the farthest corner of the parking lot. And still the lines were not terrible for the rides. Each ride you had to wait two or three turns before it was your turn. There was only one ride not running. The staff was pretty friendly even if they looked stressed.Other reviewers noted that you could bring a picnic lunch. They indeed had a ton of picnic tables throughout the park. While waiting in line to enter the park, we were informed that no food or beverage (other than waterwas allowed. I feel like this was the only downside to an otherwise great park for kids.
MoreIts a nice little older amusement park. Its like a fair/Waterpark but without the super long lines. We were there on a holiday weekend, and the parking lot was packed. The lines still werent bad at all. Food Id actually pretty good and decently priced for being an amusement park. I took a 2 year old and a 6 year old and both could do quite a bit. There were only 2 things the 6 year old couldnt do. The reason for 4 stars and not 5 is only finding 1 bathroom, and because of the hours. Itd be nice if it stayed open later. Over all we liked it and plan to come back and do the Waterpark too next time.
MoreGood safe fun at reasonable costs and food is cheap to a chicken tenders basket and fries for $11.99
MoreOur first time with our grandson which was a blast. We enjoyed our time there. We were excited to see the reindeer also.
MoreThey dont have enough personnel to work the rides, two guys were operating five rides and you didnt, they didnt, know which ride was going to be next so have kids and parents rushing all over... To me the admission price was to high, $30 per person, for the rides and activities for the kids. Half the rides were not operating and the water park was also closed! Summer isnt over yet! Not coming back anytime soon... I understand the lack of employees but they should be organized better to provide a good service to the kids.
MoreFun. Affordable. But its missing the music and more rides!
Completely understand the limited staff, however if an employee needs to leave the area where little ones are already lined up for a ride, it wouldnt hurt to say something like "sorry folks, this ride is closing I need to leave and go over to another ride". Its just being kind, thats all.Other than that, it was a great day and a nice park.
MoreIt was nice. Friendly customer service. It small. You can see deers 🦌 and a few other animals. They have free parking.
MoreIt cost us 110 dollars for 3 people to get in this place. Its okay. They have carnival rides and several animals to pet and feed. I only give 3 stars because the "water park" isnt a water park. Its a water playground. Only a kiddie pool with small slides and a two slides for adults and big kids. The water playground structure with the small slides has a dump bucket that dumps a lot of water on the stairs to go up. Dump buckets are fun but not for everyone. My daughter was afraid to go up the stairs and when we finally ran up the stairs while the bucket was filling, we got constantly dripped by the piping above our heads. Not small drips. I mean showered where its hard to even navigate the structure to see which slide you want to go down. It sucked to be up there because the water is so clorinated, it hurts when it drips in your eyes too much. I might go again if they have discounted tickets but never again for the full price. Kind of outrageous for what it is.
MoreSantas Village would be a fun time for younger kids at around $20, but at $34 for same day and $29 in advance, its a little pricey for what you get. 1There arent enough park rides to justify a high price. Most are the traditional carnival rides which are fine, but you can find them any where. 2The "water park" is a zero depth pool with a structure for little kids in the middle (nice, but again, you can find these at any water parkand two water slides. 3The petting zoo is mostly goats which are cute, but they charge $5 for a cup of food for them. 4The food there is really expensive. As far as I can tell, the food vendors are independent businesses, and theres not cap on pricing. $30 for two pretzels and two Slushie type drinks is really, really over priced. If you choose to go, make sure you bring snacks and drinks. I think you pay an extra fee for a cooler. Also, make sure you get the best deal you can find on tickets, and plan on a half day there (maybe less). I believe in supporting local business, and I know that running a park like this is expensive, but as a consumer with kids, I really cant justify going back for the amount it cost me to take them.
More1st time going and heard that parking could fill up quick, so we should get there early. Got there 15 min early which was perfect because it filled up not to much after that. We had an 8 and a 2yr old. There were plenty of rides for both of them. Even the animals that they were able to feed and post were great. This place is not too big, but not too small. Perfect size for a good day or with the family. It was a hot day so we should have gone to the water park as well... but definitely next time. Staff was friendly.
MoreWe’ve been coming here for two years and it never disappoints! The entrance gets kids unlimited rides. The food inside is delicious and there’s a bar for grown ups. The staff is very friendly and treated my kids with respect. There is a water park/splash area so be sure to pack towels and a bathing suit. There are a few nights during the summer when they stay open until 9pm for working parents & caregivers. Can’t wait to bring my kids back!
MoreMy daughter had a good time. A couple rides were broken down (there isnt that many to begin withand they are very short staffed. The water park was the worst. Maybe because of short staff. It was chaotic. Kids running everywhere unsupervised, pushing and cutting in lines. I know thats more of a bad parenting thing but if there were more life guards AKA babysitters, it would have been more enjoyable.
MoreMy kids love going here. Lots of rides to go on, although my 11 year old is too tall for some of the kiddie rides. She still loves it though. I havent gone to the waterpark but it looks nice and there are bathrooms over there. The only thing I wish they would add is another bathroom in the middle of the park. Theres one kind of near the front and one by the waterpark. But when you have a small child who really has to "go" that extra bathroom would be nice.
MoreThis Place Is Amazing For Children Under 10 No Lines They Never Get Bored And Perfect Summer Entertainment
MoreThis is a great place for kids, especially if you have a child thats 6 years or older who just reached the 48 inch height limit. Perfect intro to amusement park for kids! My son loved it.
MoreWe like going here. We have been only going here for the last couple years with my grandson. Looking forward to taking both of them. There are rides for the little and pre-teen. On a hot day we go to the pool on site to cool off. It is for smaller children and they have a lot of slides and such for all children and some for adults and teens. We have not eaten there as of yet.
MoreI remember going there myself as a kid. As we all know everything changes. I took my son and niece to Santas Village today and we had a blast. I will say its a great place to go with kids. It brought back childhood memories for me and created new ones with my son and niece. I cant wait to go back again.
MoreI went here growing up and now i take my girls here too. They had lots of fun as we did. The only reason for a 4 star is only because the pricing on items inside for food was very high. I paid almost 8 for an icy the girls eveb said was melted and the tickets used to come with discounts. When my girls were younger, they had kids up to 12 at a discount price and seniors at a discount price. But i can understand with inflation, prices on everything had to increase. id still pay 20 a person for all the fun and smiles the girls had and Ill probably take them again before the year ends as we didnt take a vacation past 2 years with covid and now moving. Height i would say most kids 3 in age can go on most rides either alone or with an adult. After 7 years of age, pretty much every ride. Their fave was the tilt a whirl and that is my fave too 🤪. The $25 for an igloo is worth it. I think next time ill get that to pack with water and snacks if not food.
MoreThe kids had a great time, but from what I remember going here as a kid, the place has become very ran down. Everything looks old and beat up, the water park is more like a park district size area for little kids with two bigger slides for adults/teenagers. In my opinion it looks like the owners gave up a long time ago and are just going thru the motions to get by. We planned a whole day there this passed weekend but only lasted 3 hours......
MoreGreat time for the family. Plenty of rides for kids at a very affordable price. My only suggestion is that the rides are more geared towards smaller kids so if you have children over 12 that like amusement parks you may be better off at a larger park with more options. The majority of the children with us were between 3-12 and they had a blast. There are pretty decent food and beverages options so you won’t go hungry or thirsty but like all amusement parks food and drinks have high prices. If you are looking to save a little money, eat lunch before entering or make sure each person in your family brings in their own sealed bottle of water
MoreGreat family friendly experience with rides, petting zoo and water park.
We took a group of 9 here of all ages. We stayed for 6 hours. Started off with rides, petting zoo, games, ate lunch, more rides, then finished the day down at the water park. Everyone has a great time, lots to do. The only one that wasnt enthused was our 16 yr old son. You do save money if you buy passes online. They also have a deal For 30$ to add at gate that includes, lunch combo & other extras. We added for the the younger ones of group & was definitely worth it.
MoreNo line for any of the rides, little run down, little cheap but good fun for smaller kids. Could use some more shade in the water park area.
MoreEmployees are not friendly and dont want to be there in person or on phone calls, if they answer. There was soooo little staff you have to wait longer for games rides and everything! Let me put it this way there was 1 employee for 3 games. Half the rides are closed daily! Its a money trap and people go because of what it USED TO BE. We have 4 season passes but after 2 wastes of days Im sure well never go again.
MoreThe kids are just about out growing this special place. We love it! This is a great family place for younger kids and a cheap day
MoreSantas village in the middle of summer? We were pretty skeptical going in but this turned out to be an amazing experience for my toddler that we were not expecting at all... Most rides are perfect for toddlers and there is a good variety of rides with decent wait times. The tickets included access to a water park and that was fun too. The park also has good number of picnic tables and shaded areas. Outside food is not allowed (water is allowedbut we were not checked at the gate. The park also offered typical food options that were a little overpriced. This place has good parking. The only reason I did not give five stars is because of the timings.. it opens 11am and closes 6pm.
MorePark is clean with friendly people, but the prices are very high, and they play games with ticket prices. There is only one $18.99 day if you purchase 3 weeks In advance. No coolers allowed, so they also get you at the concession stands.
MoreCute but small water area, there are lockers and showers. Some of the rides are not operational at all, others switch off due to lack of staff. Buy tickets online at least 1 day before to save $7+ per ticket. Wasnt too busy when we went. Children ages 3, 7, & 8 all had a great time.
MoreIm a season pass holder and every time we come Im so impressed with how clean the park is and how friendly the staff is! It really makes for a great experience! Even Santa is amazing, truly the best Santa ever! We did the water park for the frist time and again was very happy with the amount of lifeguards and how attentive they were. I felt very safe having my three year old at the Waterpark! Great job!
MoreWent with 6 & 8 year old boys - worth every penny! Like a 6 flags for kids, the oldest went on all but 3 rides. They have a little water park but the weather wasnt warm enough. If you have older kids they might be bored easily.
MoreI havent been here since my girls were little. So to bring granddaughter to celebrate her 2nd birthday was great. First the manager Tawny was amazing she was very helpful. The park wasnt crowded and all my babies were able to get on all the rides many times. Overall the day was great will be coming back.
MoreMy children had a great time. Perfect place to take young children, it has everything. A miniature size amusement park, zoo and water park. Prices are little steep. Bigger amusement park are cheaper
MoreLights were beautiful. The line for hot chocolate was extremely long and not worth it, tasted like packet hot chocolate. I would Def do lights again but pass on food stand
MoreSanta’s village drive thru light shoe was such a fun experience for our family! I can honestly say that I enjoyed this as much as my kids. To ride through the actual park was a hit for us. Then being able to talk to SANTA AND MRS. CLAUS plus see the reindeer and other animals was super cool.At the very end you have a photo opportunity and can purchase hot cocoa and a funnel cake!We will be doing this again during Christmas break!
MoreHavent been here in 28 years since I was a kid and bringing my kids was a great experience. The rides, attractions, live animals, and the overall experience was fun for the whole family. We loved the small caterpillar roller coaster and the lines were not long of a wait. They have a park for the kiddos too.
MoreAWESOME TIME,MY GRANDKIDS REALLY ENJOYED THEMSELVES. I BRING THEM EVERY YEAR. THE PARK LOOKS GREAT, WE LOVED EVERYTHING. THE KIDS REALLY ENJOYED WATER PARK ,IM SO HAPPY YOU GUYS ARE STILL PROVIDING FUN FOR FAMILIES.WE WILL BE BACK NEXT YEAR!😁👍
MoreEverything was great. They definitely remodel the whole park and it was great. Water park was awesome. Everything kid friendly. I cant forget the funnel cake sundae 🤪 they also added restaurants as well. Kind of expensive thought. Kid will love this place, as I when I was little.
MoreHad a great time with kids. This was our first time going to Santa’s village and our kids loved it. We’re planning to visit again before the summer ends.
MoreGreat park for younger kids. Try to get there early because lot fills up quick. I liked that it was easy to go out to my car for water and be back inside quick rather than paying $3 a bottle.
MoreWe had a great day here! The kids really loved the rides, and parents can ride with them on most of them. The zoo part is neat the goats are fun. There was hardly a wait for any ride. Santa is there too and you can meet with him and take pictures. Theres a water park part but we didnt go there. I recommend this place for people with kids who dont want to spend the crazy amount of money it costs to go to other places.
MorePlenty of rides and games for the kids, nice toys and t-shirts, and items for the kids in the gift shop, and also have farm animals to pet and feed as well. Pizza was great, especially when hungry after chasing your child around😊😁
