Sanjeevini Park - Park in Mysore, India
Neat and green .Dont forget to bring some vegetables to fed pets which is enjoyable by kids and you
24 hour security guards watching the park. Cool and best walking place. And also maintaining love birds, hemu , ducks, mini waterfalls ( not openingetc. But one of the problem no place for children toys.
Beautiful park, could maintain even better
Sanjeevini park / The happy man park is such a wonderful place to spend time. Either alone or with mates. Its peaceful and gives joy to self. The greenery, and those rabbits, ducklings, emus and lot more gives happiness. It would be colourful if flower plants or coleus kinda plants are planted. In a nutshell, its a beautiful and calm place .
Small but beautiful. A calm place for an evening walk
Nice place to relax , also we can find habitat of fish, rabbit and etc
Its well maintained park😍🤩🤩one of the best family park in mysuru its cleanliness is top-notch, plants shaping is done in regular intervals along with cleaning.why I am stressing on cleaning is bcz of highly traffic area with residents & hospital people usually park are given for walking & relaxing purpose but nowadays its been spoiled drunken people so keeping in that its well maintained, good thing is there is small farm in side where rabbit duck ,birds kept, if u go with children there is lot of playing equipment which make more reasons to spend time, beside park there is a hospital which make more useful for outers to take rest , more over making a park beside hospital is great idea as it helps in more ways, during holidays its gets too busy as bcz of more residents comes,, but in normal days busy only at morning & evening , there are lot of selfie spot to capture 😍
Nice park. Good for morning walking
Visited on 13th Aug 2022 around 8 PM. It is a good park to spend couple of hours. But night time there are no lights, most of the place inside the park are dark. Rabbits are there but no light there to see them in night time. Except this it is good.
Its awesome park... Kids love this
Its a wonderful park, the maintenance of the park is done with neat finishingThe views they have made it wonderful...The animals there are adding more beautiful to the parkThey have RABBITS, PIGEONS,DUCKS,SWANS...its just awesome to watchThe Central idol act as an crown to the parkIts a small but cute park as u could say

Such a peaceful place to take rest
A peaceful park to spend time for couples & couples with kids. Its not a big one like the others; but a very beautiful one.The folks who have maintained have done a splendid job.
All the parks need some upkeep, interms the benches etc to be fixed ,painted consistently
Very nice park, manicured garden and lawn. They have some geese, emu, rabbits and hens in the park too, in a small enclosure. They have made a small bridge and pond. Its open for long hours and many kids and elderly people come to sit here and chat. Very nice for an hour long relaxing evening.
Well maintained park and they have few animals like Rabbits, Emo bird, Ducks, Pigeons and fishes. The park has lost its initial glory, meaning when it was started there were more birds and animals and also there was a working waterfall and fountains which was beautiful. Now they are not working or maintained and there is a fish pond which is not clean.
Well maintained park, It also has avifauna as a surprise. its pleasant to be there. can spend a evening there in peace.
The park is maintained so well. The green plants and lovable pets are main highlight.Such a great memories we have.
Fresh environment & my weekend mind refreshing park. I really liked this because they maintain park as well as animals also.
Park is very good except for the animals they have held in the cages. It is very inhuman to see the suffering and bound animals n birds. Many rabbits have skin issues n big wounds, so are the birds. Geese ducks has no access t swim in water at all. Tortorous place for animals
Peaceful and lovely atmosphere
Nice and clean park..free to walk.nice for childrens also..the park has kept the rabbits, emu and pegion very badly not regularly cleaned or maintained.its very sad to see keeping animals in such a unhygienic place.nobody takes care about them.please do keep it clean.
Its a nice park for kids since they have animals and birds here. The park is well maintained. There are rabbits, ostrich, and hens here.
The Happy Man Park is a favorite picnic spot in Mysore found at about 3km from Mysore Railway station near Kamakshi Hospital. It is named after the prominent statue of Happy Man with a big belly. The highlight of this park is the gigantic statue of Happy Man, resembling Laughing Buddha. The park is not of vast area but mini zoo. We find beautiful small stream bedecked with wooden bridge attracting children as childrens play area is well arranged. I could see many ducks and hens roaming around freely in the park. The children are excited to play with them. Before giving other attractions let me brief you about the beautiful city Mysore. Mysore is the cultural capital of erstwhile Mysore state and capital of Wadeyar dynasty from 1399 until 1947, for about six centuries. Though the Kingdom of Mysore was ruled by Wadeyars, but ruled by Hyder Ali and his son Tippu Sultan during late 18th century.Mysore city is situated at the base of beautiful Chamundi Hills and historical city in state of Karnataka in India. It is the second biggest city in Karnataka and one of the cleanest cities in India. There are umpteen numbers of tourist attractions to be visited and many are ‘must visit’ dots. They include Mysore Palace, Brindavan Gardens, Chamundi Hills, Jagmohan Palace Art Gallery, Lalitmahal Palace, Parks, Gardens, Datta Peeta, Mysore Zoo, Karanji Lake, Jayalakshmivilas mansion and ‘Happy Man Park’. Many popular restaurants and varieties of lodges and star hotels cater to the needs of thousands of tourist landing here every day.Mysore is not only famous for its palaces but also for the celebrations that take place during annual Dasara festival. The city receives large number of tourists from all corners of the world. Name of Mysore is carried on for its style of painting, dishes called ‘Mysorepak, masaladosa’ etc. Mysorepeta, the traditional silk turban, and Mysore silk saree are specially noted decorative dignified dress for men and women. It is also well known for sandalwood and carved wood artifacts made in rosewood, sandalwood and teak.Originally Mysore was named after its demon king Mahishasura, as Mahisuru, who was a mythological demon and ruled this area. He had the boon from Lord Brahma to assume forms of both human and buffalo at his will. He was killed by Goddess Chamundeswari. The temple of Chamundeswari is on the top of Chamundi Hills. We can see the attractive statue of Mahishasura holding snake in his hand near the temple. When you are at the statue don’t forget to take a selfi, as it is worth preserving. In the later centuries on invasion and domination of British the name Mahisuru came to be uttered in peculiar accent in English in several ways and finally found its rhythmic tune as Mysore. Thus the name Mysore is an anglicised version of Mahisūru that stood to mean as abode of Mahishasura.Happyman Park is open in the morning again between 4:30 pm and 9:00 pm. We can enjoy nice slow music played in small loudspeakers that would mesmerize the visitors. Regular walkers and joggers would enjoy the cool breeze. It is an ideal picnic spot. Most of the residential areas in Mysore have their own small parks. There are about 180 parks and playgrounds in Mysore city. Among them ‘Sanjeevini park’ was neglected one as I had seen. It gained popularity only after the entry of ‘Laughing Buddha’ or ‘Happyman’ with gigantic body in 2006 and recognised as Happy Man Park. You can reach Mysore by Rail, Road and/or Air. The nearest international airport is at Bangalore at 150kms.
Great place for fresh mornings and evenings
Nice place one time visit. Maintenance is required. I felt sorry about the parrots cages were not clean. Good number of rabbits kids will enjoy. Fond full of fish
Nice park to take a walk in the evening. Good place for children. It is just next to Kamakshi hospital and helpful for hospital visitors to spend some peaceful time there. You might spot some birds kept there as well. Birds could use some more help in terms of maintenance though.
Enjoyed a lot with rabbits, emu s, pigeons and parrots. Beautiful artificial lake with lots of colour full fishes , beautiful lawn with surrounding walking path and gymn.In corona time it is a boon for city people to relax their body and mind.

A good place for elders and children. The one of the best small park for getting a peaceful mind. I love this place.
-> Sanjeevini Park also known as Happy Man Park is situated nearby behind Kamakshi Hospital and nearby Sigma Hospital, Saraswathipuram.-> This park is so special that they play music in the working hours for the public to sit and relax or walk around or to exercise or even to spend time with someone special 😂.-> The entrance to this park is very creative like a Happy Man 👨🏻 is welcoming everyone to the park.-> The main attraction of this park is a golden statue situated in the middle.-> The lighting conditions and ambience is perfect for photography 📷, videography 📹 and photo shoot 📸.-> This park is so neat and clean.-> There’s a collection of birds 🦢 like Emu, Parrot and some animals 🐇 like rabbits inside the park which seems to be a small zoo(If I’m too excited 😆).-> In the evening from 4 o’clock, it’s very beautiful to walk through this park and see the special lighting effects of sunlight ☀️ spreading onto the green lawn 🍃and bushes 🌳 all around.-> If you’re living nearby Saraswathipuram or Kuvempunagar you’ve to visit this park at least once.
