Sangam Indian Restaurant Prague - Indian restaurant in Prague, Czech Republic
Resto ambiance is too cool 😎This resto provides Indo-Chinese foods. We had samosa, Chilly garlic naan, paneer kofta, egg fried rice and mango lassi.Samosa was tasty only coz of katta Meeta chutney.Chilly garlic naan was big and sufficient.Egg fried rice was best among all🤤And I dint find the magic of mango lassi ☹️
Approved by an Indian. This is superb authentic food!!Cant wait till you guys open up in Dubai/Amsterdam/London.
Amazing food , we tried chili garlic naan which was kadak and nicely roasted, pudina paratha, paneer dhaniya adraki. All well cooked and scrumptious. Ambience and cleanliness is good too. Definitely walk past the kitchen to see the big tandoor and dosa plates where the chef are preparing the food to get an authentic feeling.
As the ratings do justice to building hopes, the restaurant does justice to the quality and quantity of food both. Service is great. Spice levels are adjusted by the Chef from mild to authentic Indian spiciness. Overall a great satisfying meal.
Perfect. We had a birthday celebration there and everything was really good. Professional attitude of waiters superb food and reasonable prices. I will gladly return to try different food !
We had dinner on the 25th August. Food was excellent and the people who work there are very friendly and nice. We had rice and vegetables which were straight on spot and the mango ice cream was mind blowing. I recommend you to give this place a try. It might be a little away from the touristic area but its definitely worth it. And the price is also great. Great quality
Cozy restaurant, but we sensed that the stuff was either stressed or in a rush to clean for closing. Food was decent, the south Indian dish (Mysore Masala Dosawas quite authentic. Unfortunately all sides are an extra, even rice. No sope in the toilets. Overall an average experience.
Authentic Indian food. Hyderabadi chicken biryani tastes really good. Stuffed kulcha with kashmiri lamb is the best. My kid likes samosas. Little expensive but worth the price for taste & quality of food.
The food was tasty but small portion, compared to other Indian restaurants that Ive been. But I guess its reasonable because this restaurant looks fancier than normal Indian restaurant. The decor, the look are elegant
Amazing food with Great taste. Dheeraj served us on a Friday evening so well with a smile on his face and constantly kept checking if we need something. The ambience is also worth visiting with tasting their yummy foodPS: this place has a AC also, so more better on a Sunny day with high temperature.
Amazing experience. To be honest, this is by far the best Indian restaurant we have tried in Europe. Very high end and tasted like we were having food in India.
The food was awesome!! We ordered samosa, spring roll and papdi chart in starter. Dal makhni, chicken tikka masala and non veg platter, laccha paratha, naan as main course. Also, desert on the top!!
Best restaurant in Prague. We dined here everyday during our stay at Prague. I had decided to take a break from Indian food during my vacation but came here along with my family and fell in love with the place. The staff is warm, welcoming and humble. Every dish we ordered was delicious. Definitely worth a visit
I was here last night with my cousins. The food was great. The service was very sweet and attentive. The ambience was beautiful. We were so happy with everything. We are definitely going to be back again.Highly recommended.
Everything is delicious here. For the first time during my eurotrip i found them serving country food, somewhat better than restaurants in india. Must try tandoori chicken super yummy and amazing presentation.
Great food nice staff 👍 all good. Please mention specifically if do not like too spicy food. We visited twice. We recommend trying their Bhalla papri chat, Masala dosa (but sambar was very spicy for me its subject thoughDal and awesome butter Nan bread. Very delicious food 😋 indeed.
Amazing staff, food & ambience.I really liked Mysore dosa, masala papad & Dheeraj suggested us the chilli mogo & it was super 🤤 delicious. The masala chaach was cherry on the top 😍The dessert was made by special mithai maker from jaipur and literally gulab jamun was melting in mouth.Must visit at Prague
One of the best indian restaurants in prague. We had chilli paneer, masala dosa and mango lassi. Ambiance was really nice as the decor was like an royal style. Taste feels like real authentic indian food and service were also good. I would definitely recommend this place whenever you visit the Prague.
I went to this restaurant with high hopes. They truly exceeded me expectations. Absolutely wonderful Indian food. The service was by far the best I’ve had during my stay in Prague. At a very affordable price, you get superb Indian food. I am most pleased with my visit and I highly recommend it.
Excellent decor , impeccable service and rightly amongst the highest rated restaurant in PragueThe food is simply first-class authentic Indian cuisine. Every dish we ordered made our soul dance with happiness 💗
Very tasty Indian food. One of the best in Prague (maybe the best ☺️highly recommended!
My partner and I have eaten here twice, and ordered delivery many times. The food is amazing! One of the best Indian food places in Prague. I almost always order the Mango Chicken, because I’m a bit of a baby about spicy food… but it’s really delicious too!
If you are looking for authentic Indian food then this is the place. There just no chance that you will go wrong. Being born in Mumbai, I can definitely say that It wrongs all falsely claiming indian restaurants... Amazing staff. Just tell them about your taste buds and they will serve the best your taste buds have.Beautiful decor and perfect ambiance. Very highly recommended.
top notch indian restaurant in Karlín district. Wide selection of food (indian as well as indo-chinese).Great atmosphere, great service, great naan! Very highly recommended.
We enjoyed an excellent dinner with a friendly, very attentive and fast service. We got great food recommendations. Starters to share is the best option if you like some variations for the beginning. Everything was so authentic and delicious. Thank you very much. The price was much lower than expected.
If not the best, then the second best one Indian restaurant in Prague. Located in Karlín and praised by Anne-Sophie Mutter in her last visit to Prague, we choose it for our wedding anniversary. The attention of the staff and specially the quality and taste of the food, wonderful, excellent. Certainly we will return…!
Amazing food and service. ❤️ One of the best indians we have had in a long time. A touch of class.
This restaurant has my heart❤️ Ever want to taste Authentic Indian cuisine! just head straight to this place and I bet you! you wont be disheartened. Every thing is perfect. The food the ambience and the staff. Surely recommending this to my friends and families whenever they visit Prague.
Good South Indian and North Indian food. But beware of re-grilled re-heated chicken. One star gone for that. I was surprised by the re-heated tandoori chicken even though the presentation was wonderful. If you are one of the early customers dont expect freshly grilled meat. Lot of nice seating arrangements. Especially the one with sun terrace.
Ambiance is good.Food is not fresh. Not worth the price. We had our lunch and dinner here in Sangam 1 day, and next day we ordered the same food in nearby restaurant (Original Curry and Tandoor Restaurant, which is 1 min away from here- we found the food so fresh in the later, and also half the price as Sangam.I would avoid this place.Additional comments to Owners Response:What "The images posted by you are technically cropped from old post "?? This was taken by me 4 days ago, whilst I was having late lunch at yours on 17-Apr-2022 16:30hrs. We were sitting on the 1st table to the right as soon as you enter the restaurant. You may now verify your CCTV - my pic is there on my DP. You can take a look at my Google Maps Profile, I am a Local guide Level 5 with 1329 points (at the time of writing this post). 99% of my reviews so far on Google Maps across the world have been Positive, and if I post Negative, its really something for you to consider changing. And also a little warning to my traveller friends to be alert of.
I came to this restaurant while in search of an Indian restaurant with the best reviews and I can say that I was not disappointed. This restaurant is not located in the most touristic part of town, but as almost anything in Prague you can easily reach it walking or you can also take the public transport which shouldn’t take long. One minor negative point was that I had reserved a table via google and when I arrived there was no entry for my name (not sure what the issue was). In any case, the staff quickly prepared a table for me (I am glad it wasn’t full). The service was quite friendly and professional (even providing a warm wet towel to clean the hands before the meal).I am by far not an Indian food expert, but this was one of the tastier meals I had in Indian restaurants. I had a beer (0.5L), Papadums, Vegetable Samosa, Murgh Tikka Masala, rice and naan. I definitely enjoyed the meal, as everything had an excellent flavor and was delicious. The atmosphere of the restaurant is also quite nice.In terms of price/quality ration, I think this place is really on the higher end of it, relatively affordable prices for tasty meals. I think it is definitely worth it. For my entire meal, I paid around 26€. The only thing that was slightly disappointing was the fact that rice does not come included in the main dish. I understand there are a few other places that do this, but in general, I am more used to have it included in the main dish.Overall, I definitely recommend this place, if you are looking for a very good Indian restaurant with decent prices, delicious food and great ambience.
We went to the restaurant with no reservation and were placed next to the closest table to the entrance. Soon, we realised how uncomfortable that table was (people constantly passing and moving your chairand asked to please change sits asap. Afterwards, we saw couples arriving with no booking and getting good tables despite the fact that we had requested this before. Staff seemed overwhelmed and could not attend us properly.Until now, we had ordered for delivery few times here and I have to admit that their food is amazing. Sadly, this experience may make us consider not ordering or coming back here again.
One of the best restaurants which tastes so authentic. Surprisingly both South and North indian cuisines were better.. Slightly on the expensive side, but would not mind going again.
Liked the food to a great extent. The mysore dosa was spicy but the sambar lacked flavour. The chicken butter chicken was tangier than preferred.Biryani was below average.Garlic Naan could have more garlic.Malai Kulfi was wery good. The gulab jamun and roshogolla was a joke in terms of price.Service was extremely warm.
Truly authentic Indian food. Very delicious. Would definitely recommend it.
Samgam - It means amalgamation in Indian language.Sangam Restaurant in Prague is serving many indian cuisines from North India, South India and desserts from East India. If you are looking for authentic Indian Food in Pravue, I highly recommend Sangam Indian Restaurant. The staff is very amazing and understands the need of customer and serves with happy smile even if it is getting late.It is been more than 2 years for me in Prague and I was craving for authentic food from India, Sangam didnt disappoint me.Recommendation: Mysore Masala Dosa (Spicy), Madras Chicken, Butter Chicken. We got lucky to get complimentary dessert.
I am always surprised by the friendliness of people and the extremely tasty food in these restaurants...wow, really really good food, very elegant and cozy look, decent prices, I highly recommend visiting it for truly amazing Indian food and overall pleasant experience.
Authentic Indian restaurant in Prague..worth visiting for the masala Dosa , manchow soup and indian curries. The restaurant has a indian vibe which adds to the platter.
Best Indian restaurant in Prague. Masala Dosa is a must try here.
Delicious, best and authentic Indian food restaurant in Prague. Very friendly staff and great ambience.
Great service, delicious food. Better to have reservation in advance!Nice atmosphere
A delicious meal with excellent recommendations from Bholanath (ask for him if you’re there). We had Chicken bhuna , tikka masala with some chicken drumsticks (real indo-chineseaccompanied with lip smacking Naan bread. A wonderful ambience with well-trained staff. I’d highly recommend this restaurant.
extremely good food!! 🥰ive eaten at Indian restaurants before and this one exceeded my expectations. the food was delicious, the staff really nice and friendly.this a great location to enjoy Indian food! if you ever come to Prague it is a must try
If you look for a good Indian food, a nice restaurant, pleasant ambiance and friendly staff you need to visit this restaurant. We had the pleasure to be serve by Bholanath. The food was tasty and nicely serve. I recomed to make a reservation in advance. We had the murgh tikka masala, lamb jalfrezi, rotti and garlic naan.
Great ambience , well trained staff and good food. Although the food quantity DOES NOT match the price. Im Indian myself and I ordered an Indian desert that wasnt on the menu, suggested by the waiter himself and I wasnt informed about the price and was naturally not keen to know it as I estimated it by seeing other desert prices which were ON the menu, at the end I was shocked to discover the price. Trust me I couldve eaten A WHOLE NEW meal from just the desert. The picture below is Rasmalai for one piece they charge 155 krowns. Which is ridiculous.
The food is so amazing.. we had dosas and indo chinese food, it reminds us of home. the presentation of food is very amazing, customer service is great. Waiters are so patient and helping. The ambience is also great. All in all 10/10. Must visit!
Super nice staff! The food was perfect. Remember to order rice with your food, its not included when you order a curry.
Absolutely delightful Indian food. Although on the pricier side, you get what you pay for - great quality and taste. Minor constructive feedback - add more papadoms and sauces for the price, or offer them for free - customers are willing to pay more for good food, and youre getting it back with other dishes.Lamb vindaloo extra spicy, king prawn, spinach paneer, totally worth it.
I have tried Indian food in a lot of Pragues restaurants, Sangam has one of the most luxurious dining experiences in the city.(+Quite broad cuisine offerings.(+Classy interiors and super comfortable seating.(+Service-friendly staff(+Kulfi (dessertis the highlight.(-Quite pricey.(-Forced reviewing by the staff. We were made to submit reviews on TripAdvisor before leaving the restaurant, which left a stain on otherwise a classy experience.
Very delicious food. But the staff were a bit strange. They were sweet. But I was wearing a top that showed some of my side and they asked me to cover up. And the whole evenings experience was strange. Not the nicest atmosphere. The food was very tasty though.
