A park by the book. A small brook , a play ground, shaded path for walking and strollers, and a cafe with sweet bakes and ice-cream.

A nice park with a lot varieties of vegetation. It is close to the Sandnes city. There are playground for children, a small cafe og different paths for walking, cycling and running. There is also a stream running through the park and gives a great atmosphere.

Amazing place. Cycling and a playground for the little ones. And a little kiosk to buy some buns, coffee and ice cream

Its a beautiful park very close to Sandnes sentrum. There is a lovely walking path, play area for children, a little pond, benches to sit or have picnic, a little icecream shop, toilets. Its beautiful place to spend some time in nature, calm and in peace. Its great for children as they can freely run around and play in the playground. This park is easily reachable by bus or train as the bus stop and train station is closer. Would recommend to anyone who loves nature, peace, calm and quite place to relax and enjoy with family

Paradise in the middle of Sandnes city, playgrounds, exercise park, planet facts and loads more. Highly recommend it for family activities.

Fantastic place to go for a walk. Has nice views, children playground, outdoors training equipment, and while walking you can learn the solar system planets in the correct order 😉

Nice place to go feed the ducks and go for a walk. There is a lovely playground and a café that sells cinnamon buns on Saturdays and Sundays (12-16)

The trail in Sandved Park follows Storåna and is suitable for everyone.The area located in the middle of the city quickly gives you the feeling of being out in nature. Here you can hear the birds kvitre and the pelvis tickle on their way to the fjord. You do not have to go long before you can sit down. Children can play at several playgrounds along the way and there are many benches along the river from Sandnes to Ganddal. The park has both large forests and curving river. This tour stops at Sørbøtunet, but the hiking trail continues all the way to Ganddal. The trip is one of several center-based hiking trails in Sandnes, which has been chosen because even those sitting in a wheelchair or carrying a pushchair are able to complete the trip. The tours are not marked, so please include the map or smartphone. The tours are determined in cooperation between Sandnes municipality, Stavanger Tourist Association and the Council for Persons with Disabilities.

This park has "everything". A small kiosk, several playgrounds, many benches. A river with ducks and life.Places too sit and just watch nature, or other people. Training equipment and further more.

Decent park. Relatively wild to be an urban park, yet there are playgrounds and benches around.

I like very much..even walking/cycling in the rainy time I dont really mind..the place was refreshing and relaxing most specially in summer time. There were place for the kids (fantastic park)and also for an adult(exercise equipment)that they can used. Its really good for those people who likes to walk/jogging. If you never been there you must better visit the place. Really recommended.

Nice narrow city park with outdoor exercise equipment and a creek running through it. The to-scale models of the sun and the planets in the Galaxy are a particularly nice touch.

Nice park but as you get south in the park is becomes very narrow. Wish the city would clean the river once a year. Bikes, trash and shippingcarts can be observed.
