We had reservations for dinner yesterday. It was very busy with a large party but we still got great personal attention. The food was excellent and I had quite the choice of options to eat gluten free. Great atmosphere. Definitely recommend them. I recommend making reservations because you dont want to miss it.

Friendly staff, romantic atmosphere and delicious food.My wife and I celebrated our anniversary here with a 5pm reservation. She ordered the Gnocchi with meatballs and I got the four cheese lasagna. Both items hit the spot and so we enjoyed them very much.The restaurant offered us a complimentary tiramisu cake to celebrate and that was a very nice gesture - thank you!We will visit again the next time we are in Port Colborne.

Awesome!! I called to see if reservation needed as it was later on a Friday. Almost fully booked (no doubt), asked how many and I said I was coming alone was then told no worries as a seat at the bar would be held for me. Got there 25 minutes later and there it was waiting for me. The service was impeccable (think I met almost every serverand they were all super friendly. But now lets get to the food.....Again Awesome! Had the Escargot San Marco and they were probably the best I have ever had. Followed that with veal parmigiana & Gnocchi light and fluffy and half came home with me, as it was too much for one night. Definitely coming back soon.

Theres nothing not to like about San Marcos. The staff are all so friendly and very attentive. The food is delicious!!!

Awesome service and delicious Italian cuisine with fresh pasta

The food here is so delicious, pasta is homemade and servers are friendly and efficient. We were visiting Port Colborne for 3 nights by boat and had dinner here 2 of the nights!

Excellent crab cakes....the gnocchi are home made...always visit when in town...

This little hidden gem within Port Colborne, where the food is authentic and delicious and the staff are incredible. I went there with my partner for our anniversary and had Jennifer as our server. She was so friendly, was always checking up on us and even gave us a free dessert which was an incredible Lemoncello tiramisu! Highly recommend this restaurant!

Ron and I enjoyed a wonderful dinner tonight at San Marcos Ristorante on Clarence St in Port Colborne.Ron had linguine and meatballs and I had the stacked eggplant veal parmesan that you can cut with a fork.Everything was served hot and delicious.Our server Jen took the time to explain the different beer San Marcos carry and Ron tried one from their brewery Breakwall Brewering and it was so smooth he will definitely have it again.Thankyou Monica for a wonderful experience, both in food beer and service.Ron and Paula PotterAug. 6 2022

My favourite restaurant, stacked beet salad, the best....and of course, lasagna, loved it.

The food is so delicious.Nice presentation ,hot on your plate!A little slow , it took a bit over half an hour to get our food, 2 persons.Our server Jennifer was very pleasant.

First class place for fresh pasta of all kinds. Great service , great atmosphere with a superb selection of great wines. Highly recommended.

Our meals were over cooked and the Lobster bisque was not creamy enough.

First time here, I tried the Pollo rose trecce and my wife had the gnocchi and meatballs, we finished off with the deep fried gnocchi. All of it was so good and would order again. The whole experience was great, our server was awsome. Cant wait wait to go back.

If you like Italian you cant go wrong. Its a small cozy place with good home cooked food.

We just had an Appetizer and drink at the bar… The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was romantic! We ordered calamari and had a glass of wine it was amazing. We have also ate dinner in the past and always enjoyed the food

I had their pasta and it was really good definitely worth going to the restaurant if you like Italian food try them out.

The plexy glass between the tables made us feel safe. Food was FANTASTIC and our waitress was great. We supported you through the pandemic by ordering takeout. But it felt really good to come in and sit down for a meal.

Best Italian food in the area. Great service, martinis, and everyone loved their entres. Ceasar salad was the best Ive ever had. Ill be back soon.

Weve been for dinner twice in the past week and have been impressed both visits. Very friendly staff and owners and a really comfortable dining setting right in downtown Port Colborne. The food is PHENOMENAL. Veal. Pasta. Salads. Trust me, if youre looking for some tasty Italian in a cozy setting, this is the spot.

Stopped in on Sunday evening and lucked out with no reservation...havent been there in a while due to Covid etc.....Again fantastic service, food quality, menu and bar. The new renovations are very nice. Our favourite place for a very nice meal and evening out.

Really enjoyed our dinner! We ordered the chicken Picante and fettuccine Napoli. Both were really tasty! Ill definitely be back! The restaurant put up plastic dividers between the tables which was nice. The night we went the patio was full, so Id recommend getting reservations. Overall very impressed with this Port Colborne Italian restaurant!

My wife and l had dinner she had the cod stuffed with shrimp and l had the veal chop.Both dishes were delicious.We had the calamari as a start and they were done on point.To top off our dinner we had a really nice server Melissa.Melissa and San Marcos thanks for a real nice dining experience. Tried San Marcos for the first time tonight, ordered the gnocchi and meatballs for take out. Food was ready in a decent amount of time and hot when I got home. Yummy food, decent price, and very friendly staff!

Never been disappointed with the food. Wife and I eat here all the time! Can be a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for. Some of the best Italian cuisine in Port. They know what theyre doing.

Absolutely amazing. Aside from the excellent food and service, the owners are incredibly sweet! My husband spilled his wine glass and they not only cleaned it up, but replaced it with a full glass of wine and offered to even make new food (not needed but they nearly insisted). Unbelievably sweet and a lovely experience. Highly recommend!

Good but not great and not authentic Italian.Had the French onion soups and it was good.The Eggplant Parmigiana was a thin slice of Eggplant breaded both sides and fried like Veal Parmigiana. Definitely not what was expected having eaten this many times in Italy.Wine (redwas very warm, not served at the correct temperature.There was no espresso machine - therefore does not qualify as an Italian restaurant.Not recommended nor will go back.

Excellent service. Small quiet atmosphere. Timely service with very friendly staff. Escargot was to die for. Meals were very good, excellent flavour with generous portions. We will definitely be back. And would recommend this restaurant for tasty italian fare. Thanks

Great food , good service but not so nice if you have a a table of eight loud, rude people who think that they are the only ones in the restaurant. Ruined a lovely Mothers day dinner. Had to shout across the table to speak to my wife or wait till they stopped talking which wasnt vey long.. Spoke to staff after, they have no policy about noise as I suggested that they need to speak to groups like that. This group of people were from Ridgeway by the Lake where they have more money that manners! Possibly looking for another restaurant.

Really awesome Italian restaurant. We had our wonderful pre-Easter family dinner here. Enjoyed the food and service a lot. Our server is wonderful and attentive too. I personally recommend this place.

Great Italian restaurant. We stopped in one night to check out the place and were pleasantly rewarded with a perfect evening. The food was perfect..and Jen #1 was amazing. She was on fire with serving and pouring drinks until at least an hour after we arrived. She was a great part of the evening. We will definitely be back!

Excellent service. Hot, flavorful abundant meals. Seated immediately without a reservation. Our table of three enjoyed starters consisting of the feature seafood chowder with potato and pancetta (incredibly delicious and layered with flavors). Garlic shrimp with lemon that was the best weve ever had. Dinner consisted of fresh crab cakes with shrimp, the featured beef tenderloin with goat cheese, and chicken picatta with fettuccini Alfredo. The portions were large, served steaming hot, and satisfyingly popping with layers of flavour. The meal was served with a generous basket of complimentary bread and focaccia served with white bean garlic pesto spread - incredibly delicious and fresh. The red wine suggested by our server was exquisite and beautifully complimented the meal. Extremely well done by everyone on staff. The kitchen staff clearly take pride in creating something special for each guest. We are looking forward to a return visit. Our server truly made our evening memorable with outstanding customer service combined with good humour and attention to detail. So very impressive!

Took my mom here tonight for her 87th Birthday!! Service was great, food was plenty and Fantastic!! Jen our server even brought out a piece of cake put for my Mom. 5 stars all around. Thank you for the great experience.

This is a very nice Italian Restaurant. The staff is great and the veal is my favourite dish. We arrived around opening time in late afternoon. It does get noisy when the place is full. Will definitely go again.

Only Italian place Ive ever been to that flavors their homemade sauce with a ham hock. Since all of their pastas are made with the red sauce as a base, this makes it very hard for vegetarians to enjoy a meal there. What we were able to eat was delicious, its too bad they dont have a vegetarian option for their sauce.

The food is AMAZING! We started with the Beet Salad. It was fantastic. Great flavours. I recommend the 3 cheese lasagna. The sauce was so fresh and the noodles of the lasagna melted in your mouth.(And the gnocchi was no slouch either.)The servers were very attentive and the atmosphere was relaxed and cozy.
