San Ceferino - Italian restaurant in Callao, Peru
Excellent food and great service
Excellent! The food was delicious and the place shined welcomingness. My family enjoyed it a lot.
The serving sizes are HUGE! The salmon was great, same with the salad, super fresh. The gnocchi with pesto was supreme! Amazingly good, noteworthy.
Excellent, fresh pasta in a very unique ambience. Highly recommended.
Great restaurant. Th we food was fabulous. The service was great. I had the spaghetti in tomato sauce.
Plates are huge and pricey, but very good
Expensive bit really good food
No doubt when saying that "San Ceferino" is one of the best places for steak andpasta in Lima. Its not only about the foods, its about what you feel while you are having a good time with friends or family. Music, sounds, environment, everything and obviously, the food!
Quite a homely atmosphere with all the walls and ceiling space crowded with old handguns, and empty wine bottles. They really go out there with its variety because the menu is jammed packed with dishes ranging from meats and pasta to all kinds of rices, vegetables options, fish combinations, and many other satisfying meals. No champagne, though. Only Italian bubblies. The French fries are not the best, also. I ordered them with the ossobuco stew. They stay crunchy only for a little while. They are the frozen, cheap kind which then the restaurant can only deep fry for a little while. The restaurant also has to improve the packaging when it delivers food through the Rappi app.
Cool atmosphere and good food.
Very good ambiance and prices. Pastas not the best but the roasted meat was really well done.
If youre not spending more than S/.200 theyll try to get you to leave asap. I went there at 5pm with my partner because he wanted to visit the place for the 1st time. I had lunch before so I just ordered dessert and a drink. He ordered pasta and 1 drink. They came to our table at least 10 times asking if they could remove the plates when clearly I had more than 50% left of my dessert. Im a slow eater and I became very uncomfortable with the treatment. I had one bite of the pasta and it was very salty. Im never coming back. One of the drinks was acceptable tho.
Its perfect harmony Spaghetti and stake here in this restaurant.
Great food, excellent drinks. A bit expensive but good service.
San Ceferino prides itself of having the largest menu (some 70 different dishesamong top Peruvian restaurants. They do have interesting culinary fusions, and they food is surprisingly good despite having such a large and varied offering. Nevertheless, my issue is with the price tag :simply too expensive for a quality of food that can be found elsewhere for less. In short, enjoy, but hold on to your wallet
Very good food, good service. Expensive
The finest International food in the world, located in San Isidro, Lima, Peru.
Cant say a felt home in Italy. Food was also far from a good Italian restaurant
Great service and great food!
The place was really nice, the way how theyve decorated the different rooms is amazing. Its make you feel that you are in rome or other italian place. About the food, my dish was really good, I chose ravioli with pomodoro sauce. Tha plate is huge, but the proportions are normal. About the spaguetti in bechamel sauce, I can say it didnt has anything special, was good, but the price was to high regarding the quality. The glasses of wine tasted really great with the food we chose. Is a goog place to celebrate special moments, I saw many couples in "romantic dinners". About the attention, I was surprise because the waiters and the host were very attentive since our arriving.
Simply one of the best places I have eaten at. The incredible Peruvian influence on Italian favorites is amazing.
Unique ambiente. Great food. 5 star in all respects.
Best pasta place in Lima!!!Ive been looking for an Italian restaurant for so long, and I finally found the perfect one with a twist of fusion in it.This place is a gem, the food its absolutely incredible, every flavour is perfectly match with each other, you will not regret this visit at all!Yes, its pricey, but guess what? ITS ABSOLUTELY WORTHY!Plus the dishes are massive, so you can easily share. The only downside, their drinks werent that good, I was expecting some highlights with the bar but unfortunately there wasnt the case, something they can improve definitely.Overall a must place!
Another of my favorite restaurants, excellent service and food.
Good decor and great food.
I was surprised with the delicious of the Italo-Peruvian Fusion food. Really impressed & the great service of Eduardo and Igancio.♥️ this place !!!
Great Italian restaurant, just watch out plates are huge!
One of my favorite Italian place. The restaurant makes you feel like you are in the pirate ship. hanging rum bottles, old pistols, cutlasses, etc. They have long list of menu but my favorite is carpaccio de paiche. Its true that I go to this place for this dish. This place has huge portions so be prepared to be stuffed when you plan a visit.
Amazing food, friendly staff. Not cheap compared to many Peruvian restaurants, but if you can afford to spend a little bit extra well worth it.
Unique setting Italian style restaurant where you can find Peruvian ingredients and influence. Great friendly staff. Large menu with Italian classics that includes pastas and pizzas. seasonal items on the menu include local crawfish (Camaron). Prices are moderate.
One of the best Italian food restaurant with Peruvian mixes and grill. Youre gonna love it.
Both food and atmosphere are delightful. However I found prices are too high since it is possible to find similar places in Lima.
Delicious food!! Bring your appetite, portions are huge!!!
Great service and great food
Excellent food, good service and great wine
Tasty restaurant with unique decor, but I feel its a little overpriced for Lima. You can find good Italian food anywhere.
Worth every penny. As you walk up to the door, they will open it for you, and speak to you in English or Spanish, depending on your needs and without any complaint or judgment if the former. The dining area is supremely cozy, featuring slightly enclosed areas of several tables each. The decor is incredible: massive wine bottles from around the world are suspended in racks on the ceiling and on the walls, a rifle, pistol, and shotgun collection that would rival any museum’s anywhere in the world (ps, they are labeled and you can ask for a little booklet that identifies them.)The food is perfect, well cooked and carefully plated, you will be very happy with whatever you choose on their expansive menu. We had Causa Volcánica as an appetizer, Ají de Gallina Pizza, and 7-flavor pasta a la carbonara, splitting each between us.We also had pisco sour, a chillando, and ended the meal with a delicious little espresso. The staff were courteous and responsive to our requests, providing suggestions when we asked for them. All in all, we spent about 120 USD at the restaurant where for a similar experience the n the US would have coast us upwards of 250USD.This is not my first time here and it definitely will not be my last. Thank you!!!
Wonderful atmsophere, curiously decorated and fabulously delicious food. A must go place for good memories.
One of the few Italian-Peruvian fusion restaurants active in Lima, there used to be many more. Very good, solid cooking, particularly their pastas. Weirdest decor of any restaurant I think Ive ever been in.
Service was great. Causal setting and good food.
Interesting environment, big amount of dishes, order carefully
Too pricy, lowest 49 soles up to 300 soles. Food is not that amazing to pay that much.
The food is great, very classy, very italian. Large portions that can be share. Low lights, a lot of decoration (too much). The only reason I dont like the place is that you can hear the owner yelling in the kitchen and to the waiters.
Delicious, beautiful restaurant, great service, very large portions, but very pricy
As always, delicious pasta and really good service...Thks San Ceferino for such a great birthday celebration for my dad...
Its a bit pricey and the servings are big enough for two... Very nice birthday treatments by the way
Tasty, and well presented dishes. But beware with the huge rations... Only rivaled by the length of the menu. ;-)
Great selection of Peruvian-Italian dishes. The menu in English offers less variety than the menu in Spanish. If you speak Spanish, ask the service provider to bring the Spanish menu. This is an expensive restaurant for locals as well as tourists from low- to medium-income countries. Youll enjoy whatever dish you get, though. Service is good.
Dark, quiet with large tables and alot of room in between them. Prices are good . Pizza has been excellent every time . They seem to not understand what pepperoni is and that seems strange. I know its "salami " but come on, its pizza !! Pepperoni is universal. And its an Italian restraunt so .....
Food is ok, but management is not that good, they mistreat their employees calling them racist names.
