Samoan Outrigger Hotel in Apia

Fale was so comfortable, excellent breakfast, central location, great for solo travelers and most importantly staff were super lovely and fixed me up with an excellent rental car. Thank you and will definitely be back soon.

Absolutely the friendliest place in Apia, kind staff, always helpful, and willing to share the nooks and crannies with travelers. Good size rooms in a lovely, historic villa, beautiful garden, cool, and refreshing pool. Easy, cheap transport by bus(daytime), or taxi(24/7). Kid-friendly. I can highly recommend it to all.

Old, wooden floors make a lot of noise, nice supplied breakfast, no bar area

Clean, well appointed and quiet premises. The owner is incredibly nice and the staff are welcoming and friendly. The pool is immaculately clean and is very refreshing during a hot day. We very much enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it to others.

My time in the Outrigger Hotel (5Nights):○Fale for two person=enough space= mosquito net= locker○Bathroom= clean○Kitchen= 24h open= have everything you need○Breakfast= 7-9am= toast, pancakes, fruits, eggs, juice,coffe= a good start everyday in the day○Location= 20min walking to the main area= 05min driving○Staff= very friendly= helpfull= polite○Housekeeping= change all of my sheets after two days= make the bed every morning= did a really good jobIn total is this place a really good place to stay in Apia. For enjoying the time and work on your tan on the pool.

It was okay

I stayed at this hotel last year for almost 2 weeks.The rooms are kept simple and clean, the garden is beautiful and the breakfast is delicious (coffee, fresh fruits, toast, eggs and great pancakes).The staff and the managers are very lovely people, they are always there to answer your questions and are very friendly.The reception is opened 24/7 you can always buy a cold drink or a code for the Wifi.You can also rent a car here.There is a shop on the other side of the street and there are some great restaurants not so far away.I loved everything about this place! I hope I can visit Samoa again some day and when I do i stay at the Outrigger hotel again.Warm Regards from Germany!Robert

Awesome staff, friendly and welcoming

A great and affordable hotel in Apia. Rooms and bungalows are available. One of the more famous places to stay while visiting Samoa. Centrally located and safe. Stayed there several times and never encountered any issues. Met many people and still remember all these medical students doing their internship in Samoa while staying at Outrigger. Next time Im in Apia, will surely book again at Outrigger.

Loved my 5 days/nights at the Outrigger! I stayed in one of the 4 Fale rather than a room in the building. It was the perfect Samoa experience. The staff could not possibly be nicer and more helpful. The breakfast is included, and all the guests while I was there interacted with each other, and gave each other travel tips. Theres no question that I would stay there again if I get to return to Samoa.

Stayed a couple of nights here. A shadow of its former self. Indifferent staff, room fridge didnt work, and front porch flooded after a brief shower of rain. That said, rooms are comfortable enough with a good hot shower, and the gardens are pretty. Now on a busy corner with traffic noise, and the work-out sessions in the gym across the road are loud with doof-doof music! Better options elsewhere.

Ive stayed here several times over the years. Decent hotel at reasonable rates. Breakfast usually comes with the room. Nice garden setting, plus a pool for a dip to cool off from the hot, tropical weather. Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast offerings and service have improved over the years. Night watchman is on hand after hours, plus front desk is open 24hours.

Very nice accommodation. The falas are a cool experience, you have to try. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is included and very delicious. Can highly recommend this place.

Very nice hotel with Charm! We stayed in a room and it was very comfy. The outside area with the pool is a relaxed Oase and invites to hang out. The staff is friendly, flexible and helpful. They prepared a very early take away breakfast because our flight left so early! Thanks, Outrigger, hope to be one day back at your lovely place.

Très bel hôtel proche du centre ville. Le jardin est superbe et agréable. Possibilité de dormir en chambre ou en fale avec salle de bain commune. Nous avons logé en fale pendant 3 nuits, confortable mais prévoir des boule quies cat Les environs peuvent être bruyants. Bon rapport qualité prix même si on trouve moins cher en ville. Service agréable et personnel au petit soin, bon petit déjeuner qui change chaque jour. Je recommande !

Great location easy walk to city center

Stayed for two weeks in 2016, Was not greatly satisfied upon our arrival, it was as though they had forgotten we were arriving , the advertising pictures were a bit of a let down ,whilst the staff were helpful and friendly and the price of accommodation reasonable I would not book another stay.

My mum n her sisters wer there for a week! They love the place! Staffs really friendly ! The owner really friendly ! Very quite! Clean!
