Samburgers in Lubbock

Found this place by accident because we were going to El ranchito down the road but they closed an hour early so we ended up here. Not disappointed at all. Everything was hot and freshly made. The prices are really good too.Update! We dont get to go often because were 30 minutes away and the hours usually dont match up with our schedule but when we do make it its always good. We went today and my husband and I both agree, its the best burger in town. Burgers are seasoned, buns are toasted, onion rings basically melt in your mouth, and they carry pepsi sodas. Only thing I could see improving is the fries. They arent bad, they taste the same as every other small burger joint, but I think theyd be better salted right out of the fryer. Salt packets are included but it doesnt stick quite as well as freshly salted. Seasoning salt would be a game changer, just throwing that out there since no one in this town seems to use it like where Im from lol

It was yummy. Better than Cristakis but not as great as others. Not sure what the issue is in Lubbock, but it seems like everybody here prefers flat skinny burgers. I would really like to find a place with a big thick juicy one!

Went to this place when I was at Coronado High and still go. They haven’t skipped a beat..still delicious, not too pricey, fresh and fast service. Keep it up!

Very good old fashion hamburger joint. Customer service is great. My only complaint is they are only open 3 hours a day.

Imma give it there 3 stars.Used to be 5 stars when the fella and the Miss were available at the window.Now they got a fella kinda rude looks like that singer Billie Ellish.My friend said the same hes an electrician.Said the guy was rude was surprised to hear his wife agree with him.He certainly doesnt fit what folks have been used too

Absolutely my go to place for a great burger. I drive from near the airport to this place anytime I want a good old fashioned greasy burger. Been going there for decades.

One of the few places in Lubbock we can go and they always remember us and exactly what we want to order. My absolute favorite place for a simple, amazing cheeseburger. The prices are great.If I had any complaint, it would be the hours. We often get a craving to come here but we work mostly in the evenings so rarely get a chance. The dining room closes early and I dont like to do take-out.

Samburgers always has great service and great burgers! If you are ever looking for a good local place to have a good burger, this is definitely a place to go! It doesnt have much seating on the inside but you can still get to it on the go!

When Samburgers is open, its a great place to get a meal. The service is great and not a long wait time!

It was delicious! The buns on the burger was toasted perfectly. As were the tots. They were not greasy and everything tasted fresh. The cook has a work ethic that is out of this world. If you havent been there, I would recommend it! The best thing about this place is, they are opened during lunch time and close when they sell out usually they sell out before 2 PM because the meat the serve is cooked fresh daily.

Love them burgers. Now those are old fashion burgers. Just wish they stay open longer hours. Go eat a burger there.

Whent there way before it said they closed and they where already closed how you gunna say that you close at 2:30 and are closed at 1:20 would of gave them a better rating if was givin the chance to eat there.

Been coming to Samburgers for years. And they are the best hamburgers and frys or onion rings in town. And the owner Wayne makes his customers feel welcome. And you dont pay a fortune. We wont go anywhere eles.

This place has been in Lubbock for a long time. I used to eat there when I was a kid. It is still the best burger place in town. They have the traditional greasy hamburger that you dream about. Their onion rings are also awesome. Anything I have ever eaten there has been outstanding. The service also great. The staff is always friendly and helpful.

My husband and I love this place! It has become our favorite friendly neighborhood burger house, great food and friendly staff.

The burgers were really soggy and wet. The tator tots were very very crispy. The fries were good, and customer service was good. I asked for Mayo no pickles or onion and received mustard, pickles, onions.. The food would be great if the burgers werent wet.

Wonderful food. Incredibly friendly staff. Only open for lunch through early afternoon until they run out.

Service is friendly and quick to help. Wait time is more than acceptable for the quality of burger. Build it the way you you want it and a good old fashioned burger is delivered shortly after.

Today was my first visit to Samburgers and Im regretting that I waited so long to try them out. The people are friendlier, service quicker, food better tasting and less expensive than the other burger place (p*tesjust up the road where Ive been foolishly spending my money.

Got the big sam burger. That thing was huge. Meat quality perfect and fresh and hot. and the vegies where super fresh as well. Great hometpwn place for a burger. I like it better than jumbo joes.
