A menu of traditional Kashmiri fare in a restaurant in simple surrounds & a homey vibe.
Third class . if you dont tale care of order . they try to cheat you by making extra bill. And when you want explaination they do not show cctv footage to you. Try to fight with you
Slower than a snail. Come here and spoil your mood. The fish finger tasted fine though.
Great place for Kashmiri cuisine. However, the service could be better. Many options for non-veg dishes. Suitable for relaxed visits.
Quite place , Cheap food and drinks , Less staff for service Kashmiri dishes are unique and tasty
Zero attention to the new clients. We came and sit and after 15 minutes and asking 3 times for the menu we left the place. Looks like they are not interested in earning money.
Awesome place and Delicious foodOne of the best Kashmiri delicacies here in NCR with very courteous staff and absolutely amazing serviceWe enjoyed so much from starters to soup to drinks to Main course and very pocket friendly
So bad taste doesn’t feel like kashmiri dish
Pathetic service standards.... Waited 45 mins for starters... Then we waited further for the main course.... Most of the items had gone cold when they were served at the table
The food was just wow. The ambience is good. Lighting was also adequate. Hence, this place provides you with a ideal venue if you are looking for a place to talk and interact with your friends or family over food and drinks. The place gets crowded at times and service may thus be a bit slow, but the food makes up for all of it.
Good facility. Visited an exhibition in their hall. But limited parking parking space inside the premise.
Not good quality of mutton and preparation also bad..How Samavar has gone from best to bad to worse over the years is a matter of concern for its owner..
Invited there in a party. The indian starters were really bad in taste. Main course was OK. Not recommending this place for parties.
Excellent food, decent prices, spacious environment with tall ceiling. Your typical neighborhood spot for good food with alcohol..
This is one of the best kashmiri restaurants in delhi, where you will get authentic kashmiri food made by kashmiri pandits
Discovered this gem on a random Thursday. Great snacks and legendary drink prices. Feels like a reminder of old school Delhi restaurants.
The management is total disgrace, we placed order around 8:30pm and Im writing this review at 9:18pm still our order is nowhere, we left the restaurant.
Pretty spacious place with a close proximity to the metro station for small get together
I used to love this place for best kashmiri wajwan but these day the test and quality seems to be lowered.
Taste will not be found good if you are not familiar to Kashmiri Food Culture. Its a totally Kashmiri Restro with bar facility. Just a space where you can organise large official get-togethers
Please dont visit this place and ruin it. It is Delhis best kept secret for people who hate loud pubs. Let us have our peace, please.
Awful experience on 15th may 2022.Some media guy with family of around 10-15 people were there for dinner & entire workforce was catering to that group & not bothering for other customers including my family of 5 .The kashmiri non veg dishes like rista, gushtaba ,etc were not available for other guests.Service was poor & Even half of our order was not served though we had gone after confirming reservation & kashmiri dishes availabilty. The owner was also very casual to others & only concentrating on one group from media.Though i complained to owner but he did not pay any heed as if he was doing a favour by opening a restaurant.Such haughty behaviour & service I have not come across in any private owned restaurant.Better avoid.
I visited Matamaal,Kyen Chen restaurant but all I can say is Samavar is best. Best hospitality, taste, Atmosphere.Specially my appreciation for the boy who attended us(I believe his name is Mukesh from Sikkim. All the best to Samavar team .
Nice authentic Kashmiri food. But lack of staff leave a big scope of improvement. best wishes
Pathetic. One guy attending about 100 customers. The waiter himself agreed they are understaffed. One hour before someone took order. The food was worst when we finally got it. Still recovering from it. Do not even think about ordering kashmiri dishes. Prepared by cooks from Jharkhand, there is nothing kashmiri about them.Never visiting again
I wish there was something less than one star, the service is sad and bad, the food is bad, the owner Kichloo is the worst owner I have seen ever.He interferes in small things and he will turn off the lights when guests are around and not turn on the AC in peak Delhi summers. This place is absolutely not worthy of going if you are booking for family functions and a disaster.Their is a reason why matamaal is single handidly eating up their entire business, they want to take the money in advance but would not provide you the service.Sad Sad place to be
Samavar is the worst place I have been to attend function,I went yesterday as a guest and was disturbed by seeing the services.Even when the host of the function had paid everything in advance the services lacked quality, food was cheap class and services were below par.In addition the owner of the place kept fighting with guests over petty things like electricity and food.I have never seen in my life a restaurant owner turn off the lights in the mid of meal while people are eating.AC was deliberately turned off and had to eat food in heat. They gave silly excuses for not serving the snacks after 9 and upon asking the reason cited government regulations. On asking the proof of regulations, the owner Mr.kichloo started a fight.Extremely bad place to be, please avoid it unless bare necessary.
Good place to spend your leisure time over there,as the place is pocket friendly, food quality is ok, its good place for guys, but not for family.Must visit single guys and ok for couples.
I would say this has the best butter chicken in Delhi.
Authentic kashmiri food. A full spread both veg & non- veg. Try for sure. Ample parking. For small functions hall too is available. A cozy restaurant inside serving kashmiri delicacies. If anyone is interested in dry kashmiri breads, one can have in plenty. 5 stars
Cheap nonveg , clumped up place, too noisy but very economical. Good upgrade to a Dhabha ! Nice Kashmiri Authentic food.
People who wants to taste Kashmiri dishes in GK / Nehuru Place, one of the finest place is Samavar ! Spacious and reasonable place to chill out. Won’t be available much options and sea food but will have multiple options for chicken, Mutton, Fish and veggie. Right place for to mix with best cocktails.
Had heard much about this place and was expecting an authentic Wazwaan. But was highly disappointed. Not only the service was very pathetic, even the dishes lacked variety of aroma, the taste or presentation. My host makes far far better Kashmiri cuisine at her home.
Very nice place, ambiance is okay and food quality is fine compared to price. Parking space is available within compound. Good place to chill with friends and colleagues.
Nice place.. get yourself a drink.. decent crowd.. go with your group or alone.. doesnt matter .. nice menu with veg and non veg dishes soups are available.. affordable place and menu
Being in the heart of South Delhi location is ok but resturant staff is too lazy. If you want to spoil your occasion or celebration than this is the best resturant for that. One of the worst services I have seen in my life. They will prepare food when your guests are waiting for that and they make you wait until you will not screw them.
This is a the best restaurant in Srinagar for authentic and tastiest kashmiri food. The servers are seasoned and courteous. Its a must to visit their bakery for walnut brownies and cream rolls.
Nice place for small get together, office parties, quite and calm ambiance.
Pathetic service, Pathetic vegetarian food. No taste at all. Must avoid this place when u want to do some function like engagement or birthday Party. Its so called kashmiri restaurant. Not worth at all. They need to improve there service necessarily and also they need to change there vegetarian cook.
Very tasty authentic kashmiri food, cheap booze, dont expect it to be fancy restaurant, its just a 90s gem hidden in the corner.Servers have good hospitality skills and guide you for food ordering and anything else.Menu is multi cuisine but i would recommend to try kashmiri food.Pricing and portions are quite goodIne has to bear with the aroma of booze hiting straight to nostrils while entering, nevermind you will be accustomed to it in 5- 10min.Its a family restaurant with decent crowd
Quite and simple place, good parking space in front of the club. Good if you want to hold beers and watching any sports.. Service and food are good. One should visit this place for corporate meetings with affordable menu.
We had Kashmiri thali which was amazing . Worth a try . Good parking inside and cozy place .
This is Kashmiri Restaurant, It serves liquor and situated in Greater Kailash. the quantity of food is awesome and the offer they have with the Liquor is amazing.
Located in Pampaosh Enclave , Greater Kailash 1 .This place won’t disappoint you . Cheap and best food . Really really cheap drinks .Good parking !
Very good economical and family atmosphere.
The pace is just opposite to Greater Kailash police station. The place is good for kashmiri community. They have ample parking space a Bar and a banquet hall. Not so good not so bad kind of food quality. You will get new discount schemes on liquor on everyday basis.
Simply an awesome place. Dont go on the kind of entrance they have with some very washed out color board.Inside you go and its a total change. Amazing authentic food.Drinks are very CHEAP! Cant beat the statement anywhere.Do not try Frnech Fries, they are not good at it but yes, try some Gravy Dishes and u vl fall in love.Must try Mutton Yakhni. It s is very delectable.
Best kashmiri authentic cuisine great ambience but the delivery was slow. But if one is looking for actual kashmiri delicacies, this is the right place i mean a bit of waiting is qorth it
Went to this place with my family for dinner after hearing a lot about the Authentic kashmiri dishes.Ordered a few starters mutton khabarga , mutton tikka and veg corn soup. ( it was cooked properly but the dishes had no taste to it had to sprinkle a lot of chaat masala on it... tikka was basically mutton seekh kabab into pieces ).Got total 8 papads (4*2complimentary.Ordered roghan josh ( was basically mutton in red gravy).Even though the staff was really polite but the service was way too slow and had to wait a lot.The place has a really big parking space and it’s Good for gossiping and sipping beers with starters or nuts.
Good quality kashmiri food. Nice ambience. Friendly staff and alcohol rates are reasonable
A very nice place to visit especially if you love kashmiri food... Moreover, this place also offer liquor at very economical price... Must visit for tasting new reciepes...
