Contemporary whisky bar with an Indian food menu and an outdoor shisha patio.
Good Food, Sheesha, Alcohol, Music,People.
Good starters. Kebabs and Lamb chops are a must try. Aloo chaat will remind you chaat you get it in India. Curries were OK so was the biryani. Place could really do a good decor to get the desi vibe. Prices are little over.
Went with my nieces as one of them had just done a personal best at London Marathon, so a bottle of bubbly was called for! We went to a neighbouring restaurant that didnt have a bar but sent us to the Salt Whisky. We had no regrets. The food was inexpensive but delicious, the portions were generous, the service outstanding and the wonderfully discreet waitress helped me win the race to pay the bill. 😀Our visiting guests totally enjoyed their food too. This place is a gem! 5 stars all the way!!
Good food drinks but sheesha average
We stumbled across this wonderful Indian restaurant and the service and food very flavorful and wonderful.
This is my go to place. Love the food there. The bhel puri and chilli chicken are a must try. Their chilli chicken was my constant pregnancy craving. A nice place to relax with a pot of mint tea. As an Indian I can say their Indian cuisine is authentic.
Indian food is delicious. One of my favorite indian restaurants in London.
Amazing service! Tasty food! Good drinks selections!Indian Food, Whiskey, shisha! What more can you ask for!!
Such a live place and delicious food specially aalloo tikki chaat
Used to like this place a lot. Came back and very disappointedFood quality is disgusting, all the good taste and flavour is no more, service is very poor and still charge a 12.5% service chargeAsked for a VAT receipt and only got a bill without any breakdown or anything, when asked they said this is the only receipt.Would never come back and would tell everyone to find a better place to spend your money
The best Indian food Ive ever eaten. Friendly staff and fantastic service
It was amazing environment.I work next to it but I didnt know about it. But really had a good time with amazing Bollywood music.
They have decent Shisha and the staff is generally friendly. One little downer is that you cannot pay for a Shisha with card.Good place to chill around Edgware Road
Ambience is ok, not very kid friendly. Food taste is good not outstanding, portions could use some work. Overall an OK restaurant if going out with friends. Sheesha setup really needs improvement.
Very nice place for drinks shisha and food everyone welcome 🙏
Good place for Shisha and Indian starters. Chaat was really good and starters (indianwere alright - not to the point.
Fantastic night after pearl jam, really friendly staff, and great atmosphere.
Currently there are works around the place, so I do not recommend staying at the terrace.
Be aware as you might be attacked by bouncer there without reason.Last night me and our friends went there, had few drinks and once we left the place we got attacked by at least 3 bouncers as allegedly we did not pay for the bill. My friend tried to explain the situation showing bank app statement but those guys were like deaf and did not want to listen to us. Very aggressive. They took my back pack. After few minutes some kind of a manager there confirmed we did pay for the bill and they let us go. Horrible experience. Avoid the place and keep the receipt just in case.
Its a good place, lively. Lot of whiskey options and outside seating Sheesha. A bit expensive though
I was enjoying a small family reunion in the Edgware Road. After leaving a very pleasant pub we ventured up and down looking for a restaurant that served food and booze. No joy, until we reached the Salt. Here they pride themselves in their whiskey selection. Yes, there is Indian whiskey. We, however, settled for food and wine. Which was good. So was the service and ambience. I pass this bar often and there is always a good group of socialites outside. I like this restaurant/bar, Ill pop in more often now.
The food was good. One of the best dining places in London, specially for Asians. Service is appreciated.Location is great.
We Walked in for dinner in a Wednesday night and was busy found the table finally . The waitress , couldn’t have been nicer. She was quick, efficient and friendly. She helped recommend something for my dinner and the Chilli paneer didn’t disappoint! I even returned the next afternoon for lunch had Dalmakhani , Lamb Biriyani, got tasty food and similar service!. I am from India the food has a same taste from back home.My whole family loved it. It was a gem I found and can’t wait to return next year.
We got to the place and they had quite a few places to sit. When we sat down and tried to order shisha, they wanted us to order 2 shishas for 3 people even though we only wanted one and were happy to order drinks and food
Good sheesha and Indian food - only downside is that it is cash only
I rarely have a bad experience anywhere but this wasa disaster. We visited yesterday at around 7pm. Badcustomer service. Sat down ourselves, got the menusourselves, even tap water didnt come until asked foragain after food arrived. On top of that, the food wasnot great at all we are happy we didn’t order more. We ordered paneer wrap which was flavourless, dry, lacked in everything such as salt, chilli, general seasoning. Some paneer pieces were hard and uncooked. Even the table next to us had toask for some chilli sauce, in which the sauce thatarrived was super mild. The restaurant has hugepotential with the right customer service and chef. When told gentle feedback the waiter was gettingdefensive as if he was eating the food or as if he hadmade it himself which topped off the bad experience. Regret not taking a picture to actually show you how uncooked and unseasoned the paneer was.The only good thing there was the music but genuinely any other place would have been better than this. Really disappointing since we wanted to try something new.
as an Indian Im always on tenterhooks about going to Indian places in London - far too often they lack the flavours from back home. But Salt really is your Indian fix away from India - the tandoori chicken i had (basic yes i know but also the surest form of testwas without a single fault! the staff are hard-working deep into the night and very courteous. must visit if youre in the area!
Horrible experience.. many hidden charges, service charges, cocktails have no alcohol… very impolite staff and service.. really rude staff.. force you to take sheeshas if u want to sit outside..
Nice place to go to when it’s already after 11pm so when other places got closed this one has the doors wide open. Nice interior and it was a bit busy so i love it, that’s how it should be. Prices are right and the service is good. Outdoors you can order a Shisha so you have quite few options to choose from. For me it was a great third place to go before heading back home 🏠 nice vibe there 😃
The food is very good at this place and the cocktails are amazing too. However the staff is very slow and also unfriendly. I asked our waitress if she forgot about our drinks because they were taking forever and she raised her voice and said „no, i didn‘t. they are coming just wait“ but then she actually did forget one drink and we had to order again and it was just annoying. I wish they would hire friendlier staff.
Best Indian food served in and around west london (Marble arch areaand food is available later than the time regular restaurants serve it…Besides this it has sheesha so just the cherry on top!!! Lovely music… awesome cocktails.. loved the old monk special cocktail!!
One of the best dining places in London, specially for Asians. Service is appreciated. Cleanliness is good. Food is freshly prepared and tasty. Location is great.
My husband and I travel to London once a year because of his work. After shopping or sightseeing, we’d usually end up at Edgware Road to grab a bite and relax with some shisha. After trying out other expensive places on the strip, we discovered this place over the weekend. The music, the crowd, everything was just attracting us to check the place out. We sat down after 20 mins or so, and realized the shisha was cheaper but good, the music was good and it was probably the only crowded place on the street. After that first visit, every time we’re in London, we always go here. Awesome place to relax and unwind.
Stylish interior, service was very fast. Both the food and cocktails were fantastic.
The food was good. However, we had a member of staff sitting besides us smoking sheesha and then another couple. It would have been fine if we were asked. We had come for a Birthday Dinner and it was a special night however it was ruined when we had random people sitting beside us.We paid more than £100 and a better service was expected. It would have been okay if it was a weekend but it was Wednesday night. It just downgraded the whole experience. The food was good however I would not return again given the level of service at a high priced restaurant.
A great bar and restaurant with kind staff, a good choice of drinks and amazing Indian food. The food is genuinely one of the best in london for Indian Cuisine.
When I saw the name, I was quick to judge. Normally bars serve average food however it’s not the case with this place. The ambience felt as if I’m going to see the godfather. Interior is dark, you can see the bottles at the bar and good music is playing. If you’re up there only for a drink, I’m sure you’ll enjoy it- but that’s not all, the food!We were planning to go elsewhere however one of us ordered food anyways, and it was a blessing! What surprised me the most was the basic jeera aloo! The flavours were just spot on!The paani of the paani puri just as I would make it at home, and the mix grill, the meat was juicy, soft, succulent and flavour! It is great food! Definitely worth trying - warning though that it’s on the pricy side.
Really good drinks and food menu. Will definitely go back.
Good ambiance. Food is good too, not too many varieties still a decent menu. A bit on expensive side. Book the table in advance for friday and weekends. Service is good.
Best Indian food. Wish they had their hookah but otherwise such a good sell
The food was definitely very tasty and the quantity was sufficient as well but the drinks are very pricey and this excuse of "Oh its central london so it has to be expensive" does not work with this place. I would recommend this place for the food but if you want to drink elsewhere please do cause £12-£14 for a drink here is worthless as you can get one for the same price at the Shard and the view alone will justify that price over there. The servers were helpful which is always a great sign for a restaurant.
Amazing place with a really centric view while having Shisha. Also, the quality of their service is remarkable. This is definitely a must go.
Very good food. I ordered Indian food and my husband ordered fish and chips.
Love the food, the service and the shisha. Im now a regular there...
Lovely food. Located on the Edgware Road. We tried fish and chips, lamb roghan josh and tandoori platter. The overall experience was very good.
Very good service and food quality and taste.

Excellent bar with great range of whiskeys and lovely Indian food. Outside you can get shisha, seating is tight there. Only thing is people walking past and asking you to buy flowers when you sit outside. Cannot be controlled, but otherwise lovely atmosphere.
Its a nice place to enjoy Indian/Pakistani menu. You can also enjoy shehsa there.
Nice place for shisha and food prices are average, outer sitting area /toilet services are not working half of the time
