Salsa Fresca Mexican Grill in Peekskill

Big fan of the burritos and quesadillas from here. Food always tastes fresh and they have a lot of options for fillings and different salsas. Ive noticed they use La Banderita tortillas which is what I buy at the store and really enjoy. Prices are good and they dont have a drive thru so unlike chipotle your not going to have to wait as one employee has to deal with a long line of takeout/dine in customers while there are two other employees only doing drive thru orders.

Im convinced you need an IQ of 5 and poor listening skills to work here. Used to come here quite a bit and it was never this bad. After last night I will definitely not be returning.

Reminds me of Chipotle, but better taste. Nice and fresh and more choices than Chipotle. Highly recommended.

This is a solid Salsa Fresca location. It’s always clean inside and the food is always fresh. Salsa Fresca is probably the best burrito in town. Friendly staff and the rewards program is great too. Can’t go wrong coming here.

Ordered from here online to pick-up. Guy behind the counter shoves a bag at me without saying a word or making eye contact. I check the order and none of the sides we ordered are there. Then, I notice we ordered 5 meals and there are 6 in the bag. Only one burrito is marked. When I tell him he says, "So, give me one back." Im wondering which random burrito to give him, but tell him Im taking them all because Im not going to open them all up to see which isnt mine. Get my sides, dont notice until I get home that none of the sauces were in there either. Also, of the random burritos none of them were the one I particularly ordered. I guess some poor people were shorted a burrito and hopefully they liked my order. Not going back any time soon. Even though the food tasted pretty good even without the sauces.

I love this place, i am stupid i passed it a thousand times but never stopped. Im glad i did. The people here were very friendly and extremely helpful. They even ran out after i left my credit card. But the food was honestly amazing. Thank you all so much!

Food is great but i get charged different prices for the same exact thing. just this Monday they over charged me $19.00 for a meal and a drink. I got the bow, rice & beans, queso, peppers and onions, potatoes, chicken, onions, peppers, cilantro, salsa verde and a small fountain drink.I know my order by list because i always get the same thing and i never paid $19.00. when i called to speak to a manager the person said no manager is here, when i asked when the manager will be he they said they dont know. when i started to explain what happened they hung up.

Always friendly, always clean. Food is always good. Love it here and Yorktown.

Nothing to complain about here. Standard Salsa fresca. Food always tastes fresh. Staff is always friendly and welcoming. Perfect lunch spot when you want something different than burgers. Will recommend and Ill be back in a couple of weeks .

Its not Chipotle but I do love a veggie taco bowl. Cheating while eating healthy

Ordered 3 tacos, completely missed one of the tacos with fillings, drove the 15 min back to have them correct it, after everyone there touch my taco like they didn’t believe me they made a mistake, they just added the toppings in. By this point my food was already cold and touched by everyone there. I just through it out. These franchises should be taught the value of a customer is worth more then 9 dollars, and just make a new one. Never going there again which we would go on a weekly basis and think would get better service. #goingtomoes

I always order from here and love you food but sadly today I was disappointed I order a pork nachos with bbq sauce and corn and beans and rice but it look bad and there no corn or black bean waste of money now

Billy Turbert in the catering department gives excellent results. The staff knows what theyre doing and the food is both fresh and fortifying. What else matters?

Their portions are very small and they are expensive. Got a cheese quesadilla, beef burrito and veggie salad, plus 2 small drinks and it almost came to $40. My son was done with the burrito in 5 bites. The salad barely had lettuce in it. Now I know why they are never busy.

Always a good look. Ive only got a bowl from here ONE time but they loaded me up and it was AWESOME 👌. I do Door Dash for this place a lot though, and the business stays moving. So 4 out of 5 for me.

First time here. Better than Chipotle and Taco Joe’s, and different than Moe’s. The shredded beef had good flavor. I really enjoyed their one salsa that was sweet and spicy, and their cilantro lime sauce. I will definitely come back.

Food was okay at best, nothing in the entire burrito bowl that I had really had much in the way of flavor. I was really disappointed. I had queso and cilantro on my bowl and they were the only hints of flavor in the whole dish. If your in the mood for boring with a side of chips for the right price this is your restaurant.

I come here all the time. I love it that you customize what you want and they make it fresh. Good food and service and reasonable prices. I wish they delivered to homes in addition to businesses.

I had a surprise birthday at this location this past Friday for my daughter who turned 18! She frequents this location quite often and I had 12 ppl (friends & familyjoin us to surprise her. The staff was AMAZING!!! So friendly and helpful. I know this was an unique request and the staff really helped me pull it off. The food was delicious and we had a great time. The Manager Cesar Lazaro was accommodating and extremely helpful - the employees - Diana, Alex, Cortez and Ashley were all extremely professional and accommodating while helping us make some birthday memories. We will continue to come & dine at this location with these employees that have become friends.....one happy Mom xoxo

They have more selections than does a chipotle (tastier IMO), clean, courteous and provide a discount to all emergency workers! Had a good size bowl and comfy seat for a great price! Definitely a company I can get behind. Keep up the good work!

The food is a bit more then Moes, but the quality here is better. Everything just tastes a bit fresher and the soda is all with cane sugar, so it tastes incredibly smooth.

Great service, friendly staff, delicious food! This is one of my go-to spots for a quick bite - the foods always fresh and the portions are very good for the price. Id pick here over Chipotle any day!And a shout-out to everyone on the staff, even on busy days these guys are doing their best, and always with a smile. Every visit here is pleasant, whether its just to pick up an order and go or to sit down with friends and eat. Good stuff!

Go in there when Im in the area. Food is always fresh and good. Even 20min before they close. The dining area is very clean and good size. The staff is always polite and friendly. They do sometimes mess up your order so just pay attention but not enough to make me not go back. Would reccomend

If you like Chipotle (or Mexican in general), youll be a fan of Salsa Fresca. This was my first time coming and they provide the same style for about the same price. Glad I finally checked them out.

2 stars, only because the food is quite decent... However, Just an awful customer experience every time: And I do mean awful. Its as though they hired experts at stress management, operations, efficiency, signage... and then did the exact opposite of everything they said. Food is great: trying to order it, and watching the staff stumble over each other, misuse the equipment, having to coach and remind them what you ordered why youre there, what they still have still get you, who is next... Its truly unbelievable. If you tried to screw up an experience, really tried, you couldnt possibly do it better. Ill happily eat the food: I will NEVER, EVER set foot in one of these ever again. Impossible to believe there is a franchise behind this that allows this level of ineptitude.

Generally the ones in Yorktown and Bedford are better, seems like a lot of employees turn over and rolling a burrito is an art form, but always tasty clean and efficient, great product

Just an all around great place. Wonderful staff, great parking, super cool decor, and a clean dining area. The food is fairly priced, which might seem inaccurate as it is more expensive than most other places. The difference here is the overall freshness of their ingredients as well as very large portions and "complimentary" chips and salsa (lets not kid ourselves, the chips are built into the price). I do wish they had a larger drink selection, as Boylans soda, albeit delicious, tends to all taste the same.

Love this place. I am so pleased that they now deliver to us at cortlandt healthcare. The food is fresh and tasty. My fav is the san juan salad served in a crisp tortilla bowl. The quesso is very good also. Thanks to the owners for expanding delivery zones.

The food is always delicious and the staff is always friendly. Everything is so flavorful and FRESH. Im a returning customer and Ill keep coming back! Also, Im so happy they put this one in Peekskill so I no longer have to make the drive to Yorktown.

After I gave a poor review, the regional manager Matt contacted me personally. He was polite and courteous and resolved the issue very quickly. The food in this place is great, fresh and not bulk transported like chipotle. The different salsas are delicious. They offered to buy my next meal (which was unnecessary, but the right thing to do). All customers want is fresh, good quality food and polite staff. That s all! I totally understand that a lot if customers are rude, but the majority arent. Definitely be back!

The food was amazing and the customer service was great. The staff was lovely, happy and had a great sense of humor. Fun, clean and hip environment. And last but not least the food was AMAZING! It tasted fresh and was very fulfilling ! Will definitely be returning!

Fantastic food at extremely reasonable prices....the staff is also very friendly...I like that they offer discounts to civil servants and the military. We need more business in the local that practice the same business ethics

Love Salsa Fresca. Foods always fresh. Not a large selection on the menu but that makes it easier to figure out what to get.

This place is awesome and I am glad they opened up in Peekskill. The staff is very good here. The last 5 times I have been here I have had conversations with employees while they were making my food. Sometimes these food chains tend to have their employees act as machines and just get work done. Its great to know that you can get food and engage in a conversation. The only thing I think this place should change is being so obvious with the portions and making sure their food is always warm. Other then that, this is a great addition to the neighborhood.

I love this place. I have been going to another salsa Fresca for a while that was father away and I am so glad this one came into town. The first time I went there I was greeted right when I walked in. When ordering my burrito the staff seemed very on top of all the food because it tasted extremely fresh and up to the quality I have come to love at salsa Fresca.

Went to this location in peekskill that just opened up.I went on 7/20/16 the staff were good just certain things like I ordered a burrito they look like they were rationing everything burrito was small the chips was stale very little chips were giving (maybe like 10 chipsso for a burrito,large drink and mind you chips come with every meal so Im really paying for burrito and drink pretty much 13.00 but really mess with me was the stale chips it was like they mad it in the morning and giving it to people at like 2:00pm I will not be going back to this location.
