Upmarket fast-food spot preparing tacos & burritos topped with made-to-order salsas.
False and misleading advertising. They offer free chicken flautas if you order online and have it delivered. Well guess what, they always run out but, if you go to the restaurant they magically have available. This is against the law misleading. The employees are rude especially Esmeralda.
Great Customer service. Waitress was very helpful. Fish and Steak were my favorite. The street corn was also good. Mojito were very tasteful
We ordered food online through Uber Eats today. We gave this place few chances before, but this time they really messed up. Once again my boyfriend’s order was wrong. He specifically asked for no cheese in tacos s(he cannot have dairy). Of course he got cheese. He also asked for corn tortilla. Of course he got flour. Come on, guys. You can do better.
Still sitting at the table laughing with a friend and relishing on the yummy Mexicano Burrito I just had for dinner. Very yummy... and the green sauce with a hint of sweetness was amazing! I ordered guacamole to go 2 weeks ago and it was delicious. Fresh ingredients and flavor packed. Simple eating and not expensive at all.
Came here with for lunch with my brother and we enjoyed ourself. Wasnt too busy.. can order carry out or dine outside). We started with the Mexican corn which was a bit different from what I had at other taco places, but it was good flavor. The margaritas were great and you can taste the alcohol. Tacos were delicious and fresh. I enjoyed the fresh made salsa that comes with it. My brother ordered the lime cheesecake which has tequila.... delicious. Bill came up to $52.00, not bad for the items we ordered. I would come back and try the baja fish tacos.
I always order to go. this time I decided to dine out, and i definitely will be going back. My server was very attentive and courteous. I had a Mexican burrito with cilantro sauce on the side and pico de Gallo and a don Julio margarita . So tasty! Everyone followed the safety guidelines.
Today January the 14 at 2 pm I went to this location, I was told only outdoor seating was available however there were left over cups and plates from previous customers. I was given a menu and told to take a seat and when I was done to place my order in the front counter when I knew what I wanted. Isnt this a restaurant? Isnt that a servers job? For refills I had to go back to the front counter everytime. The "server" was a light skin lady with curly hair.I Had tried this place out not even a week ago and had completely different service even big parties of people were dining in with no such problem. I liked the place but will definitely not be going back after todays experience.
The food for pick up was ready early than the time that it’s said which is good, the flavor is amazing and the order brings a lot, I’m in love👌🏼
What a great place to eat, the food was very good, the service and drinks was excellent!! Perla, our waitress was the best!! one of the best restaurants in the area, must visit!!!
Me and my wife loved this place, but the last two times we have ordered from there we have been very disappointed. The chicken tinga does not have the same texture or flavor it once did. The seasoning is non existent. Please get it right!
Great place for drinks and cheap tacos
Best Waitress Ever during this Pandemic.. U know its good, when ur Mexican mother orders seconds!! Drinks on Point 2-4-1 Happy Hour!!! need I say more...
Perla was great!! Recomendable to any new foodie who wants a quality waitress. Recommend me great options and really made the whole experience great! Even recommended me off menu items! Ask for Perla and please make this lady a manager!!!!! She deserves it.
My review is addressed to the manager of the place that was on duty that night, regardless of the bad service i had from the writers, After getting up from the table, twice ( the first time to ask for the appetizer that never came and the second time to ask for the bill because the waitress, again, never returned to the table after asking for the orderthe manager takes the bill to me and asks me what had happened, I explain everything and I add that “the bad service is going to be reflected in the tip”, she takes the card, and when she returns she stays by my side watching what I write, when I finish signing the account, after putting 0 on the tip, she tells me the following words, “we “Latinos” are used to punishing the waiters with the tip and what they dont know is that they harm the whole team, I answered that the tip is something that is earned and that if someone give me bad service somewhere I do not give anything, because you have to earn it, she answered to me that “the tip is obligatory” i was chocked, and told her “ show me the policy of this place that says that”. At that point we fell into a back and forward of a senseless argument about tips, and kept demanding the tip, she didn’t have the will to stop. My last words were “if you want tips, make better training for your waiters”, she replied “ i leave the 32% of the tips when i go to a restaurant”. This is the First time in my life that a manager instead of solving a problem, treats me as “ Latinos” in a disrespectful way, as if we weren’t all humans regardless of our nationality, if someone treat me badly i’m on my right to do what I understand with my money, i paid for the food, not a penny more. We are supposed to go to a restaurant to relax and have a good time, not to be treated this way. I want to know what the owner of the place thinks about this.
Our experience was great. The food was flavorful and plentiful. The service was great. I have to say, Perla our server was super friendly and attentive. It was an all around great experience. I highly recommend Salsa Fiesta for its good food and excellent, friendly service.
Casual Mexican restaurant. Food is good ( many homemade items and service as well. Chairs are the most uncomfortable in town and menu is limited, but their Miami Lakes location is pretty good overall.
Good food in a casual setting. The burrito bowl I had was very good and my girlfriend enjoyed her crispy tacos as well. Drinks were good but a little pricey for the setting. They do have a happy hour but we missed it. All in all good Mexican food at a reasonable price.
I thought this place was fine. The customer service was good, and the food was enjoyable. Nothing really stood out to me that makes me want to go back. The location was pretty cool because its in walking distance of other shops. I had a good experience, but I dont see myself coming back.
Food is great. Service was horrible. I requested extra sauce for my chips and burrito and a gentlemen came storming at my table by the corner of my seat super rude and had no manners and i told him "please give me space" he told me with an aggressive attitude i need to purchase an extra sauce if i want more which so unprofessional and is ridiculous because it was just sour cream. I never been through his
Luis was an excellent server! Great personality and very warm/friendly. Be careful though as he will serve you with delicious margaritas! (I should know because I was the first person to try their tropical margarita). Food was delicious, great atmosphere. Come say hola to Luis and tip him well.
Thanks Pearl!! have been going to this Salsa Fiesta for years. And I saw how service slowly started going down hill! Food, and service were bad. All of sudden I go back last week with my wife (and today with some old friends that used to go with me and we have loved the changes the owner has brought . Amongst one of the many changes , the staff is incredible. Twice we have been attended by Pearl. She is an example of a stellar employee. She treats Salsa Fiesta as if it was her own. This industry is in her blood and she knows how to make everyone have a good time. So how I’m going back to salsa fiesta regularly and so are many of my friends that were regulars. Thanks again Pearl and I hope the owner notices how much dedication and passion you put in everyday. :)
Nice indoor and outdoor seating areas. Burritos are good, as are the fish tacos and enchiladas. Lots of salsas to choose from.
Took a little bit of time before the waiter came up to us for the first time and got our drink order. Place wasnt even full so I cant excuse it. We got the happy hour two for one drinks, which is a good deal. The mayan roll dessert is amazing. The beef taquitos were delicious and the corn was great
Service is everything no matter how good the food is (food was ok). Had a chatty waitress (Perlawho was definitely not on her game. Couldnt get us a simple drink to save her life, then tried to make up for it by giving my wife a drink when she never wanted one. Food came out at different times which is a no no in my book. Just an all around bad experience. Perla less talk more listening, calling customers mama, my love, pipo is tacky especially when your messing up.
Service here was amazing. Perla was a very pleasant server . She was polite and made you feel comfortable. The food is great! My husband and I love the chicken quesadillas, if you go during dinner time and the weekends add the sauteed onions and peppers you wont regret it. Their new menus are great. The corona margarita as well as the frozen pina colada is perfect for a date night.
Always a GREAT experience when we come here! Our server always has been Perla and she is very helpful and sooo nice! Shes great and makes us want to keep coming back!! Love it!
Tacos and guacamole were great! My friend had a salad and it looked and tasted awesome as well. I definitely liked it. They had a mild tamarind salsa that was amazing! It made my friends eyes light up.
Twice Ive ordered enchiladas with red sauce through post mates and twice Ive received them without any sauce. This last time I even specifically asked for it in the special notes section.I called to speak to a manager, but it goes straight to voicemail in their automated system (love those btw).I called back and spoke to someone taking orders and they said that the manager call line is broken. I explained the problem to her and she wasnt even apologetic. Im done ordering from here.
Great place to eat the tostones and the street corn are delicious really delicious they have specials on drinks, you can eat either inside or outsideQsr JBC!!
Friendly service and great feel. They make you feel at home and are on point with drinks and food!
Loveee this place! The food is always so good and cooked perfectly. The sauces are delicious as well. However, the service here is truly great! Everyone who weve had as a waiter has been great; very nice, friendly, yet professional, and efficient. The burritos and margaritas are a must!!
Too the beautiful girl of my life on a small date to just grab a small bite and enjoyed this restaurant. The food was phenomenal and the waiters were very nice
Their moto is "We believe in Fresh" just not when they prepare their food. The horchata tasted like it came from a plastic bottle. The tostones were rubbery and not fresh. The food just tasted bland. The only good thing about this place was the server Alex, who was friendly and attentive.
The food is super mediocre. The service is great, waiters are very nice and happy. They also brought out my pup a bowl of water without me even asking! Outdoor seating as well.
Jay and I went here for just a little getaway for lunch I like going to Main Street but we didnt know there was a car show actually going on there so we went to eat first and then definitely walked around to view the Vintage and classic and cars the food was delicious as usual as you dont if you follow me you know I love burritos so Salsa Fiesta is definitely a place that I enjoy going to for their steak burritos he actually had enchiladas and they were delicious only taste a little bit but they were delicious and he had a margarita $45 so wasnt too bad was the great atmosphere if you havent been to Main Street in Miami Lakes its a wonderful place to go to place to protect the kids that has a movie theater has different little shops and boutiques has a Victorias Secrets theres a Cold Stone there other eateries and restaurants there as well. This is one of my favorite places to go to in Miami Lakes if you havent been in Main Street is definitely an area to check out I enjoy being over in this way its just really laid-back chill type atmosphere very casual so go ahead and explore let me know what you think about the places over there maybe a restaurant I havent tried and I could try it out
Love this convenient location!! Friendly servic and food is usually done quick, especially if you order take out. Chicken quesadilla is great! Love it with sour cream. Sometimes they burn the food a little or even forget the sour cream but I always check my food before I leave the building.
Delicious food amazing service, good price and a very nice place,so grateful
Very limited menu and the food quality is a bit below average but its not expensive and the employees are friendly. The interior isnt cosy or comfortable so its one of those places you either go to pick up food from or grab a quick bite and leave.
Not sure what happened to this place. I will not come back! I waited 15 minutes to have my server simply bring me jalapeños and limes for my tacos. I waited... Then waited... Brought my plate to the manager and asked her where did my server go to get me those limes, and jalapeños? I told her she needed to make me new tacos as they were now ice cold! They brought me a new plate. Tacos were still cold. Its like they brought me the same ones? Anyways... You lost a customer.
This place must have changed ownership or management. It used to be great, now the food is mediocre making it overpriced. I came about 1 month ago and wasnt happy with the food either. Margaritas have changed glass and amount. I came today because I forgot my past experience. Theyre not giving any dips with the chips that come in the main dish. The guacamole burrito now has more green and red peppers and onions than guacamole, oh, and no beans. Our server was in training and Im fine with that, but having 4 servers confused and having one bringing 1 plate when we where a couple and order at the same time is unacceptable. On top of that the "trainner" was even worse. I hope i dont forget this next time and come back again. For this restaurant to be empty on a friday night means more people share the same opinion.
I dont usually do these reviews but felt I needed to let other customers who go here like myself not to get BAMBOOZLED as I sadly was. First of all let start by saying i started going to this Salsa Fiesta (Miami Lakessince it 1st opened its doors several months ago . I become instantly a regular right away I ABSOLUTELY LOVED the food & the service not to mention their large margaritas which are awesome . I recently went as I normally go once a week with my daughter to have dinner then a movie after & noticed right away the BS & the menu nickel & dime scam . I ordered what Ive always order 3 chicken hard guerreros tacos & I then would sub out the pico de gallo for a side a guacamole which is a $1 more & a large margarita. The waitress goes to me sorry we no longer have large margaritas . I was like what ? why ? She was like bc we would run out of glasses mid shift & had to wash them to meet the supply & demand . I was like blown away , so let me see they stopped selling them bc they didnt have enough glasses? BS!! Bottom line here is they stop selling them bc the small 6oz margaritas cost $6.29 & the 12oz large cost $7.99 interpretation here they are nickel & dimming their regular customers like myself who by the way isnt a big drinker but with one large margarita I was good & sometimes on a rare occasion 2 Im great . But wait it gets better I then get my check at the end of the meal & noticed I was charged almost $5 more than normal so I was forced to check the details of my check & see a $3.50 charge for my side of guacamole which has ALWAYS been a $1 to sub out with your normal side . I then asked to speak to the manager which gets even more hilarious bc she was the one who initially took my order but wasnt our permanent server & she did NOT disclose this new menu change , that they do not sub out sides anymore I was pretty blown away & upset to say the least for being mislead . She then agreed to remove the charge out of courtesy which was the right thing to do but yet the damage & trust was lost after that . Now with all the above being said Im leaving this restaurant 1 star & why you ask ? Bc its just plain BAD business to nickel & dime your customers ESPECIALLY the loyal & regular ones like myself who put this establishment on its foundation . I took my brother in law here once & some other family members & we ran up $130 tab . NEVER AGAIN ! Im all for a business making money & making the economy grow Im just not for being BAMBOOZLED into lies & misleading price updates on the menus to do so . With that being said SHAME ON YOU Fiesta Salsa for allowing your marketing team & district managers do do this to your loyal customers like myself . Sadly but needs to addressed as well the employees at this location are extremely courteous, professional as are the managers . The food is super great here as well . My huge disappointment & anger is towards the marketing & district managers who once again are all about the money & quick dollar & GREED behind it to do so at any cost & sadly NOT their customers .
Ordered the Acapulco salad bowl, friendly and fast service. Big servings
The service was very bad, the waiters seemed very confused and just unprofessional. As for the food it wasnt very appetizing, it made our stomachs ache and the rice was very hard and stuck together it was just overall a bad experience I wouldnt recommend it to anyone. I just hope they try to improve and get better staff.
The food was great. The original chicken tacos with guacamole are a real stand out. But Im really disappointed that the service was slow at my table. As I watched a few other tables fill up and get there their food, I had to wonder: "Where is that extra salsa that I requested? And what about those extra chips?" Im certain that service will be better the next time around. Again, the food is an A+.
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED. Called in an order and when I get there I pay and go to my car and in the car I realize my order was wrong so I walk back in and complain and I receive a new bag. I didnt check the bag because I assumed it was right this time but again I get into my car and the Order was missing things. Frustrated I get back to the store only to hear the cashier say "whats wrong now" at this point I am just beyond frustrated so I just said never mind and give me my money back. Then the manager comes to refund me my money and instead of asking if there is something he can help with that would ease or change the situation he just gives me my money back like if its no big deal. I eat here often and I am a regular but not anymore and hopefully the owner will see this review and retrain his staff to be more courteous and conscientious.
The food is excellent. I especially love the fajitas. They have healthier options such as whole wheat tortillas and Brown rice if youre going that route. Food is fresh. I did, however have a bad experience with the service and delivery. They use a third party for delivery and my order took almost two hours to arrive. The following time I ordered, the employee who processes online orders did not send it to the delivery company. Needless to say, i was livid..The great thing was how Jose redeemed himself. He personally made sure my items were made fresh and personally apologized for the inconvenience. Good customer service is scarce in South Florida, but I must say that Jose handled the situation well and this is the reason why I will continue to order from here again.
Honestly Im quite disappointed. I was really looking forward to eating Mexican food. All I really got on my tacos was lettuce, guacamole, and pico de gallo. It was more like a no meat taco. There was a layer of steak on the bottom of the taco shell which makes perfect sense "is the last part of the taco you eat"! But besides the food the service was horrible we asked for extra sour cream for the burrito and my husband finished the burrito and the waiter never came with the sour cream BUT before finishing the taco we asked another waiter to please call our waiter and guess what he said ok turned around and chatted with "customers on another table" and our waiter taking to co-worker and dancing by the salsa then he disappeared to the back. Service was so bad we had to get up to pay our bill because he never approached us after we sat there for a little while. Service delays could have been understood if the place was busy there was a total of 3 tables being service this includes ours and plenty of waiters to stay connected making sure the service and the food is as expected. Unfortunate for the person running this franchise. Hopefully they can make changes for the best.
One of the best Mexican Food Restaurants I know around here. Their portions are very generous and is staff is very polite. Every time Ive been here the manager stops by our table and says hi. Kudos to salsa fiesta!
As my friend and I are walking in we were greeted immediately and escorted to our table. After that it the experience went downhill. Our waitress was extremely friendly and talkative but did not remember our orders. We ordered a guacamole as a starter and it took 30 minutes even with the restaurant half full. The beer I ordered wasnt as cold as it was supposed to be and I was unable to finish it. And the 3 tacos I ordered with corn tortilla ended up being corn, flour and lettuce wrap. Coming from a Mexican, the food is def not Mexican. It is more like a fusion tex mex. I will not be recommending this restaurant and will stick to Chipotle for a quick meal.
The food and service have had a steady decline over the past several weeks. When this location first opened it was awesome. The food was fresh and the service was great. This is not so much the case anymore. I recently ordered pick up for my office (approx 10 people). I order the quesadilla on a whole wheat tortilla and it was dry, overcooked and the chips tasted old too. I had several complaints about the same thing from my coworkers. I dont think well be ordering from here anymore.
