Salsa! Temple in Piripiri

This was literally the most horrible dance bar Ive ever been too. The stuff and security member outside are aggressive, discriminatory and miss any social or communicational competences needed for their job. Ive been there with a bunch of people and a friend of mine was thrown out without even havent entered the bar cause she was holding a drink in her hand from the pres before (she didnt know that this wasnt allowed and was given no chance to explain herself.Same for me: Ive been smoking outside and since it was raining, I just took some space in the entrance. The security guy next to me turned around and screamed at me, that I should leave the door. I didnt understand him, just asked what he was saying and he took me and throw me out. His colleague looked down on me and said I should discuss. They wanted me to stand in the rain. And best comes at the end: the bar was completely empty that night and we were only one of the few people to buy drink and thus contribute to the standing of that disastrous place. Please avoid it, its not worth it!

Really disappointed with the cocktails. Ordered two completely different ones just to be sure. Paid for them but didnt drink them as they were weak and not tasty, almost watery.I even asked the bartender if it was meant to be that way and he said yes :/

was very excited to go to temple salsa as had heard a lot of great things. Unfortunately, my experience was terrible. When waiting in the queue I could tell that the head bouncer was not happy, being very rude and aggressive to people going in. When we got to the front one of my friends didnt have his physical id. he asked if it was possible to accept a scanned version on his phone. The bouncer became even more aggressive saying no. My friend said he understood and left the queue. We then waited outside for our other friends, who were already in the bar to join us. As we were waiting another friend in our group that didnt go in asked the head bouncer if it was possible for his date to use the bathroom. The head bouncer continued to become more aggressive and intimidating. when my friend responded that she just needed to use the toilet and she would go in alone the bouncer responded that it didnt matter that she was a woman, and she shouldnt be letting my friend speak for her. He then began hurling abuse. he was shouting, very aggressively, that he had a cheap suit and shoes and that he wouldnt be able to afford anything inside anyway. His behaviour was so appealing the other door staff were trying to pull him away and calm him down. One even apologised for his behaviour and said he often behaves in this way. As a young woman I felt extremely uncomfortable and unsafe. He was behaving terribly. As much as I would like to visit salsa temple i wouldnt feel safe going back in case, he was on the door again.

Great Night out with cheap drinks for London. Will try the dance classes next time

Had a work event here, we booked out the whole venue from 10am to midnight. There were about 200 of us. They were SO slow, angry and inefficient, as if they hadn’t prepared at all for us being there (even though they had tons of notice), and they kept trying to avoid giving us things we’d paid for. They were incredibly rude and kept interrupting the activities we were doing, including at one point when they ran onstage and snatched the microphone from the person giving us a dance lesson with zero explanation. They then let the general public in at 11pm despite us having another hour of use and abruptly ended our celebrations. Absolutely never have any event, business or otherwise, at this place - I normally don’t leave bad reviews but I feel like I need to warn people not to spend any money here!

Thanks to Jonathan and his team for an incredible event for 100 people to connect, I loved working with you and the attendees had an incredible time. The atmosphere, food, customer service, timing, organisational skills and attention to detail when we needed support throughout the evening was unparalleled. Thanks for looking after us.

Went fir the 1st time last Saturday. Had the best night ever. I didnt feel uncomfortable. Prices were reasonable. Staff and security handled the night so well as it got really busy. Defo going back

Best place for a night out in London. Cocktails are very nice and affordable, the music is spot on and the staff friendly and accommodating. Had the time of my life there.

Be ready to meet the unprofessional bouncers of the venue. One day explicitly hitting on you, the other day making rude remarks and mocking you cause according to them your English is not good enough and quote you look confused. I am generally very chill and easy, but this was a bit too much, you should check the powermad behaviours of your staff.The dance classes at the venue are very nice, Thursdays bachata with Brandy particularly recommended!

Just had one of the most fun girl’s nights of the year. Drinks were good and the servers were lovely (I think ours was called Angelica). Highly recommend!!!!

Had a great time dancing with my girlfriend. Enjoyed the lesson and bought two drinks. Left them on the table only two meters away from where we were only for the staff to clear them away. We didnt notice and the bar staff werent interested in the slightest. Pretty annoying spending £9.50 on a cocktail only for most of it to be taken away. Spoilt the night really.

The salsa classes are nothing short of chaotic. I went on a Thursday and it was very crowded with people stepping all over eachother which doesn’t leave much room for actually learning and practicing. Would not recommend.HOWEVER, the music and vibes after the classes are great and Morgan at the bar saved the day. Great service even when it’s busy

Nice place but the food is terrible.I have got a burger burned outside, raw inside, tasteless, and the bun was old.Fries didnt teste of potato at all, and seemed reheated, obviously frozen food.The staff didnt care at all after I told them.They promote drinks at 50% for happy hour, and when I ordered they said it is UP to 50%, I ordered the same drink twice and I paid a different price.

Salsa temple is truly a place to visit at least once! It is vibrant and pretty affordable too! Marco shined the brightest out of all the bartenders in a bar he was lively, hospitable and professional at all times. Cocktails were wonderful and the food is just yummy !

Very nice and interesting bar. They do salsa and bachata classes and have a very big room with lots of tables. We had dinner and drinks and really enjoyed the evening.Also, our bartender Marko was super nice and available!

First time visiting this beautiful, unique restaurant. As soon as we arrived we had such a warm welcoming. Our server -MARKEL who was wonderful. Words can not describe how amazing this man’s service is. He goes beyond customer service and makes your experience so personalised. He was so helpful and professional as well as funny. He service and communication skills were of the most high. He had a beautiful smile which definitely made you feel welcome. I eat out a lot but this by far has been the best experience out and I could not let this pass without writing a review. The food was perfection at its finest (compliments to the chef). They tried to make me give 5 stars to get free entry which was great!But going inside the waiters weren’t listening to us when we wanted to order food. The drinks were so watered down.Salsa was great to dance but don’t go for food and drinks. Security were so flirtatious it was disgusting. And they security were so rude.

Quite disappointed with this visit. I went with my friends to celebrate my birthday we were seated quickly which was fair and nice. However, we had to wait for 30 minutes for our drinks to be taken. We ended up waiting another 20 minutes which we then had to approach a different waiter. This then caused a confusion with our drinks. We also waited a an hour and a half in total to receive our food. When our food arrived it was cold, the prawn fajitas had only 5 prawns and the burgers were quite dry. The drinks were. This all lead to confusion with the bill. This was resolved and so went to dance which was so fun. This was only short lived, as a man (who was named as a regularinappropriately touched 2 of my friends. We reported it to the security and the situation was quite poorly handled. So we left early. Was such a shame as my first visit was so so fun.

They have fake 5 stars. Staff is telling guests at the entrance that they should give a 5 star review or pay £5.I’ve never seen that kind of thing before. We all know that competition is high in city, but this just isn’t right.We were party of 8 and just turned back when we saw what kind of attitude they had. We were one of the regular guests, and always enjoyed cocktails and food in this bar.I’ve always said to my friends how great this place was and brought so many people to this bar.I don’t think we will be ever coming back unfortunately…

I couldn’t believe this things are happening!This guys are blackmailing people for reviews!!!My boyfriend entered a bar with his friend and they paid £5 fee. When I got to the entrance one of the “managers “ offered me to give him a 5 * review or pay for entrance!My friends told me that if you mentioned staff name in review you’re getting a free drink.Will avoid this place in future.

Annoyed with what happened at this bar last night. A group of us had already been in for a pre boat party drink. Dark and stormy cocktail was lovely. When we returned later the staff said they don’t serve dark and stormy and I must have been in a different place 🙄! I bought a rum and ginger and before I had finished it they had taken my drink away .. so annoying nobody seemed to take charge

This place is great! Atmosphere is chill and vibrant.The staff is also really friendly. Aditya served us and i wanna say a big thank you! They know what they’re doing and what they’re talking about, and you can tell making the customers happy is their main priority. Food is pretty good and filling, and for their prices it’s 100% worth it. We really enjoy coming there for the drinks dance and music, even better with happy hour and free salsa lessons!! Would totally recommend this place!

Decent place apart from one guy the main bouncer. This mixed raced guy thinks he is terminator. Not had a problem personally but been going long enough to see him starting conflict and fights with people to reassure his Delusional ego. He got beaten up the other day by doing this exact thing. His security dont really have the ability or IQ to help people. You been warned and ignore grammar etc. The main manager is a special individual I wont embarrass him here all Ill say is he should look for another job poor is putting it very nicely especially after what je done

The worst customer service experience lived in all the years I have been living here in London. You will be always surrounded by so-called security staff who will treat you as a complete piece of garbage. Just people with a lot of ego problems who just want to feel themselves important mistreating the customers that go to consume and spend money there... If you want to enjoy your money avoid this place... There are better options.

Great and super large place!I can imagine when is full and buzzing it would be quite a good atmosphere in here.Good choice of cocktails 🍹.Very tropical decorated as the name says Salsa!Great location.The service is okay.The clean, there is a space for improvements.Overall it seems to be a good place to have a good time.

Enjoyed the free salsa intro class on Monday. The vibes are nice and staff are friendly. The cocktails were tasty, but very weak. Happy Hour is also UP TO 50% off and there is no clear indication of what reduction you will get. Slightly confusing

Great night. Honey pot is stunning. The lads are gorgeous. Matthew was a great barman. Food was a little disappointing, but the night wasn’t ruined by it. Hen was over the moon. Couldn’t have gone better really! Thanks for the great night. x

Great friendly and busy atmosphere, reasonably priced drinks, the food was great. The door staff/security were friendly and genuine. The bar staff were great. As a restaurant, bar and salsa class it was all fantastic.
