Salonschiff Fräulein Florentine in Linz

This is a true gem on the shores of the Danube. The drinks are fairly affordable compared to other places and the venue being a ship is quite a unique experience. Dont forget to pack your sea legs! When I visited, they had a good DJ on and the crowd was chill and dancey.

Lovely atmosphere! However they refused to serve toast because the toaster was "just cleaned". 10min later they served toast to other guests.

They had almost nothing available from the menu. Unless you can and/or like to drink beer and whisky. Also they didnt want to serve coffee, because the coffee machine was just cleaned (sure, it was 10PM – however not closing hour; and if a customer would like to enjoy coffee, I think you should just prepare a coffee).

We have only good memories about this place

I always enjoy coming to "the boat". Very relaxed place with a wonderfully happy atmosphere.

Cool, relaxed vibe, a bit alternative. Great tea for us English! A small Disco!! But v quiet, you didnt really notice it at all.

For me it is one of the nicest bars in Linz. I highly recommend it if you are into swing, jazz and electronic music.

I love the location by the danube and the relaxed atmosphere. If you want to grab a snack, drink a coffee or go to nice little concerts. This is the place.

It is great in summertime. It is good in wintertime.Old and deteriorating furniture as seating. It is good for hanging out with friends. I wouldnt bring a first date here though.

A very nice and scenic spot in Linz where you actually sit on a ship thats flaoting in the Danube. In the summer its very comfortable sitting on the deck where you can enjoy your beer and a cool breeze from the Danube while having a very nice view of Linz.There is no table service so you always have to get your drinks on your own from the bar. During the day they also serve drinks at the bar on the deck, but in the evening you have to get your drinks from downstairs. They also offer a small selection of warm dishes, so check out their goulash if you get hungry ;-)The only downside is that if youre there at night and there are a lot of people who want to get their drinks at the bar, you kind of have to behave a bit egoisticly in order to not wait for an eternity.

Cozy, laid back atmosphere, great events, nice outdoor seating on the Danube and vegan/vegetarian options. A great hangout place in the middle of the day or late into the night. Good vibes!

Really nice in summer. Right on the Danube, good view. There is also an inside sitting area which is ok for cold weather, but sitting on the deck in summer is what you want to do here.Almost no food, they have some cakes though, drinks are pretty standard but nothing special. There is only bar service, so you need to pick are your own drink other than that nice atmosphere, good place to spend a nice laid back afternoon.

Self ordering at the bar. Chaotic service. Long waiting time but the breakfast is very good. Recommendable if you have plenty of time and sunshine. Dont be angry the waters arnt professionals but the cook.

Finally I found a cozy non-smoking bar/cafe in Linz that really is non-smoking (the other locations had a smokers area located in such a way that you always came out smelling like an ashtray...). Nice and relaxed atmosphere with fireplace and chess-tables. Highly recommend!
