I love this cute restaurant! Great delicious food. Hidden in the plaza in a great location. The pastas are great, appetizers delicious, drinks 😋 tasty!!! Please do not miss this little hidden corner! Its so good and pretty inside!!!

Is an average experience. Food was like basic. We bought an American burger whose bread just broke while eating it. We also bought a "house special" and the sal marina Crispy rice. That one comes in a nice presentation like un a mini caldero (or paila a typical cooking potbut the taste was not great. I could not like it.The best part was the live music (also the reason why we cameand the empanaditas (specially the chorizo ones). But did not took pictures of that one.

From the moment we walked in, I knew we found a special place. We were greeted & seated right away. Not only is the restaurant super clean, but it is beautifully decorated and very comfortable.The service was amazing, and I even learned some more Spanish.As a vegetarian, I was also pleasantly surprised when they handed me a vegetarian/vegan menu! I was fine with the regular menu, but these options were exciting! I had the curry vegetables and the vegetable stir-fry, and both dishes had so much flavor! We had the Llorando Chocolate for dessert! Wow! Delicious! The prices are reasonable and we will definitely return! Thank you Sal Marina!!

What a wonderful staff! The cook is very good too. We are in Juan Dolio for 2 months and have had the opportunity to eat at several restaurants frequently. Sal Marina has great food. When I didnt eat all my burger the cook came out from the kitchen and asked me if there was a problem. The burgers are huge! The shrimp risotto is heavenly, it has enough cheese in it to make your eyes roll back. The nachos are also devine for a light snack. Once again the cook came out to make sure the food was okay. My husband ask the owner to make nachos with rice instead of nacho chips and was happily accommodated. Can say enough wonderful things about this restaurant

Great food at a reasonable price. I especially appreciated the relative tranquility of the location and the good service. The only negative was that they were out of everything that we initially ordered. But the items that we ordered the second time around were all delicious. Be sure to ask your server what they do not have before perusing the menu.

Great place for a quick lunch!

Very delicious food, suited for vegetarians. Nice atmosphere, clean and friendly staff.The only downside is the vegan menu not being available.

It wasn’t that great as everyone said’s. It’s not your typical Dominican food. The cuisine is fusion. A little pricey. The atmosphere quiet with music in the background.

Restaurante Sal Marina, una alternativa en Juan Dolio. Buenos platos, bien preparados. El bacalao estaba muy bueno, solo que algo pequeño. Los precios son $$$. Atención del personal buena. El lugar es pequeño, pero casi siempre hay lugar.

We were in Juan Dolio for a week and ate at Sal Marina’s 5-6 times. Such good quality and fresh food at extremely reasonable prices. Cheapest meal in the area for such good quality. The churro cup dessert was amazing, as well as the chocolate lava cake. We even came back for lunch AND dinner our last day in the country. Could not recommend this restaurant more!

The mojito, spinach dip, and pasta were delicious.

Excelente comida, lindo ambiente y muy buena atención.Comí un salmón delicioso. Mi amiga un wrap de pollo, mi novia comió camarones que estaban muy bien y por último comimos pasta.El jugo de fresa en leche se recomienda porque lo hacen muy bien.
