MoreExcellent service and amazing unique dishes. You have to try their traditional dish Chiles En Nogada.
MoreIncredible service. Awesome food. Unbelievable tequila selection.
Expertly prepared food, big portions, huge menu with endless options. Absolutely stellar service and the best bread basket I have seen or tasted in years, with gourmet breads, rolls and blue corn chips.
MoreAmazing service party of 10 the server was great and the food outstanding. Corn bread to die for.
MoreYou can blindly choose any item on the menu and you wont be wrong, great service and attention to detail. Must visit the whole restaurant to appreciate a modern colonial house.
MoreWe are lunch here outside on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. Really great ambience with good live music. The service was impeccable and the food was good.
MoreLovely setting and great food. Get ready to wait, but it is worth it.
Outside nice, inside too noisy. Usually the food is excellent but this time is was very off.
MoreAbsolutely lovely. We dined outside and everything was perfect. Incredible service and wonderful food. A+
MoreSaks in San Angel is the epitome of style. A superb historic building just off the square, friendly and attentive staff completely make the place. If you go for breakfast or brunch there will be an exquisite selection of pastries or Pan Dulce to choose from. The Tequila Room, just to your left as you step inside, is a stunning display of tequila from across Mexico. On the uoper floors of the main dining room are various smaller rooms for hire for private parties and gatherings.Outside there is a shaded terrace of you prefer to watch the square while you eat or simply visit for coffee and cakes.
MoreI had a glass of wine and I told the manager that it was too acidic, they immediately change it and the head of the restaurant immediately came to me and said that the wine was past due and I was not paying for any addition wine. I really like their service!!!
MoreTremendous service. Beautiful atmosphere. Delicious and meticulous fresh food.
We come for breakfast and it was a great decision: the restaurant is very beautiful inside and out, food was delicious, high level of service. BUT come on, in this kind of restaurant serve the food in dirty dishes…it’s not ok even for a cheap taco place, so for Saks is absolutely unacceptable
MoreStunning looking place. Absolutely beautiful so much character. Lovely food too.
It says open from 7 am, but I arrived at that time and they told me that they open until 8 am. I have to go somewhere else to take my breakfast.
MoreDELICIOUS!! Excellent product quality and own bakery (the bread is really a dream there!). Great to go for lunch after visiting the artist market on San Jacinto Square. Very recommendable to make prior reservations because it is always full. Even under this circumstances, the service was PERFECT!! Very friendly and efficient. The Saks in Polanco is very good too.
MoreA really good brunch spot! Im giving it 5 stars because my wife and I had too much fun and mimosas made the subsequent trip extra fun!
MoreThe food, service and place is really good, just a little angry because I called to do a reservation and told us that they dont do them on weekends, but when we arrived we had to wait 20 minutes because of reservations.
MoreOne of my favorites in Mexico City. Alfajores was my favorite.
Excellent service. Dishes were good as well. The place us beautiful and clean. If you are in the area, give a try.
MoreIt was a really good experience, the food, service and ambiance were perfect for a Christmas brunch.
MoreI havent had breakfast here for a long time and it was a great experience
Beautiful and agreeable restaurant in a colonial house and in a great location. Good service and delicious food. Unfortunately it is hard to get a table so reservations must be donne several days in advance.
MoreGreat service, great taste, nice entertainment, good location
very nice location, nice old building, super friendly staff, great food, lunch from 1pm breakfast looked nice also, did have meat was good quality. nice seating top floor
MoreGood food! Check out the tequila bar..sooo 😎 cool!
Came here for breakfast and it was outstanding. I had the machaca, green juice, and a coffee. The food was excellent, perfectly seasoned, and presented well. Their house salsas are all very good and I highly recommend the salsa verde con aguacate.Service was perfection from the time we sat down until we finished our meal. This was the case even though the restaurant was completely full. As someone who has worked for ten years in the hospitality industry, I will admit its no easy task to find a better dining experience with better staff.
MoreAfter 2 weeks in Mexico city we could not find a fully satisfactory restaurant (of course street food is amazing). This place is beautiful, with excellent service, perfectly executed dishes and incredible music. So good, plus excellent area, very quiet and interesting.
MoreExcellent Excellent everything food drinks and the crepas con cajeta amazing
I absolutely love this place. It is situated where once a fantastic Indian restaurant was located. The architecture is absolutely stunning and smells of tradition. Great food. Outstanding service. Get there early because everyone wants to enjoy a meal there.
MoreI think it’s dependent on the time you go but the service was really really horrible. The head of the wait staff is also very temperamental and I could visibly see him degrading his staff in front of guests without concern. I would not recommend to anyone.Lest, any questions you may have or actually requiring the assistance of a waiter for water or the like, is received with his passive eye rolls and huffing.I can understand Spanish so I assume his demeanor was due to assuming I could not understand what he was saying like the other expats in the room.Overall I was not impressed especially for a higher end pick in the area.
MoreThe octopus was the best item we had, but enjoyed others too. Decor & service were excellent and contributed a lot to our enjoyment of our meal.
MoreThe architecture of this restaurant is phenomenal, and so is the food. I ordered a tamarind margarita and Saku tuna tostadas, both highly recommended.
MoreGreat service, chic morning ambience, and good menu variety. Sadly, flavor is not their strong suit nor are prices justified. Recommended for a quaint morning gathering, but don’t expect a great cuisine.
MoreA great place for a breakfast steak and some wine. The steak was over cooked a tad bit but overall great. The staff was attentive and courteous. Id come back
MoreHad breakfast here and blown away. First time trying cuitlacoche omelette and my 5 senses were singing harmoniously. This is a tequileria, situated in a traditional Mexican house and interiors are beautiful. Make sure to buy some pan de elote to go. I never write these reviews on the same day, but I was so happy with my experience here it deserves a same day review =)
MoreSaks was the best restaurant I visited in Mexico City. The food was delicious, the views were lovely, and the service was the best I’ve experienced in a city full of excellent service. We had the guacamole appetizer with a Cabernet wine and a curry lunch. Originally, I didn’t like the first wine we ordered (totally our choiceand we said it wasn’t for us and they handled it incredibly gracefully, and we got another bottle we loved. The bread was phenomenal. Again though, the service was the best.
MorePricey but delicious food and beautiful place!
A lttle pricey but nice atmosphere.
A delight to the pallette and a great edifice with an ambience and majestic light.
MoreGreat place to visit. The food is very good, the service is kind, quick and attentive, it’s suitable for breakfast, lunch and dinner. You can get private rooms if needed. It is a fantastic place for large groups and you can have everything pre ordered, so the service is really efficient time wise.Over all it is a great place to visit if you are visit Bazar del Sábado.
MoreCharming and delicious. The corn muffin especially was delightful. Huevos Divorciados were also good. Great place to enjoy brunch before the Saturday Market.
MoreFresh seafood. Nice patio next to a beautiful park. I’d return.
Best chilaquiles in town within a beautiful colonial setting - classic San Angel vibes usually with live music during the weekend mornings and a lovely tequila room decorated beautifully! Definitely one of the top places for breakfast/brunch in Mexico City!
MoreThe place is beautiful without a doubt. I recommend it just because of it.Food is good but not great. The octopus I ordered was raw and my friend’s pasta was too spicy. There was no waiting time although the table they gave us was next to the bar. That is why there was a lot of staff movement close to us.Despite the staff walking around us we waited considerable time to get a glass of water.I think if we had reserved a table we could’ve had a better experience.
MoreOne of the most beautiful places in the city. A must in San Angel. This superb beautiful San Angel Mansion has a wonderful interior decoration, its absolutely wonderful. The restaurant service is very good and the prices of the menu are quite affordable. They have a high-quality standard, therefore its popularity. Its important to be patient while waiting to be assigned to your table.Carlos Cli
MoreThis is without a doubt one of my all time favorites in CDMX. In the magical area of Coyoacán, next to the Bazar del Sábado, they have live Cuban/Spanish Caribbean music on the front terrace, food is exquisite and choice of wine superb. Highly recommended.
MoreThis was a vegetarian restaurant but know you can find all type of meals. The service is really fast but not to kind. They have live music so you will be charged with a cover for it. They presume to have the best Chile en nogada in whole México, but it is just ok. They serve the food before the wine. So you have to insist on bringing the wine first
MoreThe best place to eat in Mexico City. Very elegant. Hummus and tortillas de maiz negro are the best and are served in every table! And agua de jamaice is the best in the whole country! Love it!
