Saklikent kanyon is extremely beautiful place. It is worth it to visit and be sure to go deeper. The journey begins with a bridge over an emerald river. At the very beginning, you can also see a beautiful forked waterfall. To enter deep into the canyon, you will have to overcome 100 meters in knee-deep icy water. But its worth it, as the whole canyon is just amazing. Dont forget to bring aquashoes and a towel, and leave everything else in the car. If you choose an extreme route, you will also need a change of clothes. In this case, it is better to order a guide who will professionally guide you through the most difficult sections and tell you how to overcome them. I am sure that at the exit you will be overwhelmed with emotions from the experienced adventure.

A good outing place with a freezing cold water fall. The place has a ticket for entry You can bring eatables along but they are also available at the venue. You need to pay at a single point collect the token and then go to the required eatery to collect your food. Plenty of space to sit. Worth visiting

We went as a party of nine as part of a safari excursion. It was exhilarating, exciting and a bit of an adventure. When the water is high as it was after a couple of days of rain it is difficult to keep your feet in places. The water can be very powerful and extremely cold, crystal clear in places and literally like a mud bath in others.Take a spare set of clothes because you are going to get soaked, you will also need strong beach/water shoes or something sensible that wont come off your feet in the water. You can actually hire or buy these on site if you prefer.Prepare to get wet and enjoy the beautiful scenery.

Second time visiting this gorgeous place. Amazing. wonderful. Nice Cool hiking in a very hot day through the canyon. My strong advice is to visit early in the morning when less crowded to enjoy it more. By noon it is really crowded and the smoking everywhere bothers so much.I hope authorities will ban 🚭 in such natural place. Bring your rubber shoes, waterproof pocket for your cellphone. Entry is 13 turkish lira per July 2022. Highly recommend. .

Never seen anything like this before! You have to walk in water, so be sure to bring an extra pair of shoes. You can also buy water shoes at the entrance, but I just wore my Converse and was glad actually because it can be very slippery. It was an amazing experience!!

As I didnt have much time whilst there I just admired the views, took photos and videos and walked along the Bazar street and was so delighted to find the Saklıkent Paradise Restaurant. I could have stayed there all day!! The staff were very friendly, food and service fabulous. Make sure you dont miss this adorable place after you have walked to the end of the Bazar street. 🥰😍

It was very busy near the entrance of the gorge however much fewer people further on. Also, white water rafting in a rubber ring to finish the experience. A good couple hours.

First 800m is like piece of cake. But you need to get prepared to be wet. After that until 1500m it is managable. Then if you manage to climb the big rock you will be very glad to be walking such a breathtaking route with a waterfall at the end

The place is nice and charming and everything but its very small, so it would only take you 5 minutes from the entrance to check it out, unless you are capable of walking into a 0 degree river water, so uo might be able to walk a bit more and explore more. Everything inside from drinks to ice vream to shoe rental is very expensive so keep in mind. Entrance is only 13 T.L per adult and 6.5 per student.

Nice place. There is a path to follow with the feet in the water , but dont be confused, is not so easy . Plastic shoes are necessary and if you want to go up to the end , no bags no phone or other things could be lost in the river . At a certain point the water raise up to the waist , thats why we didnt arrive to the waterfall. We stop 500 mt before. But dont be worried , it is not easy but not so difficult . Many families with child are doing it . At the end a good tea on platforms in the water will restore you .

What can I say...Saklikent is one of the best places I have seen in my entire life.It is a canyon you walk into. You rent or buy some plastic shoes outside.Inside the place is 30TL rent, 60TL to buy.Markets outside sell them for 30TL.You walk for an hour or 1.20h.At the end there is a beautiful waterfall!!Be careful towards the end there is a difficult places and some people will ask you to give them money for their help.If you help each other is gonna be fine. Alone is more difficult. This place is wonderful!

it was somehow good the experience of entering canyon but dont expect a secluded area because its full of people and you should go inside of the canyon by the instructed path not in adventures way . the price of the ticket is cheap and affordable . you can visit some waterfall also swiming and pathing the river while eating food .

Walking in the cold water was awesome hut facilities are really lacking in quality. They should really renovate restaurants and restrooms. It was very crowded but it was nice to sit near the river to have a wonderful experience.

Lovely place of natural beauty. Do some research and try to go at a quiet time. You need to be fairly mobile to climb up/down to the gorge.Only downside was quite a bit of litter at the bottom of the gorge.

Very interesting, fun and unique place to hike or spend the day. Parking is 45Tl, entrance is 16Tl for adults. Just a bit after you enter, you will find a picnic and rest area where there’s food and drinks (meals, corn, ice cream, doughnuts, coffee/tea…)… lots of tables and benches in the water… and they also either sell or rent rubber shoes for the canyon (renting one pair is 60Tl). Honestly, we hiked the canyon barefoot and really enjoyed it, it wasn’t painful or unpleasant for us… but most people either rented/bought water shoes or wore street shoes. The water in the canyon is not deep, maximum knee height, otherwise barely any water (in summer). The water at the picnic area is absolutely ice cold because of fresh strong streams coming in. People have fun or bathe in the ice water, it’s exhilarating! Once you pass the turbulent cold water (there’s a rope to hold on to), then everything is calm and the water is warm. The canyon is about 1.5km… after that they recommend to go further only with a guide. Guides are waiting at the 1.5km point. I don’t know how much it is. At the very entrance of the park they offer free hard hats/helmets… most people don’t use one but you can if you want. The canyon gets more and more narrow and interesting as you go. The way back is the same way you go. It’s cool enough inside the canyon in summer, and I didn’t wear a hat or sunglasses. I recommend to put your phone in a waterproof case and to have a backpack. Have a swimsuit and towel too for the cold water bathing. We stayed there a while, maybe 4hrs… to sit and enjoy and also took many photos inside the canyon. I really recommend seeing this place it’s refreshing change from the beach and summer heat!

Wonder of nature. It is a great option for a hot day - you get plenty of refreshing water there and shade if you need to. The entrance fee is very cheap. The only thing to bear in mind is that there are no toilets once youre in the gorge.

Really beautiful canyon. The most of the way you walk, 3 places you need to climb. At the end there is a small waterfall and a rope to the another way back. I was not allowed to climb without a helmet, so if you want please prepare. Wear non-slippery shoes and get ready to be wet up to the waist. Good luck.

This is a really fun activity to walk throught the canyon!I definitely recommend water or gym shoes and a comfortable cloth (prepare to get wetas a must have - they sell shoes or rent them by the bazar and past the entry (60tl to buy). Some people almost injured themselves with flip-flops or weak sandals. This is also a bit dangerous and difficult to walk with elderly and kids. Some parts of canyon can be physically challenging to pass, you might need to help each other lifting and pulling through. The waterfall at the end is kinda small, but you feel very accomplished by reaching it. We spent 2hrs total for this activity and it got less crowded further since a lot of families were giving up.

A great half day trip to the gorge. Recommend getting there early in the day to avoid the crowds. Definately be prepared to get wet, and bring grippy shoes for clambering up wet boulders and walking through streams. There are blue shirted guides who can adopt you and help with tougher clambering spots, but be prepared to tip at the end, or just say you dont need their help. Reasonably priced tasty cafe on site.

Entrance was 13 lira in July. You then walk along the raised platform where you’ll reach an area with sweetcorn and ice cream. If you carry on to the water fall you will cross the cold section. Don’t be put off by the temperature as the further you get it is warmer. You need to wear clothes you don’t want to get wet, especially if going as far as the waterfall. Shoes are important as flip flops could easily get washed away. It takes about an hour to reach the waterfall and slightly less back. There are two bits where you have to be helped up by other people but you don’t need a guide. The parking spaces are confusing as some you pay for and some further away ones you don’t. If you want to be near you pay about 40 lira for the close one. You can also do rafting and visit the other gorge.

We visited just canyon with waterfalls. Wanted to swim, but water was too cold. Length of canyon about 4 km. We had walking on the water, feeling was amazing, but feet are completely frozen. In this case we didn’t walk long distance. For entrance we paid 13 TL per person.

A well serviced beautiful canyon park. An immersive experience in the nature, you can dip your feet in the cool water, go rafting , or ride the above water swing. Safe for children, you can take a helmet at the entrance. There is a low entry fee.

Very exciting experience. The landscape is breathtaking especially when walking inside the canyon between cliffs over your head. Recommend bringing proper swimming shoes as you will need to cross a rocky river with strong current and ice cold water in order to get to the canyon 😀

Beautiful unique place, adventurious walking, cold water, very enjoyable. The only minus - there are guides and they said that their job is guide the tourists through the canyon. They said also that tourists cannot go alone and said nothing about money... till the end of the tour. Very dissapointed.

Stunning gorge. Huge walls with very cold water flowing down it. Hard hats are available and worth it as I saw a few large pebbles smash into the water on my walk.13 Lira entrance fee then easy boardwalk for 500 metres with some nice seats to dangle your feet in the meltwater streams if you wish to finish here.If you want to go further bring your crocs (if they have not yet been donated to charityas the rocks underfoot are sharp, and slippery, and the rather poor knock offs they offer in the shop to buy or rent are not only uglier than crocs (it is possiblethey are also pretty uncomfortable.A rope can be held onto midstream although people still fall over (bring a drybag if possible, or a cheap phone). The only downside is the constant touting for business by the guides who want you to go further with them so they can upgrade their iphones to the latest waterproof model with the proceeds. I dont blame them, they are really good sales people, albeit persistent, but you dont really need to go any further as the views you get from the short walk in the water are spectacular and your feet and legs will thank you for being removed from the snow fed river.

Visited in July. This was one of the highlights of my trip. I love valleys n ravines like these. It is doable with a baby on your back, passing through the gushing river, trekking through the canyon, it was beautiful and a lot of fun. Really cool / cold water hence perfect for hot summers. Alot of water activities available here too, plus great fish and natural pomegranate juice!!

Great, wet experience 😊 We wore our rubber soled beach shoes which were good for climbing over slippery rocks, we also wore shorts. Walking through the water was a little chilly, it was knee high and above in some places, very enjoyable. There are guides to assist if required and a rope at the beginning is positioned for you to grasp while starting off, water is fast moving the further you go in but a really good experience to take part in on a hot day, the gorge is beautiful!

It was fantastic. One of the best places to see the power of nature. 5 or 15 km long, if I am not wrong. First 500 meters, you can go without the instructor "with low risk for your health and your property". But there are a few disadvantages: drowned walls and very annoying guides: they try to stick to you even for the first 500 meters. For the all-way long, they want 750TL. For 500m - 50TL per person.I advise you to take closed shoes with which you can go to the river and which river wont take with a strong flow. Also, you will need a plastic pack where you will put your backpack or other your stuff and be calm about your property getting wet. Also you have chance to get down of the river with little personal round rafts. 200TL for a person. In my opinion, it doesnt worth it. It was pretty short "rafting" (~15min), very safe (the river is 60sm deep), and the flow was calm.

Great fun. Dont bring a decent camera if you want to walk in the gorge. I went as far as the water coming up to my waist and then I turned back as didnt want my camera gear getting wet. Would love to repeat in a pair of old trainers. Dont even attempt in flip flops, either buy or rent the jelly shoes they have there. Great fun and beautiful scenery.

Its extremely interesting place with amazing views.Water is quite cold, its better to go in a sunny warm day.)Pay attention that most of the road is covered by dirty water- its better to buy or to take special watershoes. And dont be afraid of the guide- he will definitely make you trip more comfortable and safe.Price is 18 lira for entrance, 50 lira for boots and 150 lira for guide per person( at least thats what we were asked to pay)

Lovely area. The views are amazing. Unfortunately no one was allowed to walk through the canyon due to the amount of water from the rain the night before. In hindsight, its probably best to check the weather report not just for the day you travel on, but for the day(sbefore you arrive. Parking was no problem. Entrance cost 10lira for locals and foreigners. The price is the same regardless of whether you can walk the canon or not. Take water shoes etc and packed lunch. Would love to return..

Loved this place.Visited in Nov 21, you start walking along a wooden platform/path. Then rent footwear which I strongly recommend. Fortunately I had suitable footwear, you the cross a fairly strong flow of water holding onto a safety rope. Once on the other side, you criss-cross along the canyon walking through cold mostly ankle deep water. There is one route in/out. Kids can go a short way mostly unassisted. Ideal for the warmer season but still very enjoyable in November.

Absolutely gorgeous. Awesome brute power of the nature is felt there and not even the worst restaurants in the world can change my appreciation of this fact. Must see place but of course its better to visit in spring or autumn when there are not so many people with you to share this experience. It is not about the food or drinks or service - its about feeling the atmosphere so dont let yourself be distracted.

Amazing national park. The food by the cennet restaurant for lunch with the ducks was so beautiful and full of hammocks and looked like a little slice of heaven. We had breakfast near the water and came early. Breakfast is self serve a little confusing for tourist but was delicious. We then saw the waterfalls and you need water shoes to go past the canyons. There are corns ice cream etc and places to sit down and relax. We came back down to the breakfast area and got on the light water rafting which was really fun and beautiful. Overal amazing trip. There’s a dolmus (busthat takes you back to fethiye for 20 a person.

Must see location if your anywhere in the area. It was beautiful and the water is amazing. Lovely cafes to have a drink while sitting in the water. Be. Areful of the guides inside offering to help you on treacherous bits, they have a fixed price in mind their not saying and will argue you with you. You cant get to the waterfall through the gorge unless your ready for a serious scramble on tall wet rocks. And bring water shoes or buy them outside.
