Calle 23 #74 /16 y 14, La Villa, 24904 Calkiní, Camp., Mexico, Halacho
Sak Peek Hamburguesas - Hamburger restaurant in Halacho, Mexico
What a great atmosphere. Service, pork chunks, drinks, music, live music. Night before wedding, we will never forget it.
I give 1 star because menu sux not very much to order from. Expensive and not worth it.. I ordered a strawberry daiquiri and I have no idea what I got. Just a horrible drink for $15. Only good thing was the live band they were awesome. Not worth the money at all. Tiny place
Went today for some drinks and food. Food and cocktails were perfect and so was the music. Only thing was it was a little too crowded in the outside seating area but mainly due to the music. Overall great location in the gables. Will definitely be back
Horrible experience, overpriced food, mainly a drink place. The music is BLASTING in your ear, can barely hear the conversations in the table. When you sit down they advertise that it’s a $50 minimum and if you’re not going to pay that not to even sit down. The manager Pedro is a total jerk and is not willing to accommodate anyone. We as a party of 6 decided to leave. I was not going to give this place a single dollar for this horrible experience. We went to villagio instead. Please do yourself a massive favor DO NOT RECOMMEND PLEASE GO SOMEWHERE ANYWHERE ELSE IN THE AREA.
Had the worst experience with my party. Starting off with we had a reservation at 7 and called that we would be slightly late and arrive at 7:25 we asked to be seated inside and they said no. They sat us outside in a super small round table that barely allowed space for food for 4 people. When we asked why we couldnt sit inside they basically said because their live show started at 8 and you needed to spend minimum of $50 per person to be seated inside after 8 and if they sat us inside at 7:30 that wouldnt apply to us and they basically couldnt make money off of it. We then waited around 20 minutes for a server to come by, no water or anything was given yet. Drinks were bad and we had to chase down a server to change it, water was never filled again and everything was extremely slow. When dinner was over and it was almost 9 the show still HANDT started and tables where still available inside so the hostess could of easily allowed us inside but chose not to because maybe we didnt look like big spenders. We asked to speak with a manager and he NEVER came to our table. We had to CHASE him down inside the restaurant to talk to him he clearly didnt care about his upset guests. The only person that listened to us was Desiree. Food was not great but service was WORSE!
Our experience at the restaurant was one to FORGET! Went for Miami spice and it was horrible, 6 servers later and not being allowed to sit inside even though we had a reservation was horrific and to top it off the restaurant was completely empty inside. The food was horrible too, don’t recommend. Just go somewhere, anywhere else.
The ambiance has a nice tropical feel to it, other than that, the food was distasteful. The appetizer was very pleasing with a twist to the Cuban Timba (cheese & guavabut everything else was underwhelming. The ropa vieja lacked suace and flavor, the plantains were chopped into little pieces and were hard, and some of the rice grains were undercooked. My wife and I can also tell that the dulce de leches cheesecake was not made in house, had a cardboard/refrigerator taste to it. And to top it all off, everything is overpriced for the small portions they give. Definitely not going back .
We held one of our corporate dinners here while at an offsite in Coral Gables and IT WAS SO MUCH FUN. Claudio, Carlos, and Desiree were amazing - super attentive and helpful. They were very accommodating to our 48 person group. Shout out to them, the staff, and the band!
Flew from LA to Calle 23 to see one of my friend/business contact perform. Easy to find, clean exterior and interior. Plenty of parking space and plenty of table to site down. Live music, from a DJ performance to live performances from bands and artists. Professional customer service and amazing quality food. What to have an amazing experience with your family? Eat great traditional food, live music and a beautiful area where you can shop around. I highly recommend everyone to come and visit my friends at Calle 23.Let them know that Rome Royce ( film producer / music manager who works with Vilera send you.Enjoy
Calle 23 accepts reservation but they will honor it only if it suits them.I made a reservation on Thursday for Saturday at 8:30 pm for 4 persons. I later confirmed by return text to them that I would go. Then at 6:22 pm on Saturday evening, barely 2 hours before the reservation time, a lady calls me to “confirm the reservation”, when I answered positively that we are going, she casually says that they only have tables outside. I said that was unacceptable because on the hottest week of the year, I was careful to make sure my reservation was indoors. She could not care less. I asked for a manager and she replied he was not available. Of course I hung up and did not go. If you want to celebrate a special ocassion, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.
Went yesterday for Brunch to celebrate a friends birthday. We were 14. We had a great time for brunch. Our waitress Desiree was the best, amazing service non stop from her. Food was also good, the beef empanadas were delicious and La Frita Cubana was so good. Definitely will be going back!
Terrible experience. I know everyone has a different taste on food but so far this is the worst we have tried. I say we because we were a party of 3 and we all agree. This place is overrated and super expensive for the terrible food. The music was amazing tho. We ordered 3 virgin cocktail which did not have any flavor btw and no we weren’t drunk so this is an honest review. The food was terrible so salty and some without flavor. We ordered. The ham empanadas felt like spam on a dough. The churrasco flavor was bad and the chimichurri the same. The octopus flavor was nothing. To be fair and honest I will talk of the good things too, there were 2 good things from the menu. The best one was the habanero empanada and the pork belly (this one was okay). We even told our waitress which was amazing and showed her that we did not ate the food. That’s how bad it was and we pay 180 dollars for that. Paying was not that bad the bad part was paying and not eating. I believe that there are better places with more decent food.
Out waitress Desiree was AMAZING! Made out Birthday celebration a blast! Went above and beyond for us. Def recommend and ask for Desiree! Gracias!
Our experience was so good the first time we came about a year ago, that we decided to come back. When we came back, Angelica gave us the best service, she not only helped us with excelent service while having dinner, but also recommended good beaches to visit the next day while on vacation here in Miami. We returned the next day for the live music, great music, great service with Angelica, and a perfect night out, with my wife. The best ambience, service, music, and food. Thank you Angelica!
Terrible place to eat!!! In addition, the manager and the security of the place have no education or respect and don’t know how to deal with customers.
Not worth the price!! This place is small, and the food was not worth it all. I spent $200 and i feel completely ripped off! The restaurant was almost empty except for our table of 15 because we were celebrating a friends birthday. Honestly in miracle mile there are so many other great options, this place is not it. Definitely not coming here again. Never leave reviews but for this place I had to, I feel so ripped off.
The dress code policy is ridiculous to say the least. Went last night with a few friends and the host let us go in just fine. The moment we get to the door to go inside the bar, a “security” told us my friends fiancé couldn’t go in because he was wearing shorts. My friends fiancé was wearing dressy shorts with a nice collar shirt and nice shoes and couldn’t go in. Meanwhile, there were guys all over the place dressed super casual. You guys are a joke!
I came in on a Thursday night while Complices Band was plying live music and my experience was probably the best I’ve ever had on a night out. The staff were dancing with the music and so nice to us as well as the performers being passionate about their music and happy that we in the audience were dancing. 12/10 would come again!
Good atmosphere ! Good food ! 4 on 5 stars just because parking lots are a challenge in the area.
Wish that zero was an option based on today . we came here for brunch . Started out ok then after 1 water 1 coffee and the order was placed we never saw our waitress. Another waitress helped with a refill. After 45-50 minutes one of two simple entrée came out (chicken and wafflesdry chicken tenders , cold waffles? No butter, little syrup on the plate. We tasted it and asked for the manager, leaving without ever speaking. If we were told when we arrived of a long wait for food due to staff shortages or large parties inside we wouldn’t have wasted our time.
Excellent place to have a good time. Very good service and very friendly. Excellent croquettes and drinks.
These type of places thrive from the customer service and ambiance. Sadly this place fell short on customer service. I programmed my mother’s birthday, my brother flew in specifically for the night and Manager Pedro wouldn’t allow us in for my brother wearing shorts. Wouldn’t even have a conversation with us to accommodate us to the outside. Which was completely empty on Friday 5/20 at 10pm. I had a party of 6 people sitting in the table, waiting for the guest of honor being surprised, a large tab running and my brother who was walking in with the guest of honor was not allowed in. I had to take my party to another place. The outside was empty, why couldn’t we be offered to sit outside at the minimum? Instead Pedro told me he didn’t care and my brother would not be allowed in for wearing a designer short set. This an open restaurant in over 80 degree plus weather. The sad part is I waited till my mothers birthday and spoke highly of this place but after that night, I will make sure to let anyone know this is not the place I thought it was.
Went for happy hour and ordered two of everything on ther menu to share between a group of 4, and it wasnt filling (small servings). However, the thing that I did appreciate is every dish came out quick, hot, and fresh. The drinks were banging (strong!), so Id definitely say they were worth the happy hour price. Be careful though, we made it right as happy hour was about to end. We put in our first order which rang up as happy hour prices, but since we were still hungry, we ordered 2 entrees to share and a few more drinks. The total came to over $200🤯.
I am a social media influencer from Jersey city and heard of this place from a friend, on my trip to miami decided checked it out. The ambience was nice, and the servers were very friendly, the music was extremely loud and the food was okay, however i was in complete shock to find out that the skinny bartender with a man bun and white shirt (believe he said his name was criswas a total creep who hit on my underage little sister (SHES 15!!all night and served her a alcoholic beverage while i was in the bathroom without IDing her! I didnt find out till the next day, be aware of this this disgusting man apparently he is known to take different women from the bar to his home. DISGUSTING!! Never coming again. He deserves to be fired this is unbelievable. Never again
This place was Amazing, we were there around 5-6pm and sat outside. Food was spot on & we had perfect service from Angelica, she made our evening delightful with her happy positive attitude. Got the dimelo papi & el Caballero old fashion drinks unique & yummy. The house salad had plenty avocado & dressing was fabulous even for my husband who isnt crazy about mustard. Also tried la fritta cubana, the slider burgers with chorizo were like nothing we tasted before. Flavors were awesome, service was amazing! Thanks ❤️
Horrible Experience!!!!. I booked the table two weeks in advance and made sure that kids were allowed inside. When I got there they didnt let us in with our lil girl. They said they had changed that policy a week before AND didnt bother to let me know when they did. They sat us in a hallway that wasnt even part of the place, where anyone could pass by and bother us, supposedly the music was too loud for our child and they sat us next to the speaker! Outside! In the hallway! Food wasn’t even that good for the price we paid. Charged us almost $250 tip, even though the waitress was nice, but it was too much money. Do not recomended!
Terrible service since the we arrived we were told no babies and we had called two weeks ago and we were told that our baby was allowed to sit inside with us. We were sat in the hallway on the outside of the restaurant excluded from everything!!! P The manager was terrible nothing was resolved we asked for water over 5 times and no one would bring any, after everything being ruined for the night prices are extremely over priced we were 10 people and for every tab we were charged 50$ tip !!!!! On each one terrible and extremely disrespectful will never be coming back to this place KEEP AWAY FROM THIS PLACE IF YOU VALUE YOUR MONEY !!!!!!!
WORST place I’ve gone to in a while… Horrible service and staff. My friend made a reservation 2 weeks prior and didn’t let us in and sat us in a hallway that was not even part of the restaurant. We ordered 2 appetizers 2 entrees 2 drinks $200. THE FOOD WASNT EVEN GOOD. Churrasco was a mini sized. No space to dance to enjoy the music. ZERO STARS. ALSOOOO MY DRINK HAD A FLY
Two stars because the style of this place is cool, and the staff was friendly. This is a true brunch party place with loud music, but the food was awful. My churasco omelet for $17 had 3 microscopic peaces of churasco (2nd picserved with potatoes that tasted like fish. We will not come back.
Thursday night they put live music with a dúo called "Los Acomplices" - the lead male singer is amazing - he sounds like the real deal. Amazing vibes, small, intimate, wholesome good fun! Their energy was amazing, good drinks by Christo who will throw his whole body into the shaker shaking to the rhythm. Was not planning on stopping here (was going to Copper next doorbut this was way more fun. Also, patatas bravas were on point(!Super unexpected awesome Thursday night! 🤪
Exceptional location for brunch! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! Great music by DJ Zilla! We were a big group (13 peopleand no one was left unattended thanks to ANGELICA!!! The best and most attentive server we could have possibly asked for! 💗 she also gave us great recommendations to try like the manchego cheese croquetas and the ropa vieja with eggs & tostone plate as a main. $25 for unlimited mimosas, mojitos, sangrias or Bloody Mary and the best part? You can change options whenever you’re in the mood to drink something else from the list! Great brunch experience 🥰
An over priced restaurant. A churrasco ( maybe 8onz steak with 3 plantainsfor $32. I mean, c’mon guys, for that price at least add some rice and canned beans!!!Despite the price, I ordered 2 of those and meat came out cold on both plates!! Server took it back and said they will warm it up in the microwave for us. She apologized at least!Drinks menu wasn’tThe best to choose from. I’d rather go elsewhere and spend same money for a better drinks & food quality!I don’t mean to put this place down but this is just my personal point of view about this place!🙏🏻
Delicious cocktails. Good service and very clean place... ohh the music!! Old school salsa and todays hits.
Great place. They have live music and a DJ. The environment its great service was awesome. Food not a lot of choices. The grilled octopus was great but they ran out 2 hours later when asked for a 2nd order. The meat empanadas are great I definitely recommend. Drinks are great I definitely recommend the Calle Mule. Awesome place definitely recommend
It was my 1st time coming here and everything excellent starting for the service ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ i wish I could rated with more stars. Carlos took care of us excellent excellent customer service and attention we couldn’t even ask for refills or something he was all the time attentive at every customer not only at my group. The food came up delicious and fresh the ambiance wow , the thematic beautiful with Cuban slogans. Highly recommended ✨
The food and service were generally very good. Until it came to trying to get invited inside from outside the outdoor patio right beside the main entry. Even though my husband and I were appropriately dressed, we were denied entry because my husband was wearing flip-flops. It was an extremely humiliating experience, made to feel that we were somehow inferior. They accepted our money for dinner and drinks, but because of our foot attire, who know one would have seen, we were judged and denied entry. Most of the staff tried to get the manager to make an exception, but the manager was unrelenting. We found another venue, but we will never patronize this venue ever again.
Heyy! Y’all looking for a brunch place ?? This ain’t it. Food is limited and according to their reviews been limited for a long time. Upon arrival ambience was great, and young staff were nice. Clearly.. after ordering $25 unlimited drinks for ONE, our waitress had the audacity to state you need to order a minimum of 2 appetizers if not “tip more” AFTER already ordering the drink when the only available appetizer were 2 listed on the menu. A finesse. If it wasn’t cause I wanted to leave I would’ve definitely requested to speak to a manager and would suggest you guys to do the same, if the waitress says this to you and not mention the disclaimer. Disclaimer wasn’t even on the website. Not worth it. Abuela makes better empanadas.
Okay so let’s get started with this one! I ordered the Grilled Chicken with rice, beans and maduros. The chicken managed to be both burnt and cold at the same time, an amazing feat of gastronomy I suppose. The rice tasted like it was old, refrigerated and heated in the microwave; not surprising given how there’s fried rice on the menu. However you don’t serve regular old rice to your patrons as the taste is awful! The beans themselves were undercooked and still hard in the center making for a crunchy experience.I was with three other people and one of the members of my party didnt get their entree until we all had either eaten our food or decided that enough was enough. Shameful service and it seems like the waiters were simply being overworked doing every job in the Front of House. The only reason the review isn’t lower is because the Bantofe Cake is was enjoyable, and the environment was pleasant. However the chef needs to have some new training as that meal was unacceptable!
Good drinks, they add a good amount of alcohol in the drinks, bottles are way overpriced cheaper at doral or broward🙈.Good music by dj (English and Spanishor the live Spanish music on the same night. They also have good food. The employees are very nice from waiters, doorman to Yunet and company in the bar 🙌🏼
I came here and thought how cute this restaurant was. But unfortunately the service is terrible and the food is over priced and nothing special. I ordered the chicken and waffles and everything was very dry. Asked the waitress for syrup and she never brought it out because she was too busy twerking with other customers. We ordered bottomless mimosas and we had it refilled only twice in the hour and a half that we were there so deff not worth the $25 dollars. Oh and 18% gratuity is already included so it makes sense why the waitresses here are so careless. I would never go back or recommend this place again.
Had an amazing experience. The best meal we have had in Miami. Great shareable plates along with larger plates as well. Gabriel and Carlos were incredible!! So accommodating and conversational. Helped us with all selections from drinks on. We will definitely be back.
AMAZING place! We felt like locals here. Our server and the rest of the staff was the best! Shout out to Nicco he was the best and super friendly. Brunch was the best which they have on Sundays. I cant complain about anything on the menu. If you are visiting Miami please go here you will not regret it!
Our waiter was Elizabeth super patience & easy/ out going the unlimited drinks was an excellent choice
Food was soso . Chicken and waffles was not that good. Chicken was not cook welll. Empanadas was good..bottomless was not necessary. Tables were not sturdy; one of our plates fell and broke. Service was not too great; waitress forgot my order. Did not receive it until after I paid the bill. The best part was the ambiance.
Everything is amazing and on point! Delicious food, great drinks and awesome atmosphere. The staff is very helpful, friendly and professional. Entire staff, including the manager, made our party feel right at home.5 stars all the way! If you ever in the area definitely check them out!
Calle 23 is a nice new party restaurant in Miracle Mile. Came here for bottomless brunch for my girlfriends birthday with her friends and we had a great time because one of the managers, Alec, went above and beyond to help us out.The food was great but the server was gone for 90% of the time. I get that it was Sunday and she was busy, but she seemed very inexperienced and was in the weeds the whole entire time we where there.Luckily Alec was able to basically take care of the whole table and made sure that my girlfriend had a great time which is what I really cared about.
Live music great service, cant say enough a about the delicious food, a must try their famous rice. Go and have a great time💃
Such a fun and lively little bar. Our bartender Christo was welcoming, friendly and may or may not know Spanish. He graciously took exactly one million photos of us (even while we were exceptionally loud and boisterously singing the PR hit ‘Suavementeeeeeee’).Feedback for management: consider adding the ‘Philadelphia’ to your cocktail list.
The food, vibe and service from (Desiree de Venezuelawas amazing! I really recommend this place! Unlimited mimosa and sangria on weekend. $30 on sat (meal includedand $25 on Sunday (no meal, but live entertainment included).
We ate brunch here for a friends birthday. And it was truly worth the 45 minute drive! The food is amazing and the atmosphere made it feel like you were in Cuba. The shrimp empanadas is the best I ever had. Just had to order a second serving.
