Good monastery, they have morning prayers and everyone is welcomed. They offer accommodation and have a great restaurant for dining.

Amazing view, surrounded by green hills, great food and drinks in the restaurant. Not so crowded. The Monastery is worth going there.

Many are not aware, but inside the church are the holy remains of the saint Joakim form Osogovo. There are not many monasteries in Macedonia that hold such holiness at their premises. St. Joakim, may God bless us all.

Monastry near city of Kriva Palanka, located in forest, the place itself will give you calm and chill. There is an restaurant and rooms to sleep. Spacious parking space and 2 roads that lead to the monastry.Worth a visiting

Very good, the beds are very confortables, there are a lot of stairs but is worth it once you get to the place.

It is a perfect place to recharge the batteries. It is located high in Osogovo Mountains. There is a restaurant serving tasty traditional food. I have been going 3-4 times a year and everytime its an unforgettable experience.

Amazing place with amazing view and nature.

Small but very well maintained and preserved orthodox monastery with two churches - smaller, dedicated to the Holy Mother of God, built in the 14th century and bigger one, built in 1851 and dedicated like the whole monastery to St. Joachim of Ossogovo.The monastery is next to the city of Kriva palanka in the Republic of Northern Macedonia and just 10 km from the Bulgarian border.It is very picturesque with all the buildings there, situated as in amphitheatre. Definitely is one of the most beautiful monasteries I have seen. In the big church there are very good paintings including of St. Ivan Rilski and St. Alexander Nevski

Beautifull place in the mountains!

If you are passing through Krava Palanka on your way to Skopje or Sofia this is by far the best places to stop for a 30min rest. There is a big sign on the main road and only 2-3 min drive on a narrow, winding, but very good road all the way to the monastery.This is one of most beautiful monastery complexes, with preserver architectural purity, situated in a picturesque mountain slope with magnificent view to the valley.Both of the churches, dated from 12th and 19th century are decorated both inside and outside with frescoes and icons of orthodox saints and have exquisite walnut wood-carved iconostasis and furniture.There is a restaurant on one of the higher terraces, but we did not have time to eat here.

Church is old and beautiful,here is place for coffee,eat and rest also they offer rums.
