Wonderful place to visit parkWith family or couple

This is an amazing place to picnic. I have gone 5 times with my friends. And I enjoyed there too much and fantastic. There is also a swimming pool here and many people swim here and enjoy themselves but dont give any glass, or costumes. It means swimming materials. There are a lot sahid smark which means the young man was lost his life for country. Thats why this place is called sahid smarak. There is a long like a statue. Which is amazing to see. There are more space for picnic. Many people can make for picnic at once time. This place is big.

Well maintained. Clean. Great for the kids. But added costs for the hanging bridge and a small palace for pictures was not expected. Not expensive though, so didnt mind it.

Good place in Hetauda to visit. Have several things to get enjoy and spent the time. Still seems to manage and give appropriate place for the animal kept. Rest are very good. Suggested to visit.Even after 5 years the animals are kept in very poor quality and place. This is only the issue I feel very bad here. This is cruelty.

Very beautiful place to visit around hetauda. We can also go for picnic as they have dedicated trust made for picnic.

Its a beautiful place to visit with friends and. Family .While visiting make sure you have a student ID to get some relief in ticket .by the way the ticket only cost Rs 40 for Nepalese citizenship holder

All are good but at bike park they take price for parking but on bill they have mentioned that they wont take responsibility if lost. Its not good.

Zoo should be more filled with animals. Except for that, everythings almost fine.

Sahid Smark is one of the most famous parks in Hetauda which is a unique place constructed in the memory and honor of Martyrs of Nepal situated in Hetauda district of central Nepal. The memorial park was established on 2051 B.S, and the main attraction of this park consists of fun park, Zoo and beautiful garden within the radius of 2 km west from the main city of Hetauda.The memorial park (Sahid Smarkcontains a memorial stone with the faces of 13 martyrs carved in it. The main attractions of the park are the sculptures of these martyrs that are sculpted on one big boulder which was accomplished by the student volunteers of Nepal Lalit Kala Campus. There is also a small memorial garden for Madan Bhandari namely Madan Batika. The place is best-suited for refreshment purpose too as it consists swimming pool and ferries wheel. Likewise, another attraction over here is a zoo that consist animals such as deer, leopard, guinea, crocodile, tortoise and rabbits and the whole area is surrounded by Saal and Salla trees. The sides of the park are paved with grass and offering some benches around the park allowing the visitors to relax under the shade and enjoy the view. Different species of shrubs and palm trees can be seen in the park which shows it riches in vegetation.Nevertheless, Sahid Smark is mostly famous as a picnic spot among younger generations for spending their holiday in this beautiful park. The park also features swimming pool mostly for youngsters during summer time and playing area for kids especially. The peace place with awesome environment is considered as the best refreshment as well as relaxation place as recreational center which attracts a lot of domestic as well as foreign tourists.

The park is melting pot of fun park, swimming pool, zoo, and picnic spots and many other interesting models. Its mainly focused on the theme of martyrs of Nepal.

Very nice place to hangout and have picnics. They have sheds for picnic as well. Good parking space and the gardens are well maintained. Kids zone and the zoo added a layer to the experience. Id give it a five Star if it had clean toilets but overall, a must go place if youre in the area.

A great place to hangout with friends and family. Alot of animals were kept in zoos like area. You can also play swings and just roam here and there for the day. There was a suspension bridge too where you can take some good pictures as well he crowd is minium there.

This a piece of Switzerland in Nepal. People is taken this as a great picnic spot ever than others in Nepal. But, this is great to be there if u want to visit it. Sahid Smarak is situated at the west of Hetauda city. It is one of the famous parks in the Hetauda. Among the popular attractions of Hetauda it is the unique place that was constructed to honor the martyrs of Nepal, including the ones who lost their lives since the time of British colonial wars to the ones who overthrew the autocratic Panchayat system in 1989.
