Saffron Khan’s Restaurant in Sharjah

Warm friendly service starting with the most refreshing fatoush salad, then a tasty succulent mixed grill, followed by a range of veg, chicken and meat curries accompanied with soft naan and finished with a delightful ras malai. Overall impressed with the food and left a happy customer.

We ordered a mix platter for 3, palak paneer, channa masala and garlic naan. In the platter sheek kabab and chicken lahori was good. Garlic naan was nice and had the flavours Of garlic. But the disappoint was they said the Zomato gold offers not valid anymore and top of it during payment they said the card machine not working, which was not acceptable for a restaurant of such standards. Other wise price vise also they are reasonable.

Chicken chilli is very good among all the other chicken dishes. For those who is vegetarian, Mix veg they should try coz its very good. The washbasin area was filled up by used tissues paper. They did not have bin to put the waste there. Thats the reason of giving 3 star.

Hello every pakistani families .I just want to share that I visited yesterday saffron khan restaurant to eat the food I order butter Naan, chicken dum baryani and mutton Shahi kabab. We was so much hungry when we start to eat first thing the butter Naan was cold not fresh we found one hair from chicken dum baryani and chicken in the biryani was not fresh. kebab was not well cooked and when u cut it from middle and from in side coming some smell. I eat in UAE so many restaurant this was the worst. Tasteless food I never bad comments on food but really I am sorry to say that even I call to waiter there is one slim guy with glasses. I show to him every thing even little food we eat and we left from there and I just pay to them and I left. There is no have 0 star 🌟 other wise I will give 0.thanks

Ordered Dum Biryani.Got biryani with small green chutnye... No salad... Very dry chicken piece...In compare with small restaurants.. Same quantity, Not good quality and double price.And Why Double price for water bottle ?

Thats the only time i cried while eating coz I got to know food could be so tasteful that i started missing those who are no more and missed the opportunity to taste some of the best heavenly cooked meals. And not only me, all my family members who are avid food lovers were mesmerized by the meals cooked and served here. Just too good.

I give this place 5 stars, in sharjah it is the only restaurant that I found that was clean and presentable. The food is absolutely amazing and delicious. The masala wings, and mix veg curry is excellent. I got an outstanding and friendly service from subhan, whilst all the staff are brilliant. I highly recommend this place to all good food lovers who enjoy eating well made food in a very clean environment. Well done to all. The owner really needs to appreciate the staff here they all really deserve it. I live in london and I was truly blown away..

Visited first time with family, delicious food.Value for money.

It is decorated in a fun style with overtones of a take away restaurant, but dont let that fool you. The food is sublime a d the service exceptionalI was pleased that the spice levels were explained, lots of options for bread and the drinks were amazing.Highly recommended.

Visited yesterday as a group of 11 and received great food and great service. Staff were very polite and helpful throughout. Restaurant was very accommodating for us with 2 young children.Went for a quick bite for an evening. Had the theatre Menu with a couple of extras. Great food with good price. Service good

My third time here, it was still excellent. It was an early suhoor so I ordered only a plate of mutton seekh kebabs and a portion of butter chicken with some garlic naan and ahh... thinking about it makes my mouth water! Amazing, amazing, AMAZING food. Really desi style. Beautiful restaurant and very clean. I absolutely recommend to all. You really feel like you are dining somewhere special, much better than the other Pakistani restaurants in Sharjah.

A bit expensive but worth the food.The reason for giving them low rating is coz there are a bunch of cheaters. We had zomato gold in that he has discounted water and considered as food. Upon showing him the conditions manager was not ready to accept his mistakes .We contacted zomato and got the diah discounted. Even though manager didnt had the courtesy to accept and appologies.

Believe me guys, if u want such tasting authentic tasty desi food just try out the food here, u need to try it just once to appreciate what I’m saying. They have got THE best bbq and I’ve tried many many places in sharjah and Dubai. So soft and tasty. Their fattoush salad is really different than in other places (a good different)I recommend the mirch chicken dish, coriander and garlic rice, bbq (of course lemon and mint drink, prawns, daal and cheese mushrooms.The restaurant is so beautiful and spacious inside and they even have separate space for men and women prayer. They even have baby changing facilities!I’ve had take away and dining in, I prefer dining in cos the food comes steaming hot to the table (plus there’s no washing up afterwards 😉)

Amazing, amazing, AMAZING food. Really desi style. Beautiful restaurant and very clean. I absolutely recommend to all. You really feel like you are dining somewhere special, much better than the other Pakistani restaurants in Sharjah. They also have an area for Salah which is excellent for ramadhaan especially. We went for the ramadhaan buffet. An excellent spread, especially the BBQs and desserts. They have both desi and western desserts. The price was less than 50 dhs which I thought was very reasonable. My favourite was the fish, Chinese and desserts. Keep up the good work Saffron

The best BBQ in town! A must-try! Everytime I come from the UK, I love having dinner at Saffron with my family and friends. Food is always fresh and lovely atmosphere. I especially love their Roghni Naan and Butter Chicken!

Good variety of vegetarian and non vegetation options... Around aed 50 per person for a fantastic buffet. Only problem is that sometimes, the food is not fresh and it is cold. Service is okay.

Just love this place and their food too. Staff are super friendly, their service is also good. They have a buffet system.

Food was very good. Enjoyed alot.The only thing didnt like is that they charge full Buffet price for above six. It should be half from 6 to 10 years of age.The sitting arrangement is very tight. Not easy to move..Worth going...👍

The food was really great, I enjoyed it very much. People there are so helpful cheerful and smiley.The guy Ali was efficient thanks for him that he brought me special order.

This is the best place for bbq, biryani and desi dishes.Food quality is excellent and prices are reasonable. Family friendly and good service. If you are a bbq lover you cant go wrong. Staff is very receptive and you can tell them how to prepare your food.

I highly recommend Saffron restaurant to everyone who loves and appreciates great Pakistani cuisine. My husband, my mother in law and I were provided with warmth, kindness and amazing hospitality. All the dishes were beautifully presented, full of yummy flavours, colours and freshness. The portions were very generous and the prepreration did not take long at all. A heartfelt thank you to the staff and chefs!

Ambience is good. Food quality is average. They lied me about one dish- ‘Tawa Gurda Fry’. They told me while explaining from menu it’s from Indian/Pakistani mutton- but it turned out to be from Australian lamb which we didn’t like at all. Chicken hari mirch dish was good to try at.

Would have rated 5 for overall but Mutton Karrahi wasnt the one you expect in a Pakistani reaturant. Little expensive but Ill visit again for a 2nd opinion. Overall atmosphere is excellent for family dining out.

That was our worst experience we ever had while dinning out with family. When we enter the restaurant waiter came and use hard words and almost ordered my 6 year old daughter to sit. We were in a mood of something light. So ordered for Chicken Sweetcorn Soup, Chefs Tawa Mix (considering their Chefs specialty), Daal Makhani, Tandori Nan. but we end up with worst ever soup, Tawa mix with very bad smell of Rotten meat, taste less daal with highly unprofessional staff and above all very costly. Lal Qilla and BBQ tonight Dubai is cheaper with very tasty and good quality buffet. Afterwards we decided to have some desserts to fill ourselves as we hardly could eat something. So we ask for ice cream (Vanilla the only available flavorand zafarani kheer. Ice cream was just OK but atleast we could able to finish it. However, Zafarani Kheer was the only thing which was good. WORST EXPERIENCE

Good to try once. I tried Dal Makhani and Palak kofta. Both are really good to taste. Tasted butter chicken, it seems to be sweet which i dont recommend for the ones who prefer some spices on their tongue. )

Amazing food!!! It has to be the best desi food in SharjH!!! You must give it a try, especially the mouth watering BBQ and I just love the hummous and fattoush salad.The restaurant itself is really stylish and clean. Helpful waiters too.A really nice place to dine in. At Weekends parking is a bit of a problem though but you might find some round the back.

Pls dont go for breakfast here, it will take them 20-30 minutes to get you your order, paya that I never seen before and its expensive as well, halva wasnt cooked properly and not that sweet as well, Naan is good, dining arrangement is good and service is good as well but not the food

First time ever in my life I have seen a RESTURANT OWNER who is more concerned about his restaurant reputation instead of his customers respect. I must say that he dont know ABC of hospitality/ customer services.I wonder how can a restaurant owner humiliate his customers in front of their families/ friends/ guests without knowing the facts and still expect a positive feedback for his service offerings.Over a small misunderstanding which was caused by his staff, he completely mishandled the situation and ruined our gathering.That was my FIRST & LAST visit to the restaurant and I would say if you can sacrifice your respect over food please feel free to visit.

Very bad service confirmed booking showed them calls and someone forgot to note it down. I had guests and all experience was very unpleasant. The bad thing was that they kept denying there was any booking... simply not recommended..Update: worst part is because of this review the owner harassed us in front of the family for leaving the review. He shouted and said I am lying when I showed the proof the person from his restaurant called me for confirmation. He apologized but so bad attitude and behavior. This thing never happened before but felt humiliated by the owner.Worst part is that he was so proud of his behavior. When I showed him proof of calls being made and even a call back from a restaurant he wasn’t accepting his mistake.I will never recommend this place to anyone because the owner insults you in front of your families.

Not a good place for authentic taste. We tried BIRYANI and KARHAI (Pakistanidishes. But big disappointment. Decorum is good. Crockery is of good quality. Service was OK but a little bit expensive than average.

For once... A restaurant with good food AND great service!From the time we walked in, we were treated like guests. In all the decades weve been in the UAE, not once has it happened this way.Our waiter, Hamayun, gave us good suggestions while being sharp and attentive. The other waiters were equally friendly and helpful.We ordered hummus and roti as starters while we waited for the main course. The hummus was one of the best weve had... the olives just melted in the mouth. For those who havent tried hummus with tandoori roti... youve got to give it a try.Main course was Chicken HariMirch with some garlic naan and tandoori roti. The portion was smaller. About 30% less, but only in comparison. It wouldve sufficed for one person to two person. It was made with boneless chicken. We ordered a few more rotis. Delicious!Next was Falooda. It wasnt the Bombay type. But good all the same. The nay reason for the criticism is better cause were HajiAli Juice Center types for Falooda. Do try theirs all the same.In the end, I dont know if I would return for their delicious food or their service, both of which were excellent!And... Oh yes... There is parking at the back and front usually... There is no valet parking, although the restaurant displays this sign on its glass facade.

Opened by a British Asian expat. Clean and well maintained. Food is delicious and freshly cooked in open kitchen infront of you. Good service and reasonable prices too. If going from Dubai best day is Friday as streets are empty.

We ordered sweet corn chicken soup, butter naan, zafrani chicken and dal makhaani.Soup was just average. Not great and not recommended.Butter naan was delicious. The best weve had recently.Zafrani chicken is not spicy and is tasty.Dal makhani was tasty too.Great service and friendly staff. They were happy to open upstairs for service upon our request.

Visited first time this Saturday morning for breakfast. Taste was good. Quantity was good too. Neat and clean place. The only issue we had was order delivery time. They took quite a time for even a cup of tea (halwa poori is other than this).Rest it was good experience. Staff was good as well. Outside parking is available easily. Family hall on first floor.Definitely will try it for dinner/ lunch.

Saffron Restaurant:Top of the best Pakistani Desi Cuisine in Sharjah.was on visit with my friends, being a pakistani i we were craving for the Desi Chatkharay Dar food. Tried many Restaurants in neighbourhood but the Facilities which Saffron Provides to the customers i think i never found in other Restaurants of Sharjah.First of All they have a Live Kitchen concept so the customers can see their food being prepared in front of their eyes with full satisfaction of the Hygienic Food. On asking from the manager they informed us that all the Equipments and the design has been set by the British Laws which is Quiet Impressive, coz its hard to find such a Clean and Full Hygienic Pakistani Restaurant in Sharjah. Well Trained, Well Behaved, Experienced and Friendly Staff. Waiters informs all the customers during taking orders that your order will be on your table within 15-20mins coz you wont find anything precooked in this restaurant and must say (i had one of the best BBQ in Sharjahthats why they took this much time which i think is the best thing.Now Coming to the Facilities:1.They Have such a beautifull, Adorable and comfortable Private Family Rooms for the families and for those who use to wear veil, Most Impressive thing is that they have putted the Pagers in All Family Rooms so if any customer needs anything they just simply ring the bell and call the Waiter.2. They have a space for Namaz.3. They have Baby High Chairs.4. They have Baby Changing Station.5. Excellent Pakistani cuisine on offer at Saffron UAE. Quite easily the best South Asian cuisine I have ever had, anywhere in the world. I strongly recommend trying the chefs specials: fatoush salad, chicken biriyani with a side serving of biriyani sauce (out of this world!), raita (yoghurt and cucumber condiment), mixed grill, vegetable pakora curry and the lemon and mint drink. The manager and owner are both on hand to ensure a great customer experience.There is also seating upstairs for families, with private rooms, closed booths with floor seating and also screened tables. Lots of parking spaces are available outside and it is located in a very trendy part of Sharjah.Prices are very reasonable and there are always several discount offers available at the restaurant (speak to the manager about this).All in all, an excellent and trendy place for family dining without delicious food on offer. I had heard a lot about this restaurant so decided to visit it on a weekend. Right from the interiors, ambience, staff, service and the food is excellent. Tried their Qeema Tawa, Bihari Kabab and Fish Tikka biryani which was just amazing. I would highly recommend it for families looking for a decent and cozy environment. Private cubicles are spacious and comfortable. Ill be visiting again to try more from their menu.
