Safford Inn & Suites in Safford

It is an older run down hotel. Needs some major upgrades. Has stained old green carpet in the rooms which I did not walk barefoot on. The beds were ok but small for queen sized. Walls are very very thin as we could hear the girls in the room next to us start talking fairly loudly at 2am and didnt quit till the sun came up. Also the wifi is very spotty as I tried to play some white noise to drown them out and the sound of the traffic outside. Since this hotel is on the main drag. Employees were friendly but didnt look as if they worked there as they were in all sorts of dress. Wont stay there again.

I woke up in the middle of the night crawling with bedbugs. Ive never had that happen before, so I wasnt sure at first, but when I turned the lights on, they were all over me.

The pool was empty and stagnant water maybe 6 inches in deep end been there awhile. Hair on towels. Cockroach leg in bathroom. Dirty hand prints on chair. Loud AC. Wifi wasnt working on my phone. The place was not thoroughly cleaned. The pillows were square box size squished. The receptionist at check in was not in uniform, very unprofessional see-thru white low-cut cleavage shirt. No judgement, other than it is unprofessional attire. The ladies at check out were in uniform. Also, at check in, the woman wasnt sure if our room was occupied. Breakfast is grain bars, cereal. Muffins. Not too bad.

Its right off the main road, great parking to keep an eye on your vehicle. Rooms had space, very clean and lighting was just right. Overall we had a great night and stay. Thank you to the staff 👍🏻

All the rooms are pet friendly so you can imagine what they smell like. On top of that they still allow the rooms to be smoked in! Friendly staff tried their best to try to find a room that wasnt stinky but no luck.If you are expecting to connect to wifi, youd better look elsewhere.

Bring your own pillow. I had to fix the sink and the shower leaked. My buddys fridge didnt even have a plug...

Very clean! Beds were extremely comfortable. So nice that we stayed two more nights!

Do not stay here if you are looking to get some rest!Parking is a joke, heater/ac rattled all night, and if that doesnt keep you awake all night the tweekers in the next room will.Not worth the savings!!

Always a great place to stay every time we visit friends in the area.

There was tweakers next to us. If you dont like sleep this is a 5* place! If you enjoy people arguing all night long then this is the place for you! If you enjoy drug deals all day and night this is the place for you!

The room was clean and the staff was really kind loved my visit and stay there being from Prescott it was a reasonable price too

Went through three rooms and decided on a refund. First room had bugs all over carpet and what looked like crumbs. Second room was nonsmoking but reeked of cigarettes and had burn spots on bead spread. Room number three…. The killer. Dried urine on the toilet seat! Adios!

Very nice hotel staff, helped us when we needed a place to stay. May not have a fancy pool but the air worked and the beds and towels were clean. We would stay there again.

No ice at check in. Was put in a room where smoke alarm was beeping constantly because of missing wire (not simple batteriesso had to be moved to another room that was missing batteries in the channel changer. One chair in room had dark stains on its seat. Cant understand why it had so many clients there other than choices are slim.

The beds are so comfortable and the towels are always so white and clean and soft its the best place to stay in town

Ive always had a pleasent say at this hotel..Very Clean,staff is very out going and friendly.and if a problem arise they were always fast ,curious,and very attentive on handling the problem quickly to my exspectations,but honestly I have never had a major issue staying at this hotel.the biggest problem I ever had was letting the attendant know they were out of a certain pastery at breakfast..

Carpet was wet and the neighbors we very loud and AC kept turning off.

Place is great the ive been here 2 times and the service was great and rooms were clean. Shea at front desk is awesome and will take care of any inconvenience with a smile... a good place to stay at a cheaper price

Person at front desk younger Mexican lady was very rude and I was highly afended by what she said to me no how people should talk to customer s pay good money to stay here should be fired for how she talk to me and my wife

This is an older motel, however, we found it to be very well kept, clean and comfortable room and bed. The staff was very friendly and our free continental breakfast was very good. I definitely would stay here again.

Decent little hotel. The staff was friendly and accommodated my moving truck and trailer. They also let us check out later too which was nice as we had run the Tri City Tri that morning.

Easy check in. Pool was empty when we were there, the breakfast was mostly cereal and coffee with some fruit and cold drinks available. A/c took forever to cool down the room and TV wouldnt turn on.

Reserved a room with my pets. Room was cleaned when you look, TV is small. After settling in and unpacking. I laid down, there was hair on the pillows as well as pet hair. It seemed as if it was not cleaned properly or maybe even rushed. (There is a pet shedding fee). Anyway, I noticed these little tiny bugs on the carpet and on the restroom walls. I would notice 2 or three here and there. I’d kill them. And the next day, there was more. I do not know what they are. I loaded up and checked out. Told the ladies in front. They didn’t say sorry or wanted to make it better.No pool. Bed was soft. Pillows were soft. Stains on the bed cover.

Very clean rooms and great service. Been here before and will come again in the future. Bummed about not having a pool but I can live without..

Upon opening the door, I was greeted by the smell of smoke, even though I reserved non-smoking Carpets were filthy. I wore my shoes the whole time so I didnt have to walk on it barefoot. Comforter on the bed had a large mysterious looking stain that I dont think I want to know what it was caused by. The pillows are soft but the size of sofa cushions. TV doesnt have a remote. It has a box with buttons for power and channel changes. I couldnt turn it on because the power button has I guess been pressed too hard in the past and is broken. Toilet handle is barely hanging on. There is a nice red light in the bathroom ceiling. All it needs is a stripper pole. Wasnt happy with this place. I told the lady at the desk when I checked out about the carpet and the bedspread. I got a non-caring "oh, sorry" in response. Wont stay here again.

Rooms are a bit on the dirty and boring side and the wifi sucks. Super slow. Great view though.Not...

The room was dirty. There were old used Q-Tips on the floor when we arrived. Like other people have commented there is no proper place to walk your dog. Will not stay here again.

Two stars because the bed and bathroom were clean. But, the carpet in the room was revolting. Sticky, very stinky, and covered in large. Blotchy, very suspect stains. Traffic is very noisy until after midnight.

They have a nice rooms swimming pool hot tub friendly people very quiet place

Room was clean. Check in was easy. Bed was just OK, a little hard, even for me who lkes a firm bed. Pool was empty of water but full of debris. Wi-fi didnt work, air conditioner was loud and rattled all night. Only stayed one night, luckily. Would not have stayed a second night. Overall, cant really recommend.

I give this motel all 5 stars, the customer service alone was the best Ive ever encountered - Angelica who ran the front desk was super sweet and understanding! The room was very spacious as was the bathroom/shower. I liked that it had a mini fridge, microwave &even a blow dryer all in the room! My family and i will definitely be staying at Safford inn &Suites every time we come to town! Thank yu Angelica!-customer from rm 105 😊

The hotel was relatively cheap compared to th withers in town, it was nice but bed sheets had a couple stains on them, spiderweb found on out side wall. The biggest disappointment was no pool, it had been drained for what looked like a while. The continental breakfast was nothing great just pastries. Overall it was okay just not great.

Sadly enough the pool was closed especially when its hot like now a cool dip in the pool would have been nice. rooms where okay. Staff was realy friendly and breakfast was good.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms and bedding are very clean. Would be a big plus to get the pool working.

Place is well kept and the staff is always super helpful whether it was 1230 AM when I checked in or 500 AM when I checked out they were over the top in making sure I was satisfied.

Great place to stay. Super nice staff and close to good food. VERY economical!
