The coolest drive-in safari experience ever! A must see when in Israel!

It was beyond amazing! Its a must activity in my opinion it hits different being around wild life at night.

on of the places you wont get sick of it no matter how many times you visited it ..its suitable for all ..the only comment i had , that the prices are so expensive for drinks , gifts or any things you would buy inside the zoo or outside

The place is not maintained as one would of expected.The entire zoo is full of rats, even in the bears cage!!! The ponds in the animals cages are so filthy that it is difficult to see the bottom of the pond. Moreover, the crocodiles surrounding is very dirty, filled with trash and plastic bottles. Also, we hardly saw the lions because they were far away and their yard is surrounded by an electric wire that prevents them from approaching the cars.It was a fun experience for the kids, they enjoyed it.However, very disappointing...

Nice safari. Variety of animals are there. But they are away from observation points. Bring binoculars if possible. Bringing your own vehicle is better as you can spend time as per your wish.

A nice big Zoo, lots of animals. Its the third time I arrived. I didnt see the black panter anymore.You cant find the Tiger.The orangutan apes cage is just sad. No real trees, no shelter from the sun. Yet the gorillas had a huge cage with trees in it.The glass for observation is usually very dirty which makes it hard to see through.At Friday when all the people get to go out and explore Israel, the Zoo keeps minimum staff. Not many food stops and the food isnt worth the price.The staff issue is a problem when families feed the animals with chocolate which is toxic for some animals, and there is no staff that you could report to.Overall, nice expirence for once a year visit.

It was a nice experience. Take note to go around 10am and not too early because their lion cage is still close in the morning. Luckily it was open when we went there. It can be tiring to walk around so I highly suggest to rent their cart to go around the vicinity.

I was impressed by how clean the zoo is. Even the toilets. I wish there were more water-coolers/drinking-fountains around, especially in the mid-summer heat.There is a great picnic area and the kids loved it.And of course they loved all the animals and the information boards for each animal.It was a great experience.

We were in a night tour the guides were amazing they experience was a standing its very recommended for every adult and child it’s even a great idea for some dates

I took my 2 kids to the "safari". We travelled by bus which stops about 10 minutes walk from the entrance. The zoo itself is big and has a large number of different animals. We were disappointed to find how dirty the place was and that other visitors didnt care about the restricted smoking area policy, which wasnt enforced. We sadly saw a family throwing food including ice-cream cones to the big tortoises.I wish the zoo will be a place to teach people about the environment and how fragile everything is. I still hold hope!

The signs for orientation in the zoo are old and not clear. However, the zoo is still cool and the fact you have Safari drive-through when entering and leaving is super cool. Note theres always a traffic when coming in

It is a beautiful place and the best choice to go on a family trip or with friends. The place is beautiful and big and they have a lot of beautiful animals there. You can do a lot of things. You have the choice of grilling, taking a picnic, or playing with the animals and feeding them. This place is also good for school trips

A tidy and beautiful zoo and the animals there are many, and I also found that they are doing some repairs, but it is okay to go to it again😊😊😊

So-so safari. There are tons of zebras and a scattering of other animals. They don’t seem to get anywhere near your car though, so it feels like driving your car through a zoo. There was a very long line to get into the lion section which was decidedly underwhelming. The lions were surrounded by an (invisibleelectric fence and they were so far away you could barely see them. When we were there they were all sleeping on top of a log pile.

Good place to take thr kids, its a bit under-maintained. Main attractions: sleeping lions, peing elephants, hiding hippos and tigers

A great attraction for kids and grown-ups.With magnificent animals and places to sit and eat and drink something.Not a lot of shadows in the walking area, but a lot of sitting zones with enough shadow.If going with kids its recommended to arrive with a stroller or other vehicle for them because of the long distances walking for them.

Nicely organized park and the majority of animals look happy and healthy

Great place to be with a four year old on Sunday when it was not crowded at all. Four hours in the afternoon was sufficient for almost two rounds: we went to see the lions before that area closes 4:30( probably will be closed earlier as winter hour will come).The playground is with sand and is high up in the middle of the air.Had a good time.

Such a nice place! Perfect for a Saturday stroll with children.Felt sorry for the animals at first, but when I saw how well they are taken care of, I changed my mind :)I Love nature and im in awe by its glory and creations.

Very nice zoo, the external Safari is a treat for kids (skip the lions, not worth it).Main problem is lack of shade, very hot during the summer

We’re coming back here every few months. This time we where very disappointed to discover that they installed ugly sets feathering ridiculous invented animal stories. We have enough of the artificial media at home and come here to enjoy nature but the kids are vacuumed to those terrible sets. Not to say the noise it evokes. Bad taste and a very strange choice to say the least

Nice Safari to walk around with the kids, BUT after the Corona pandemic we thought the park would upgrade and unfortunately it isnt the case. Same animals and no new attractions:/Plus the Israeli heat makes it super hard to walk around the safari. There is enough food and drink points along the park, the souvenir shop at the entrance is very nice but a bit expensive.

It appeared as if the time they were closed did good to the safari and its inhabitants. We were there early around 9ish. Was not packed, most of the animals were eating breakfast so we got to see everyone. People were adhering to covid guidelines. Was clean and overall a very pleasant experience:)

I had a great experience when I visited the zoo. The animals look happy and love how you can go safari style on your own car. Pro tip- go on a school day and avoid the crowds. Bring water and snacks

Setup to make you feel in Africa. Zebras, gazelles and wildebeests running freely in the same Diane as rhinos and hippos.The lions always fascinate people because of the fear they produce in every human being, but dont expect to see any action, actually, how that there is no action at all

Very nice place to get refreshed ....much recommended for families and children ..an open place with animals wandering and going around ...a car would be a perfect choice to njoy the roaming animals .. .and the zoo is also quite nice and entertaining with wild animals was a good and nice experience with my family .....much recommended place to visit ....

Amazing time with kids, we took the safari bus because we didn’t have a car and we went on a Monday which was supposed to be a a slow day and it was. Well worth it cause the animals weren’t fatigued either and we had tons of cool interactions with the animals in the zoo portion.The safari is cool. My kids loved the idea that the bus was the only thing between them and the lions. The safari is short but from what I understand from all the workers it’s very long on a Saturday because there are so many cars coming in.Peacocks and chickens everywhere.We also used a golf cart for a while instead of walking the whole place so the kids loved it and left us enough energy to double back on foot to a couple things like the playground and the children’s zoo.

The biggest zoo in Israel, lies in Ramat Gan. The place is big due to the safari experience in entrance, which gives direct sight of wild animals such as rhinos and zebras and lions. Then there is a vast and huge parking and a friendly entrance to the pen zoo. The payment is on the car entrance and it is quite expensive yet worth it. The park consists of restaurants and toilets and many trash cans, it is very convenient and clean. There are electric club cars for rent and push carts for toddlers. The sight seeing of the animals is fair and it depends on the mood of the animals. It seems the treatment of the animals is well and the park gives it attention. I went with the family and very satisfied, we all had fun.

Great experience for the whole family.Starting with a car ride around the safari watching the animals around the lake.After that going inside the zoo by foot watching a big variety of animals.Make sure to check the feeding time before visiting each animal.

Very nice and unique animal experience. Unlike an ordinary zoo, the safary part where you can ride along in your car with free animals makes it much more fun. The zoo itself is good as well, and the animals variety is very nice.

The safari is okay, is okay for a quick visit without seeing lot of kinds of animals.There is a lack of lions specially (we saw 1 or 2 really far away). The zoo inside is good and it haves monkeys and other things. Some parts of the zoo are a little sad (small for the animals and not well maintained). There are better zoos/safaris in Israel but if you are in ramat gan or tel Aviv with children is a nice activity.

It is participates in many international projects to protect and return animals to their habitat in order to preserve the species of our planet. In total, there are about 1600 animals from around the world, including 68 species of mammals, 130 species of birds and 25 species of reptiles. In the fully recreated habitat of the African savanna, animals freely move around the territory in small herds....This is a large and interesting place that is worth visiting at least once, since this place really resembles a walk through the jungle in one part, and a walk through the African savanna in another.

Such a great experience for the kids. We talk the morning feeding the animals tour. We had a lot of fun . We got to see the hypos , lions, chimpanzees and bears. The tour guide was very nice and informative.

This is a fantastic Safari / zoo combo for families of all ages. Only 40-45 minutes from Yerushalayim, you can get there easily with Waze. The entrance fee includes both the Safari and zoo. The Safari is where you drive around in your car and see animals wandering around. Some, like the Lions, are behind fences but the rest can and do walk up to your car. The zoo is actually even nicer, with lots of animals in decent enclosures, close enough to the walking path to see easily. They were feeding a giant tortoise when we walked by. There is also a nice play area for the kids although it seemed a little dangerous to me but my kids and grandkids handled it just fine. The gift store is air conditioned and fairly priced. Restrooms were clean.

Great place for families, couples and group hangouts. If you want a quieter trip I would recommend to arrive at 8:30 when the Safari opens. Around 11am it starts to get crowded. There are accessible toilets and slme kiosks to buy snacks and food like pizza or hot dog. Would suggest to bring your own food for a healthier choice. There is a petting area with sheep and goats.The safari rides are good, too bad you cant always get a good look at the lions because they hide in the shadow when its hot.

Our family loved it as you are confined to a car and animals roam around. The animals in the ski bit look healthy and happy. Nice place to visit. It can be a whole day out as next to safary there is a massive beautiful park.

A great place to spend a couple of hours. The kids were excited and didnt want to go home. The place is extremely packed on the weekends so try to come on a regular day. Youll get to see a lot of animals and enjoy a day out.

Very unusual zoo situated in the middle of the territory where animals are free as far as it possible of course to walk, leisure etc. Very nice family of giraffes we have not seen before (used to visit mostly European zoos). Very calm atmosphere and interesting as for adults and children. Good playgrounds for kids to have a rest. Strongly recommend during your visit to Tel-Aviv.

This is one of the best experiences I have ever had in Israel. It was cool, I touched zebras, I took amazing pictures and it is not far from Tel Aviv. You can see all sorts of animals and have a cup of tea or coffee in the zoo next to the Safari. Dont miss the pelicans.

Not recommended at all. Tha divisions are confusing, you can never know where you are. The place should be divided in a single round walk. It would be much easier and comfortable. also, the animals seem to be very poor, sad, tiered. Something wasnt quite right.

had a plenty of fun. theres a lot of animal. what I didnt like that all the animals are lazy and sleepy. for some reason they dont have the energy to move and some of them really sick and not perfectly function.

The Safari itself - an open environment with African animals roaming free, is a unique experience but rather small. The Zoo section is old, not very well maintained, and doesn’t offer much shade on hotter days. Without any special Colin’s or deals, the entry ticket is highly overpriced.

(+Gorgeous assortment of gifts in shop.Very nice and helpful staff. Many exhibits we saw were really nice. They are making new exhibits for the primates. Cool play areas for kids.(-)It was confusing to figure out where to go at first. All the signs near the entrance were in Hebrew only and the Google Maps was confusing, too. There were TOO many people feeding animals. Definitely needs to be better policed.

This zoo is also a safari.You start the amazing experience driving your car through the animals while they are running free, rhinos, gazelles, hippos, ostriches and all kinds of birds, (At some point a rhino scratched on our car! Dont worry the car and the rhino are okthen you can drive through the lions cage where your not allowed to open the windows and you can only see the lions from rather far for safety reasons, after that you can go to the actual zoo. You roam around all kinds of animals, my favorite were the apes and the gorillas in particular. The staff is extremely nice and answered all the questions we had. There are times that the staff feeds the animals, then one of the staff will stand with a microphone and explain about the animals and answer questions from the crowed. Highly recommended for everyone who loves animals. I had a great time !!

One of the best and cleanest zoo I have visited. Animals look very clean and happy and appear having good time. Except bears which are looking forward to get low temperature. Cafeteria is so bad. Bring your own food. Theyre plenty of places where one can relax and eat. Good playground for kids. Safari part is very entertaining. You will be approached by various animals. Good time with family and kids.
