Sabor Latino - Dominican restaurant in Atlantic City, United States
Food was amazing
Didnt get the chance to eat the food only because they didnt have Salada de bacalhau..
Had the Rabo first night and the Pernil the second day for lunch.Best bang for the buck. I wish I had room for some breakfast. Fried salami and cheese. Wowzers
One of the best Spanish spots to eat
First timer. Out of towner. Very memorable! Warm welcome, delicious food, great music, comfortable ambiance, and very clean & organized areas! Our lunch included yucca fries, fried sweet plantain, res and pollo guisado (beef & chicken stewwith spanish rice and green salad. 😋Definitely would eat here again! 👌🏾
Always great food..Luv it😍
They had no menu to look at no breakfast items i feel it would be helpful. And less stress for your server
Very good food, fast service
Really nice place.... clean and the food is amazing 👍🤩!!!!The employees really professional!!!!
Excellent food! The rice to to die for! We had empanadas, tacos, chicken platter, ribs! Can’t go wrong, very authentic! Try it! It’s new to our neighborhood and we will be back for the chicken stew!
If you enjoy Hispanic food youll love this place
No flavor I was so disappointed especially because its a Dominican family owned and there food should have so much more flavor
Great Dominican food! Every time we go to Atlantic City we go eat here. Try the mangu with the 3 hits! Recommended 100%
Something new for me but... delicious, good prices and friendly personal
I have no complaint from this restaurant I really love the compassion people in there and very humble very delicious food and Im a very picky person and Ive been eating their food for already lets say about 4 years maybe a little longer cuz Ive been in Atlantic City for a long time but I love their service never got treated wrong so Im
My wife ordered us dinner from Sabor and they didnt really have anything on the menu as well as we ordered yellow rice and got white rice and then they put macaroni salad in the hot food as well as a 1/8 of a small condiment cup of tostone dip and a half a cup of beans for my rice and a burnt dried up small pork chop all for $15 and her platter had 2 small child size pieces of chicken this is a disgrace for a Latin resturant in a neighborhood of mainly Latin families
Very good Dominican food better then most Dominican food I’ve eaten in New York. If you’re in ac this is it !!!!
If you want to experience true Dominican food without traveling to the island or breaking a budget. This is sincerely the best gem found in Atlantic city.
bad services no menu the waitress forgot 2 order they are very unprofessional and very mean.the food was ok not great
Great tasting food at a very affordable price, I highly recommend if you visit AC and can move around in a car
Mofongo, Fried Fish, Salad
Dont let looks fool you; within this restaurants humble interior lies a delicious culinary experience. The food is cheap and plentiful and packs a flavorful punch. I had the mofongo with Pollo guisado and my girlfriend had the collitas and both were fantastic. We will visit again the next time we are in Atlantic City!
Delish food and great portions. I got the white rice with chicken stew and beef and cheese empanadas. The chicken was so soft and perfect. One bite and I was in love. Ill be coming back again.
From Virginia and came up to Atantic City just to come. But i have to say Sabor Latino is very very great!. Would reccomend to anyone .
This is the spot! Excellent spanish food, Im a fan of mofongo and they make is so freaking good here! Get the chicken stew the chicken is so tender it literally falls off the bone just being touched with a fork. We really enjoyed our meal from them and the portion was huge and prices were excellent. There working hard and with passion to bring you great flavors and high quality made dishes ! Mostly a takeout spot but there are a few small tables.
Food was Amazing.Pollo Guisado fell off the bone.Staff was very Gracious.
Little nice place, food is good
The worst chimi i ever had it was biyrnt on the grill black on burger bun no flavor black it was so bad it wasnt even eatable i was so mad tgat i almost cried horrrible
I went by the reviews and they were right the food is amazing, I am spanish and I can say I was very pleased by the food flavor
The steak palomilla is a masterpiece. The meat is of quality and cooked/seasoned to perfection. The rice and beans tastes homemade. 10/10.
Came with the family for a couple of nights to ocean casino wanted spanish food, well let me say this restaurant hit the spot. .everything was delish and the servings ideal.Worth the 10 minute driveHighly recommended
The food, service and atmosphere was great . I would definitely go back again and also recommend to family and friends.
Not really a good service or food. I don’t know if they were having a bad day considering the great reviews here. We didn’t have a good experience. We waited 2 hours for our food. The lady upfront Not only had a bad attitude when whe call to make our order. When we picked up or food she was screaming at some of the other staff. When we finally got to eat, the pulled pork didn’t had a good taste and the rice was sticky.Beans were good and plantains too.Like I said maybe they were having a bad day, but for me it takes only one bad experience to loose me as a customer.I will not be returning.
My husband and I came to Atlantic City and found the most delicious restaurant. We ordered stake, rice and beans, rabo and green salad with morir soñando. The food was delicious and with great presentation and carefully packed. I would recommend this restaurant to any one that enjoys Spanish food. We will definitely be back to Sabor Latino, for some more delicious food. 👍
I’ve had better Dominican food. I ordered Pernil. Any typical Dominican restaurant would serve this with salad, rice, and beans AT LEAST, this was not the case. In this restaurant you can choose only one side with your main dish and any other choice is charged extra. When asked what they have for today, the man said they have Sopa de Mondongo. When it was my table’s turn to order, the lady told us she does not have any. Why would you tell us you have something that you don’t? On top of that, they did not have many options from which could order from despite it being offered in the menu. As I ate, I noticed hairs in my food, I immediately felt nauseous and ceased to eat. Who knows if I ingested someone’s hair. It is very small, very humid, the air conditioner barely worked, and too many bugs were flying around. I like Dominican food, but this restaurant is not worth your money. I paid $12 for pernil, rice and beans. Save your money, go somewhere else.
The food was good, BUT they dont charge you the prices that they have on the menu. When we asked for the check they wrote down the final price without telling us how much each dish cost. When we asked for every single price they overpriced the original prices of the menu.Be careful when they give you the check.
Food is ok. Nothing to die for. The restaurant is too hot. Has no air conditioner. I couldnt dine in, had to take it to go after ordering.
The service was so slow and there were only 3 people in the restaurant. When I got my food it was cold. It was also very hot and they didnt have air conditioning. I would never return to this place again.
Very good Pleasant atmosphere great food well go again
Food was good, not gonna lie. However, the people in there are rude and give you dirty looks. They take your card before telling you the price. One girl in there looked me dead in the eye and ignored me when I asked the price. I wouldn’t suggest this place to someone if you like friendly servers and a nice vibe. I was happy to see a place that served Dominican food but was very disappointed with the service. At least the food is good.
If u love Hispanic comfort food, this is it, although its in a place u would likely not visit. We saw it on the way to seeing Lucy the Elephant in Margate, NJ (near Atlantic City). Its a hole-in-the-wall type of discovery. Good food at good prices. Its a neighborhood gem.
Gave this place a shot for lunch today. Ordered the pernil roast pork. There were two nice pieces they had probably just cooked sitting in the table but my plate can from the back. Guessing it was yesterday’s considering how dry most of it was. I hope the money they saved was worth me not coming back again and again.
The food was okay service was slow and bad order 2 sandwiches one was made incorrectly the meat was already cooked yet took 20 mins to get other ppl arrived after us and get there food first prices on menu seem to be a mistake
Banging food ,was my first time there and we love it, great service
The food was good......but we walked from the Tropicana hotel to the restaurant and ordered the food......when we reached back ti the room no utensils.....and the crazy part is I told him where we came from. The other thing is the on the menu said $6.50 for the small special of the day.....but was charged $7.50.....that being said I wont be patronizing their establishment no time in the future.
Went there based solely on reviews. Was not disappointed. In fact, the food was so good, it gives me a new reason to come to Atlantic City. I live 45 miles away.We had the rice with gandules and pernil. Sabroso. Apenas puedo esperar para volver.
The food platters are usually good but I got the Chicharron with rice and it was not cooked all the way. You got to catch the chef on a good day I guess. prices are also very reasonable but be wary of who is charging you and the menu prices. They have up charged me more than once.
Amazing food at great prices, its a must try local place. Very small family owned place but amazing food
I go here all the time, I usually get roasted pork and rice. I ordered in Spanish....well I try to. Very friendly and it is dominican style. Everything is freshly made and have good lunch deals.
Best Spanish spot in Atlantic city area. I dont bother going anywhere else. I remember getting my haircut right next door and when this first opened. Their progress is amazing to witness. Prices are also a plus. Come in and try their lunch special durring the day. And begore I forget ... They deliver!!!!
