Excellent service

We are a family of 5, three of my very young daughter, my wife, and me. Our time in Sabon hotel was very much enjoyable; we had a fantastic time from day one. It was spotless; the rooms were designed in such a way that gave you a maximum refreshing mood, and the housing keeping staffs were amusing; I forgot the name of the lady whom I believe is a supervisor of housekeeping team; she is a professional. Customer service manager Ms.Selam is extraordinary; she always ensures every one of the hotel gusts receives all the services to the maximum. The hotel has a restaurant on the third floor; in the morning,g a complimentary breakfast.It is very delicious. The hotels price with such top-notch service and hospitality, I can tell you, is very, very reasonable. I am recommending or all family and friends to go to Sabon when theyplaning to visit Ethiopia

A very nice and clean hotel. The staff is wonderful and nice. We stayed in it before Covid 19 in 2019, a very nice experience..we were accompanied by the tour guide, the wonderful gentleman Rita Oraso, greetings from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to him and you for the good treatment.

Nice rooms but bathroom aeration needs to be better, theres a smell that doesnt get out of the bathroom 😑

Great place, good food, good security, great service and staff and tidy rooms the only complain I have was small number of parking places available and narrow rooms with no windows some of them.

I was a resident at Sabon for 3 weeks from. AMERICA to visit my Fiance from Addis. Beautiful hotel. Good customer service. The food was low prices. We were on 9th floor in 902. It was a beautiful view. No balcony though. The water was warm and the internet was fast. It is next to food places national and international. You can hear Live music on weekends in room, other than that it was quiet. The breakfast was free and fair.

In the room, the TV was defective and the bathroom was dirty (floor not clean- hair), and the shower didnt drain, so it flooded out onto the floor. Food in the restaurant was average, but the service was very slow. Besides that, personnel were friendly and helpful.

Stayed at their serviced apartment for 2 weeks and it was comfortable and enjoyable as could be. All the staff were very friendly and helpful.Room service and front desk is 24/7 and also assisted us in getting the most out of our stay. Location is also good and the hotel is well known so no problems with getting a ride or getting things delivered.We also got to celebrate Easter with them and they had prepared a lovely coffee ceremony at the lobby. Super nice touch ☕🤍

Nice and small boutique hotel. Great staff who speak English. Very private as well and excellent breakfast options everyday. Have extended my 5 nights stay for another 4 to cover my trip. I recommend 110%

Good food and a nice place to Hangout

Great Airport/Transit Hotel close to Bole International Airport. Rooms are clean and spacious with good free Wi-Fi. Location is within easy walk of a few sights with lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Free Airport Shuttle pick-up and drop-off that was convenient.

First of all, be sure that Bole is the neighborhood you want to stay in. Bole is a modern neighborhood, with a lot of shops, malls, and more or less a westernized international experience. Bole is not a traditional or historic neighborhood. Because of the restaurants and night life, etc, it is a fine place to stay and go elsewhere for tourism purposes. If Bole is where you want to stay, then the Sabon Hotel is an excellent choice.Second, keep in mind that the Sabon is a relatively small hotel. It is more of a boutique hotel than a grand hotel. If that is what you want, then the Sabon is an excellent choice.I will start with the staff. I dealt with at least ten staff members, from the shuttle driver to the front desk to the restaurant to the cleaners to the manager himself. They were all outstanding in their friendliness and professionalism. They advised me on taxis, for example, then actually called the taxi company up to complain when I told them how the driver had tried to cheat me. Anyway, you get the idea.The room I had was very big and everything worked. In particular, the shower was enormous and with strong, hot water. Wifi worked almost perfectly throughout my stay. The bed was very comfortable.The location is also good-- just a bit off of one of the main roads of the district.The free airport shuttle is also a good feature. I would have had much more difficulty managing where to go at the airport upon departure if I had not had the very nice shuttle driver to help me. He drove me closer than a taxi would have been allowed, got me a luggage cart, and made sure I knew where I was going.Disliked · When I arrived, the refrigerator was not plugged in and there was nowhere to plug it in, so clearly not a priority for most guests. A quick call to the front desk and the problem was solved with an extension cord.The only other thing I did not appreciate was being called in my room by the restaurant to tell me that I should hurry up and go to breakfast, as it would close in half an hour. While I am sure that they meant to be kind and remind me of the time, I also felt like it was a signal that they wanted to close and I was holding that up.Finally, and this is a reflection on the neighborhood, not the hotel, I was very often bothered and harassed in the streets, night or day. I can take care of myself and never felt like I was in danger, but it was annoying. For example, I walked the approximately 6 kilometers from the national museum to the hotel and had no problems at all-- including walking through much poorer areas-- until I reached Bole, where I began to be pestered.I would absolutely stay at the hotel again, but I would not spend much time in the neighborhood.

Hi! I just want to thank everyone from the staff too the excellent manager Mr Fanuel Shibru. I have stayed at hotels around Asia and throughout Europe but this place was amazingly hospitable and high standard, I stayed there for 20+ days and actually felt sad too leave. I will be back soon though ;)

Last October was my fifth times trip to Addis in 6 years this time I went for personal business for about 26 days and I stay in this hotel for me it was like from home to home thank you every one from security to restaurant and cleaning what can I say you all make my trip and my visitors comfortable the professionalism and care on covid 19 was extraordinaryI know there is a loud music across street during weekends hopefully the manager gonna solve that again that is the cleanest and best place to stay in Addis

I have been at this hotel for 7days quarantine there service very nice also the chief was great all the waitresses and front desk were nice to me I appreciate for you guys service food was nice room was clean internet WiFi it’s fast I enjoyed everything thanks so much stay safe 😘😘😘

helpful staff and especially the reception breakfast is very good and when you miss omelets or bread just ask and youll have it in 5 minutes. unless there is traffic the shuttle is always present .The hotel is well located, spacious rooms. since I knew this hotel I never wanted to leave it.I recommend it with all my heart.

Personals are soo friendly, room are very clean and big. I spend really a good time at Sabon Hotel. Close to the airport and free airport navette. If you need a good taxi driver please ask to Dagim taxi service.

The Sabon Hotel was mine and my friends first experience of a hotel in Ethiopia. The staff were very pleasant, attentive and approachable. The room was large, beds were comfortable and the bathroom, especially shower was roomy. We had a wonderful stay there both pre and post our tour, enjoying proximity to the city and the availability of a shuttle bus, or taxi if needed. This hotel is close to the airport and takes about 15 minutes at most if caught in heavy traffic. A most enjoyable stay.

Rooms are clean and nice. The service is good and everyone welcoming. Parking space is an issue and sometimes noise could be an issue from the neighborhood. I would recommend this place to anyone who is coming to Addis and wants to stay in the central part of town, nearby the airport and maybe enjoy the nightlife a bit as well.

A new place in town. Clean with a magnificent view on town. Try to book a room in higher floors with town view.Close to Edna Mall, H2O night club, Surrender night club and habesha 2000 cultural restaurant. I guess it have all you need in a hotel. Although a lil bit expensive for Addis but totally worth it. Go for it and you wont regret it

Nice big room. Lots of hot water in the shower. Breakfast has very little variety and portions are small. Double room was 70$ but only 50$ for corporate rate.The shower leaked.overall not bad.

A very neat hotel located not far away from the Bole International airport. Very smart n friendly staff, a nice conference hall and very good food. Its one place in Addis you would love to return to after your first visit.
