Unfussy, informal restaurant serving classic Thai & Lao cuisine with various spice levels.
Kapoon noodle soup is a must try. A Curry base of deliciousness. The Lao Style Laab chicken is tasty. And different from Thai Style. So if you never had a Lao Style Laab. I recommend you try this. Service is friendly. Very clean establishment. Cant wait to try the rest of the menu.
Clean, bright, open space, great customer service, delicious food and awesome prices. Will definitely be going back
Absolute gem of a restaurant! The food was delicious and they have a wonderful hot sake. Service was fantastic, and they will be a regular place to visit for me.
The crispy egg rolls with its chili sauce are absolutely perfect! Have been here a couple of times for pho and pad Thai. Both meals were excellent. Great portions that allowed me to have left overs to enjoy for the next day. Very friendly service. I will be returning to this spot whenever I crave thai food. Good quality and taste.
The food here is Amazing! So much flavor and a decent amount for the price.i ordered the Avocado green curry and it was mouth watering delicious! I will definitely keep coming back here. Awesome service as well.
The best Thai food around
Great wings. Great service. Just a tad expensive but you get what you pay for..
Excellent food. Flavor was very good. Will go back again.
Some of the best Pad Thai I’ve had in years. I’m very picky about Pad Thai but I will always try it if I go to a new restaurant. Alot of places it’s too sweet or there’s not enough of the sauce and makes it dry or the noodles are rubbery. It was evenly sweet, savory and spicy and the noodles were perfectly cooked.I also tried their red curry and it was delicious! It comes with two different kinds of eggplant was honestly too much for me since I’m not a huge fan of eggplant, so next time I may get it with half the amount or none at all but the curry itself was very flavorful! Their Thai iced tea is really good too!I highly recommend this place if you are ever in the west Bremerton area!
We took a group to this restaurant today and everyone of us thought it was absolutely amazing! The food was the best Thai food I have ever had! Clean and fresh with amazing service. We tried about 8 different dishes and every single one was delicious! If you go get something that has their amazing peanut sauce! You really cant miss on what ever you pick. I cant recommend this place high enough!
Food was excellant as always. We got vegetarian curry and basil beef. So full flavored. I love Thai basil. Service was excellant as well.
Have gone here for years. Hadnt been since covid. So glad its still open. Will do take out next time though. Homeless people everywhere. Was a bit sketchy. Food was delicious!
Very good food good prices
The food was so yummy, ultimate comfort food!❤️
Delicious, filling, and prompt. This is my third time here, and each time I have been trying something from a different part of the menu. The spice level has been a little inconsistent, but never too hot or to mild. I highly recommend the Drunken noodles, Yellow Curry, or the Pad Se Eu. Friend that accompanied me today got the Duck fried rice, which smelled equally scrumptious as he described the taste. The prices are a little higher than the menus here on Google but still a reasonable cost. Just saw that they have Bubble tea too, but I was too full to even get some to-go.
Oh my goodness I’ve been dying to try drunken noodles from an actual Thai restaurant. Found this tiny gem near me and they did not disappoint! Great first impression. Great flavor and everything was cooked to absolute perfection. I ordered take out and it was ready slightly early. I will definitely be back to try other stuff. I ate before taking photos!
BE VERY CAREFUL EATING HERE. They used a broken pan to cook with and pieces of the pan were in my four year olds food. They didnt seem too concerned when I returned to the restaurant to confront them about it. They tried to get me to believe it was pan grease. Look at the pictures and judge for yourself. No regard for health or public safety. This is going to go beyond a refund which wasnt offered.
When a restaurant has no Atmosphere, they have to make up for that with Great tastes, Great quality of ingredients, in short Great Food. Also meet folks there that we talked to who love this place. Now We love this place!Cant wait to return.Dr. T.J.
This has to be some of the BEST food Ive had in my life! I was too much of a weenie to come and try them out when I had so many opportunities to do so. I was excited to try it and they didnt disappoint! Exceeded my expectations even! Deep fried potstickers are AMAZING! Chicken fried rice, I had them add spice (level 3seems to be perfect for me!!
Great family friendly dining with a variety of options to share. Gluten Free options (upon request). Recommend giving the handmade noodles a try.Updating review from some time ago... This our go to place. The food is alway great. Phone or walk up orders for pick up are prepared promptly and the quality and care shines through this family run local business. We really miss friendly and family feel of dining in (COVID), but the take out is the next best way to enjoy this tasty food. Please go out of you way to support this local business.Photos will be posted soon... if we don’t eat it again before remembering...
Best Thai food in Kitsap county. I love their curries and the Yumm Salad is a perfect lunch time meal. I also recommend the chicken wings and of course any Thai place needs to have good Phad Thai... Sabaidee has that too. Portion size is ok but quality and flavor is what keeps us coming back.
I had (SwimmingRama with extra sticky rice delivered. The peanut sauce over chicken and spinach was okay though no where as good as Thai Toms in Seattle. The extra rice I could not eat. Could not even stick a spoon into it. The stuff appeared to be several days old as it was dried out.
Great find! We had the Veggie Curry and the Pad Phat. Veggie curry was super hearty (perfect for a cold day). I asked for "white people spicy" on the Pad Phat and we settled on a 3 of 5 (lips tingle but no forhead sweat).
I think this place, above all others in Bremerton, was the one place I really wanted to try. We just never got the chance to visit. My son and I always visit a different Thai place and my lady has to be in a certain mood to want Thai, so whenever we were close, it just never happened. Combine with that, I couldnt quite figure out where to park here. I follow them on Instagram and Facebook and after so many months of seeing the beautiful pictures they post of their food, I made it a mandate that my family eats at Sabaidee ASAP.We were lucky to find a little 2-hour parking spot on 6th St. a few feet down the street. We were also lucky enough to get there in time to beat the lunch rush. We were told to sit anywhere. It was a very rainy day that day and there was an interesting phenomenon inside the restaurant where the air was very moist. Im guessing maybe its a combination of humidity from the rain, and the hot steam from the open kitchen. It just made everything feel a little...sticky. I noticed that the decor has been updated a bit since the pictures I saw on yelp. A fresh coat of paint and some things being rearranged, along with the removal of those awful bamboo window shades really makes the place look cozy but modern. Im used to Thai places being cramped, over-decorated and full of bamboo, so this was actually a pleasant departure.Once we decided, we ordered two appetizers. We got the sticky wings and the fried shrimp that were wrapped. They both came with the same sweet dipping sauce. The shrimp were pretty forgettable, but the wings were amazing! Crispy, sweet, sticky and very flavorful. My mouth is watering just thinking of them. My real complaint is that you only get 5 of the wings and 5 of the shrimp. Thats a little small compared to the price of $8 each.I ordered the Thai Iced Tea and my lady was on the fence about trying one, so I went ahead and ordered one for her too. These were very big and worth the price. The flavor was nice, and its more tea and less sweet cream. I think its a matter of taste, if you prefer the taste of the tea more, then this is for you. I prefer a little more cream in order to counteract the heat of whatever Thai dish Im consuming. Still though, very good tea.For our dishes. My son ordered the Ramen bowl, I know, its not Thai. When it came out, it kind of tasted like Ramen noodles inside of a Pho broth, very sweet, not salty like a lot of Ramen. The toppings were also very Pho-ish except for the boiled egg. The portion was huge and my son had to take some of it home, which is rare for him. He seemed to like it, but I was kind of glad I didnt order it for myself, since I dont really like Pho broth. My lady ordered a chicken noodle dish, the name escapes me now, and she ordered it at a spice level of 2 out of 5. Shes a spice lightweight, and she said it was the perfect amount of spice. She loved her dish and said it was on par with if not better than our favorite Thai place from back home. Thats a big compliment in my book. I got the Pad Thai, since thats the standard Thai dish. I got 5 of 5 on spice level, and it was pretty hot. Sometimes, when I get Thai, I order 5 of 5 and then end up cursing them the whole time Im eating because its not hot. These guys delivered with the spice. If you like spice, they wont let you down. I would imagine if you ordered it "Thai Spicy" which is like 10 out of 5, steam would be coming out of your ears. The flavors were also amazing, and they managed to make it tasty as well as hot. Some places seem to sacrifice taste in order to make sure its really hot, but then all you taste is heat. I also agreed with my lady that this food was better than my previous favorite. This is my new favorite Thai place and would probably be going here once a week if not for....Prices. This place is pretty steep for Thai. Our lunch tab was around $75 all said and done. Two apps, two teas and three dishes. You get what you pay for, great portions and great flavor, so I am in no way saying its not worth
Many dishes have vegan options. Yellow curry was delicious. Pad Thai was the best I have had! Highly recommended.
My favorite Thai restaurant of all time. Love the Tom Kha Soup and the garlic chicken. You really cant go wrong with any of their dishes(:
The Avocado Green Chicken Curry was amazing. The Pineapple Red Shrimp Curry was excellent . The service was wonderful and very pleasant.
Food is always amazing. Highly recommend anything with their homemade peanut sauce. Best fresh rolls in town! And spicy is actually spicy here. Highly recommend any of their noodles, fried rice, and lamb salad.
I am very finicky when it comes to Thai food as Ive tried a couple restaurants in East Bremerton and Silverdale and just ended up disappointed. Shame on me for not writing this review sooner but Sabaidee is one of the best Thai restaurants that I have ever had the pleasure of dining at! Sabaidee will not disappoint. The fresh veggie spring rolls with peanut sauce will knock your socks off. Delish!! Its always clean and the service is excellent. This is a family business that made it through the 2008 market crash...to me that says a lot. People love this place!!
Very delicious. Had Pad Phet today which I had never tried and it was amazing. Warning that their star rating is quite higher than other places. The fresh lettuce wraps were good as well.
Nice, helpful staff and good food. They helped me put together a catering order which was hot and ready on time. Perfect for my event, everyone raved about the food.
I would give five stars except they are only open on weekdays and then only until 7 oclock. Its disappointing because I would like to share their consistently lovely food with weekend visitors. The staff are friendly and welcoming and I have yet to try a dish I didnt like. Its very vegetarian/vegan friendly, which is a bonus for me. There are so many things to choose from! I dont think omnivores would be disappointed either. Give it a try!
Oh, my! This food is AWESOME! My husband had the pineapple curry and I had the avocado curry, both 2*. It was amazing - we wanted to just savor every bite, which we did. Thoroughly delicious, with some left over for tonight! It would make the trip from Puyallup to Bremerton worth it any day of the week!
We arrived to an empty restaurant, which should have been a red flag. We ordered Phad Thai which lacked in color and flavor. The only flavor they use is hot spices to make up for the lack of flavor. The waitress was not attentive and upon checking out, the lady at the register was not pleasant. This will definitely be our first and last time here. We shouldve went to Burger King across the street and saved over $40 and had more flavor. We wasted money going here. Or went to our usual place, Pho-tai which never disappoints.
Good food. Three stars because we came in with a large group that pre-ordered and the waitress said that next time we come in that they wont ring up orders individually for large groups (there was approximately 8-9 of us).Not a great business policy, IMO. This business is in the middle of a downtown, with a major artery of working class customers (federal govt installation that has 14K+ peopleand you wont accomodate individualized orders for large groups? Pretty lame. I guess theres always happy teriyaki down the street....
We had a wonderful lunch at this delightful restaurant. Unexpected surprise in downtown Bremerton. Service was excellent, food was beautifully prepared and expertly seasoned. This place is something special!
Do not come here! It is not worth the price and they pre-charge tip when you’re not even a party of six or more. I ordered Laarb Chicken which usually comes with ground chicken but this was shredded chicken. The worst part was not the lack of flavor but the bone cartilage that was included. This so call Laarb dish was the equivalent of tuna chunk light out of a can mix in with some greens.
Good food, fast service, friendly staff. Found because of a pad thai craving that will now become a weekly spot for noodles. Highly reccomend.
Excellent lunch. Portions were perfect. Spice level spot on.
The tom kha gai had almost no galangal, kaffir, or lemongrass. It was basically coconut milk with some chicken and mushrooms in it. The did give me the soup for free after I mentioned how tasteless it was, but then they brought out a strangely liquid pile of sticky rice. I havent tried anything else there, but so far theyre 0/2.
Best Thai food in Bremerton, for sure. Service is always amazing and food always beautiful and top notch. Prices are more than worth everything Ive ordered. Would always recommend.
Insanely good! Some of the best Thai Ive ever had. Had to get some pho to go
Been here a few times. The service is always spectacular, the place is always peaceful, and the food is simply amazing. Its been fairly quiet every time i have been there, with just a few other customers. They have the best peanut sauce that i have had in the many years since the Thai restaurant that i used to frequent closed down... It might be even better... Since i cant compare, i guess itll have to go to Sabaidee, since theirs is still available! Its certainly a top contender for best in Western Washington.
The Thai food is delicious. I had the pad Thai which I always use as a tester for Thai places. Not my top 3 but decent for the area. They messed up the first time I ordered but were very understanding and gave me a discount on my next order
Definitely a hidden gem of Bremerton. You barely notice this place from the outside, tucked away in what looks like some governmental offices. But its well worth it. Very good food and excellent service. Weve been here several times, tried many different dishes and never been disappointed. Theyre also really friendly and accommodating with kids.
Best Pho Ive ever had! Been getting beef brisket Pho there for a couple of years now, and Im ruined for anywhere else! My only complaint is that they are closed on weekends so I cant eat it everyday! Lol Yellow curry is fantastic too. Love this place!
Best Pho I have ever had. The service is great! I just wish they were open on Saturday at least. I work on Bainbridge during the week, so unless I happen to have a weekday off, I am forced to go somewhere else for Pho. 😥
Ive eaten at a lot of Thai places and also know how it should taste from a culinary aspect. I was severely disappointed. The phad thai was waaaay too peanuty (should be a hint of peanut, not coated in it). The "fried" rice was not fried but clearly seasoned sticky rice. They also didnt serve cream cheese won tons which are a classic thai staple. For one star the food was much too spicy as well. The only redeeming quality was the plate presentation, lovely. But we wont be going back.
A happy surprise! We are visiting Bremerton. We were looking for something quick & close when we stumbled on this place. Clean, simple decor, sufficient menu, pleasant service, and really good food. We ordered Tom Yum soup, Pad ke Mao, and Pad Thai. Some of the best weve had!
Dont be fooled by the strip mall appearance, the inside was a pleasant surprise, and the food was quite good. The four-star panang curry was just about right, just enough heat to keep it interesting but not enough to overpower. Well definitely be back.
