SUSHIZEN Grancy Ramen Bar & Sushi - Japanese restaurant in Lausanne, Switzerland
Best ramen in Lausanne. Wonderful cocktails. Fast and efficient service. Very cool décor in the restaurant. You can always count on them for a good meal. I have returned many times and the food is consistently delicious every time.
Super fast and friendly service! The pork spicy Miso Ramen was delicious and very flavourful. It could have been even more spicy, but you can add chilli and pepper as you wish. The dish is not super big, but ok in size. We would come again.
Super
Ramen is good, sushi is ok.True japanese katsukareBeware that you can only order the already made sushi so come in early.
Great food ,great atmosphere ❤️
Always pleased me with the food here🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Very tasty ramen but still expensive
Ordered as delivery few months back. The ramen and gyoza were quite good ! It was easy to warm up the ramen back at home and taste was great. We ordered all types of gyoza (meat, vegetarian, shrimp), they arrived OK but the travel didn’t help to keep their freshness. Should be best to eat over there. Will definitely order Ramen again at home next time.
Ramen just ok, not very interesting and different enough from an instant soup. And the sushi were also just ok, which is strange because when you order sushi delivery, Sushi Zen are generally great. And rather poor choice of Sake.
Very very good, super tasty! Délicieux!Impeccable and very friendly staff!*****Space is super comfortable and calm!
Great Ramen place at walking distance from the Lausanne Gare.
The food is good but the packaging for delivery is horrible. Twice the paper bag is broken because the packaging inside is wet and the paper is too thin...
Great food, great service and reasonable price !
The food was excellent but the service given by the waiters leaves a lot to be desired, the nonchalant, couldnt give a dam attitude was less than appreciated by our table of four.Pull up your socks or change the waiting staff.
not really friendly , the food felt like it was microwaved :/
Authentic Japanese food, by Japanese chefs. We had excellent Tonkotsu Chashu Ramen and Katsucurry. They have a great selection of hot teas. The Yuzu Green Sencha was excellent! They serve looseleaf teas here—no cheap, environmentally unfriendly teabags! Everything is fresh and delicious. The staff are also very nice.
I had a great ramen and sushi. The staff was excellent and we felt very welcomed even though we didnt speak in French and also havent been out to a restaurant since the pandemic started, so they dealt very well with our restaurant noobness. Would certainly go again :D
I’ve had their ramen a few times (always goodhowever until now never dared to go for the sushi. I was Pleasantly surprised, it’s a little strange to have to go inside to order sushi boxes once you’ve been seated but aside from that I enjoyed my experience.
Their shrimp noodles gave me a food poisoning. I kept throwing up all night and was suffering the next day. I dont know how fresh the ingredients were. Disappointed.
The ramen was really tasty and delicious. Once the pandemic ends, will dine in for sure.
I saw miso soup advertised outside so I went in to ask for one. I was told 18 francs for a hot dish. I replied I only want miso soup and the young man repeated 18 francs for a hot dish. I asked if he meant 18 francs for miso soup and he repeated for the third time 18 francs. Puzzled, I decided to leave but decided to check with this rather unhelpful young man, so I asked if he meant 2 soups would be 36 francs. All hot plates are 18 francs he answered. My friends and I will not be back!! Extremely expensive for a carryout soup, even if it has some bits in it ..... but I can’t tell as it wasn’t explained.
The best Ramen in the Lausanne area!
If only I can give half a star. Im more of a traditionalist on my food. This is semi traditional & traditional at the same time. My review is on the tonkotsu ramen.Let me begin although it was busy, I was able to sit relatively shortly. The staff were wonderful to accommodate and spoke English. 5 stars on customer service because its not too common to get a friendly customer service in Switzerland. The ramen itself. I love tonkotsu ramen for its rich, milky, and creamy broth (without the actually milk). It probably is one of the unhealthiest dishes because of the creamy fat content, but once in awhile its fair to treat yourself. Sushizen Grancy version is much lighter. The broth is lighter and less intense but still full of flavor. The noodles cooked perfectly al dente! The toppings - while authentic some were lacking in flavor. Sadly they didnt have the pork chashu so I opted for the chicken. Its chicken breast that has been slow cooking or sous vide for an absolutely long time. It had an intense chicken flavor, but no taste of the dark soy and sweetness that I look forward to in a chashu. While the ramen was good - but come in with an open mind knowing that its slightly different from the traditional ramen. Overall 3.5 stars from me.
Superb freshly cooked Ramen with excellent friendly service and relaxing ambience!
very good porc ramen, you can find better in geneva, but in lausanne it’s one of the best
Tried their tonkotsu and spicy miso ramen. It was great and the service was excellent.
Tasty miso Ramen broth 🍜 with ingredients and toppings. Nice deco, quick and friendly service. Sushi Zen is not the local typical genuine 🇯🇵restaurant but they make the job. Gochiso sama deshita.
My buddy and I arrived here for his graduation and were pleased that there have been a lot of great tables to choose from whenever we showed up. If you want delightful food that wont break your budget, this place is ideal for a special supper without the big bill at the end. My brother and I really enjoyed the wide range of desserts and will be coming back again for a particular treat. The personnel here are cheerful and generally offer to help my brother choose what to eat! We are now regulars. We really want to thank the personnel to make my brothers birthday so wonderful.
Good food great service. Fair pricing
Very average sushi, low value for the price. Unfriendly service.
Very nice restaurant quick service even though it was busy. Enjoyed my meal.
You can customize your ramen with wide selection of broth and noodles
The best ramen spot hands down
The ramen is good, as is the gyoza and karaage. Not expensive and excellent service. Would definitely go again.
The Ramen is fine, I have tasted better, but it’s OKThey also make great Gyoza and fantastic selection of Mochi... so overall if you want a Japanese gourmet experience in Lausanne under CHF 40 per person, this is one of the top choices
Great ramen, reminded me of Osaka Ramen. Excellent service! Sushi is made daily but not fresh out of the kitchen on order. They served Asahi beer, Sake and Japanese desserts!
Best 🍜 ramen shop in lausanne. Its full of good flavors and is good value for money. A must try if your a noodles fan.
Ramen was really good and I have ate at the best ramen spots in the world.
The ramen is absolutely fantastic! One of the best Ive had. It never disappoints regardless of which option you choose. The portions are more than enough even if you are really hungry. Definitely a must-try in Lausanne.
Very friendly service, great Ramen and gyoza!
Awful service: slow, cranky staff, the Gyoza are 12 on the menu but just 6 takeaway. We sat at table after buying takeaway and the waiter reached to remove my Gyoza to try to get me to order the plate (at twice the priceI explained we were getting a meal plus takeaway but his reaching for our stuff was unpleasant. Waitress was equally unpleasant do not recommend this horrible place. Never again. Lost a customer for life.
Had a tonkotsu Ramen with pork. It was great and tasted as genuine as in Japan. Best Ramen I have had in Switzerland.
The Ramen is delicious like the real Japanese style.
The intention is in the details and it comes through in the presentation and the taste. Five stars for more ramen per serving
Crazy high prices. 25CHF for a bowl of noodle soup. It came too salty, and more meat would have made better.Contrary to Swiss practise which requires service charge to be included, the credit card terminal prompts you for a tip, and if you decline it, it brings a disappointed face from the waitress.
Food quality isn’t great... Staff is friendly but not really professional.
Great atmosphere, and service. The food was very good, as well. My only complaint is the lack of variety when it came to sushi choices.
Nice atmosphere, always inventive and excellent lunch menus
A bit on the expensive side and a small menu. Preorder the hotpot! Its not on the menu de facto
Food is good, but don’t come here if you are in the mood for sushi, as it is only on their starter menu and is limited selection (2-4different types.
