They have some pretty convoluted rules for this club. I would avoid it at all costs. Time was better spent meandering around the terminal in Lima.

Amazing lounge. I got here at 5 AM and was offered a delicious breakfast buffet with many delicious options, including unlimited freshly squeezed orange juice! There was only about 30 other people and the lounge is spacious and well equipped.I also decided to take a shower before a long day of flying and it was fantastic. The bar looks nice, but I didnt feel like getting hammered so early!

Very poor lounge, used by all airlines. They clearly take advantage of their monopoly by charging very high prices and providing abysmal service. Dirty and poorly stocked in terms of food and drinks.

simply the worst lounge ever. even a simple plate of eggs are poorly offered (cold...), uncomfortable and old fashioned. Do not waste your money in paying for it. They even limit your stay to 3 hrs! Airlines should offer something better.

Very poor food offer and facilities, not on a level of any decent international airport lounge. Showers are still closed (May 2022). To make matters worse they limit your stay to few hours.

Definitely not worth for the money. You wont get much food here. Probably because of covid. Food is more symbolic rather than practical. They though have some good cocktails there at the bar. But limited only one per person for free. Otherwise, very expensive.

Do not attempt to enter this lounge more than 3 hours before your flight departure if you have business class ticket with LATAM. I had an overnight connection in Lima and hoped to sleep here, and they suggested me to pay extra or to go hang out elsewhere.

Easley the worst lounge I’ve ever been to. Never been to a business class lounge where they make you pay for the 3rd drink. They tried to charge me $8 for a glass of wine, and when I paid £8 in coin (valued way more than usedthey said no. 😂 used my priority pass to go next door.

Crowded lounge. The food system because of covid makes no sense whatsoever. You have to keep marking the stuff you want on sheets of paper, even if it is a bottle of water.

SkyTeam AM Platinum level, flight DL150 from Lima, boarding time at 21:30. Sumaq has a policy to access 3 hrs before boarding. At 19:05 I was refused to access the lounge because the flight was delayed by 1h 20min delaying boarding to 22:50, there were more than 3 hrs soI had to wait until 19:50.

Pretty large lounge with various seating options, lots of power outlets and decent assortment of food. Whats surprising is that you only get 2 alcoholic drinks, even though youve paid for business/first class. Ive only encountered that in membership lounges like Priority Pass.

Good place to rest and have some breakfast or snaks before your flight. If you want to have lunch or dinner go to the restaurants along the gates. You get one complementary alcohol drink but you can buy more. The bathrooms and showers are really good. You also got some basic limited beds if you need to take a nap

VIP lounge? So many people for the small space, constantly running out of food.Staff is not friendly, why bother ? The only good thing is the fresh orange juice squeezer. Very basic , don’t expect too much from this one

If you have airline status, this is your lounge. Food provided 24/7. They also have about 6 beds for naps and overnight layovers. Service at the bar can be slow.

Good but only 1 alcoholic drink is too less, I think they must leave almost nacional drinks free as other vip and only cashier the expensive drinks.

Disappointed. Flying with Iberia, you only get one complimentary drink. Food is limited to small plate snacks. Coffee was nice. Nice fresh orange juice machine. Lots of space when we used it on a Tuesday evening.

Going downhill faster than a black diamond. You´re now allowed 3 hours instead of 4, 2 drinks instead of open bar and crappier food. Did I mention that it´s much more crowded now, too? I looked at some other reviews- one of the best? If you´re one world elite, it doesn´t come close to the one in Santiago. It´s just above the oneworld lounge in Quito. FYI, there is no oneworld lounge in Quito. I bet the price is the same or higher....for much, much less. I used to enjoy this lounge quite a bit. Waiting in line -there are 2 actually- 1 for people invited by airlines and the other for people with Priority Pass type access. So now I say to the owners, if youre going to expand, how about providing expanded room and services instead of the opposite. Its sad to see the service industries rallying too much around the dollar and throwing service aside.10/13/19 It looks like Sumaq has separated from the Hannaq? lounge based on eligibility. Talking about Sumaq, food is VERY slightly upgraded, but theyre still very stingy at the bar. Didnt see any analytic balances (to weigh the drinks to the thousandth of a milliliter- yes, Im ignoring density), but nor are they pouring to make any tips, thats for sure. Still one star at best with serious doubts that this will ever improve. Forgot to mention lukewarm (at bestpizza. How they have an average of 4 stars is quite beyond me. I wonder at how many lounges have been visited by those that call this one of the best in Latin America. Its the worst. Ive been to Americans in BA and the OW lounge in Santiago. This place has the least selection and the stingiest attitude of the 3. Quito has no lounge. So this place is on par with Quito on the tail end of "4" of the larger capitals in SA. Why? because its owned by the airport rather than an airline or an airline group (my guess). This is probably the "suckiest" lounge Ive found in the world. I honestly cant think of a worse lounge that Ive visited.

It si always a great experience stay in such nice place. Facilities are just right for a short relaxing time, food and beverages are good enough to be satisfied, no much amenities than a couple of TV sets playing sports mostly, the bar is good but they keep stamping your boarding pass to keep a record of how much glasses of alcohol have you asked for. Bathroom and resting areas are clean and always attended by someone. Enjoy!

This „VIP Lounge“ is an absolute joke. The lounge restricts the number of alcoholic drinks to 1 (i.e. Aviancaor 2 (LAN/LATAMper visitor. Never seen something like this before. WiFi is unstable, switches off several times so that you can activate again.

We showed our business-class tickets at the counter, but were told that Sumaq does not work with Copa Airlines, even though Star Alliance lists Sumaq lounge on their website.

Fairly large, gloomy, windowless lounge with disappointing food, austere seaying plans and a somewhat depressing vibe. Eating ham sandwiches that have been stored under a heat lamp seems more than a little risky before a 12 hour fight. Extracting either of your 2 permitted alcoholic beverages from the bar staff is more difficult than drawing the blood of a reluctant Moche sacrificee. On the plus side there are showers.

The lounge is very big and beautiful but the foods variety is very poor. Moreover you can have for free only one alchoolic drink then everything must to be payed and its so unusual for a VIP Lounge.

Even though Salon Sumaq is not exactly Air France business class lounge at Charles de Gaulle and not even United Polaris in Newark, for Peru (and for many US airportsit is as good as it gets. The lounge is very spacious, with ample number of seats for relaxation and tables for taking your meals. The food choices are quite decent for an airport food, there are sandwiches, some with good salami (Sandwich de Salami, Lechuga y Tomate), pre-packed Chef Salads, several relishes (Runch, Red Hot Chili Cream, Huancian Cream), hot potatoes, etc. To make a long story short, the food wasnt much worse than our United dinner flying business class from Newark to Lima.Free WiFi and TVs complete the picture. The restrooms, however, are strangely located by the exit from the lounge.

Very nice new/renewed space. The desserts are fantastic the good was a bit basic for me. But my husband enjoyed. You have to provide your boarding pass to get an adult beverage. The variety of juices is more than could be expected. And the fresh orange juice machine is to die for.My biggest complaint is that when we came in there were two food stations open. The first food station had more options (and in my view better optionsthan the other, e.g. fresh orange juice machine, chicken salad sandwiches, chocolate cake, another cake and chocolate cup cakes. None were on the smaller station. Well they closed the larger station while we were there and cut off assess to the best cupcakes and the fresh orange juice machine.

Even though the lounge is fine, the bar is good, I find two really disappointing issues: the food is rather a money safer, instead of representative for Peru. Further, they wrap every single fruit in plastic. This is absolutely aweful and a shame!

As far as airport lounges go, these rank as some of the worst. In Peru, VIP cards are given away by Banks like candy, and the result is a way to crowded, way to chaotic space. Expect a full queue at the door. Once you are in, try and squeeze in where you can on the worn-out furniture. And lastly, staff do not bus the lounge well even when it is quiet; dirty plates and cups can be found on every flat surface. A new lounge is supposedly opening soon and frankly cant come soon enough!

Very full. Had to wait 15 minutes or so to get two seats together. And that was on a Saturday afternoon - not the busiest of times, I would have thought. Each guest is limited to 2 alcoholic drinks. Your boarding card gets stamped at the bar by the rather brusque bartender. Two stamps and no more drinks are served. This includes beer and wine. Food is essentially nuts, crisps and a few pieces of cake. Terrible.

A bit crowded. And I have to say they have these fake display cakes on the buffet that are really tacky and they had to label them not real food. Why even have them in the first place they are not professional looking and the do not eat signs are even worse.

Wow, really great lounge with great food. My favorite is the fresh orange juice machine. The staff is always refreshing the food with different varieties so many times there is something new to try. The one down side is that they limit your stay there for four hours so if you have a super long layover you might not be able to stay the entire time (although no one seemed to actively keep track so not sure how they enforce this).

“Full” on a Tuesday night with a 45 minute, Vegas club style horrible velvet rope clad queues, just to get into the horribly dated space. Crowded, food awful, they limit drinks, and it was a mess. Embarrassing. AVOID. AVOID. AVOID.

A serious lack of quality here. In need of a dress code. The food is ok, a fair selection. The facilities are ok. But the main problem are the people. This lounge is full of the least educated people I’ve ever seen in a lounge. Just total lack of manners, playing videos on phones, making calls, people wearing flip flops and shorts, tracksuits.I would describe this place more as a cheep caffe. I see a longe to be a place for people to relax, It’s a shame that they let in people who have so little manners.Staff are attentive and good at their jobs, but it feels like they are just trying to pack as many people into the room as possible. Which is also a shame.
