Wir haben es 2 Tage vorher nochmal telefonisch probiert und haben direkt einen Tisch bekommen. Service musste immer wieder etwas zu unseren Bestellungen nachfragen.. haben wir woanders erheblich besser erlebt. Essen sehr hochpreisig und dafür nicht gut genug. Ich war bereits vor einem Jahr einmal hier und nun vor einer Woche wieder und mir gefiel es beide mal wirklich super.Die Vorspeisen waren sehr lecker, das Rinder Carpaccio war wirklich mega zart und schmeckte sehr gut,vorallem war die Soße dazu sehr passend, auch der Burrata war schön cremig und richtig lecker.Das Steak zusammen mit den French Fries war auch saftig und die Garstufe Medium-Rare wurde gut getroffen. Nun zum Sushi was wirklich auch jedes mal überragend ist, von Lachs bis zu Crispy Chicken war für jeden was dabei, hier können sogar Leute die gar keinen Fisch mögen mal richtig lecker Sushi probieren.Das Crème Brûlée war auch sehr lecker und ich entschied mich für das Mango Sorbet dazu, was wirklich auch einen richtig guten Mango Geschmack hatte, Alles in Allem nur zu empfehlen! Geplant war wieder ein Esse zu viert. Das Stocks hatte uns vor Corona mit einem fantastischen Sushi begeistert. Preislich schon oberen Segment hat es aber leider enttäuscht. Im Gruß aus der Küche waren haarartige Fäden! Es soll sich um Pflanzenfasern handeln. Zumindest hat sich in diesem Fall jemand bemüht. Ich hatte nie Pflanzenfasern bei einer Joghurtsauce, aber nun gut, ich hoffe es war wirklich kein Haar.Zu Beginn hatte wir je 3 Suppen: Stocks Bouillabaisse, Steinpilz und Hummersuppe. Dann noch das Lachs Tartar. Die Vorspeisen waren wiederum sehr gut. Sehr viel Einlage in den Suppen, das Tartar ebenfalls sehr gut abgeschmeckt. Das war leider schon das beste vom Abend.Der Hauptgang mit dem Rind vom Grill sollte 2 mal gebracht werden, davon jedoch eins Medium plus. Leider wusste der Service nicht, welches zu welchem Gast gehört. Man solle einfach mal gucken welche Soße die richtige sei. Dumm nur wenn die Trüffel und Morchelsauce gleich aussehen. Der Tip mit nach den Pilzen suchen, ist da eher nicht hilfreich.Das Surf und Turf war ein wenig zu lang gegart, aber noch im Rahmen.Das Wiener Schnitzel leider eine Katastrophe. Tot frittiert und entsprechend trocken und zäh.Der Service leider kaum erreichbar. Erst beim abräumen wurde mal gefragt ob alles in Ordnung sei. Kritikfähig ist der Service aber nicht. Man hätte mal früher Bescheid sagen können. Schwierig wenn keine kommt. In einem Restaurant, welches recht hohe Preise veranschlagt und zur gehobenen Gastronomie gehören möchte, erwarte ich da etwas anderes. Knapp 20 min hat es immerhin gedauert, bis man sich berufen fühlte die leeren Teller abzuräumen. Ich kann natürlich als Gast das nächste Mal gerne durch den Raum rufen oder per Telefon eine Meldung geben.Und das absolut schlimmste! Es kann immer mal passieren, dass man sich im Service in den Daumen schneidet. Aber mit einem sichtbar bereits dreckigem Verband die Teller anfassen und dem Gast so das Essen servieren, geht einfach gar nicht. They were relaxed, flexible and very very welcoming. Food was great and so was the atmosphere!We got (no reservationa table in the wintergarden where a couple of bdays were being celebrated, which normally might have made me feel out of place, but like I said, the staff was so great that it felt good just the same.Ive definitely added Stocks back onto my list of places to go. I hope they maintain this new style.

Just had the most marvellous of evenings at the Kaminstube. A veritable triumph; a testament to all that is good and beautiful about the dining out experience - impeccable food, personable yet professional service, a rare generosity of heart and spirit. Life affirming.

This is the favorite place of the locals. It is a fish place but in the second floor there is Kaminstube which is a german comfort food restaurant. Kaminstube is only open in the warm months as it is open space but the main restaurant opens all year. Go there and experience it. It is very good. Make a reservation as it is always busy!

After reading positive information about Stocks, I took my daughter there for a Birthday dinner...very disappointed. The service could use improvement. The Lachs Tartar had no flavor, the combination Lachs & Rind Carpaccio..what should I say . I ordered it in the hope for a new experience for my taste buds. Once there, never again

Very modern rustic tyrolean restaurant in Hamburg serving traditional dishes from... Tyrol. Food is really fabulous, staff is really friendly, welcoming, attentive and always good for a funny word - it is a bit like being on holidays in the south... where the owner, Heiko Stock, apparently got the idea for the place...He also runs the sushi, fish and other specialities restaurant at ground floor level... So you will get some of the sushi dishes upstairs in the Kaminstube as well...If you prefer your dinner formally, stay at ground floor, if you prefer a more casual atmosphere the Kaminstube upstairs is your choice.Food lovers will not be disappointed!

Visited it for its supposedly very good sushi. The choice is very limited (only special inside out roles). The sushi itself was good, but not outstanding.The service was impolite and quite terrible to be frank. Yelling at each other frequently which is quite disruptive.Parking is very hard.Overall quite disappointing. Maybe their other food is good, but I wont visit for sushi again.

Lovely food and great service. Had a great salmon tartar, pasta with prawns & lobster and créme brûlée. All great. Had octopus & then the desert variation recently and these were also great. Great service from friendly, knowledgeable staff. If you like fish & seafood I can highly recommend this place. While on the expensive side, I found the food & service good value for money especially when you consider their portion sizes.

The restaurant is located in a heavily treed neighborhood with a large park located behind it. All of the plated were beautifully done and the desserts were fantastic. I would highly recommend this restaurant for both familys and nice evenings out.
