Huge sports bar with high-def TVs, built-in beer taps at the tables & pub grub.
STATS Brewpub in Jonesboro
Description
Privilege
Fun place. Went on a Saturday night to watch UGA, GT and the Braves. Problem is they closed at 10 and nobody could watch the second half. Will not be going back. If you are going to be a “sports bar” may want to stay open for the local sports- just an idea.
MoreThe place is very nice and clean. Quick service. We got the nachos which were really good. The bar tenders were nice. We were here early in the morning so it was not too busy. I did not use the restroom so I don’t know how does look. But overall a we had a good time.
MoreNice place, has a lot of levels = a lot of stairs. Staff was. Ery professional and friendly.
MoreThere for a private party so not sure hour they are regularly. Nice selection of beer and the staff was friendly and attentive.
MoreWhat a gem we found while visiting Atlanta this weekend! We walked in and were greeted and seated quickly. The menu was easy to scan and access with our phones. Our server, Jacey, was a delightful human. She took excellent care of us- she made great suggestions, was incredibly friendly and provided fabulous service. The beers were very good and they had a good variety of choices. The pretzel appetizer was perhaps the best pretzel I’ve had. With “everything” seasoning sprinkled on top, the flavor was on point. With both cheese and mustard for dipping, these were a hit. The cheeseburger was juicy and cooked to perfection. The wings, while a tad pricey for the serving size, were also cooked to perfection and had just the right amount of sauce. We highly recommend this restaurant and would definitely return if in the area!!
MoreWe came in for a drink, and waited over 30 minutes at the bar to order. The bartenders tended to cleaning/stocking rather than helping everyone seated at the bar area. They also allowed children to be sat at the bar which was an interesting call out. They have a pretty dark ambience and it may have just been an off day for the establishment. They have seating with taps that are built into the tables that can be activated at the har area which I thought was pretty cool. They have a robust beer menu and the prices are relatively cheap.I’m glad we only stayed for a drink, one was enough
MoreGreat nachos. Pretzel was fluffy and the beer cheese had good flavor. Overall food veer choices that add to the menu. Quick in and out restaurant. Service was friendly and attentive.
MoreI wish I had pictures but thats okay. Probably one of the best places Ive been out to eat at in a while. I got the fish and chips, my friend got Nachos. Even the kids food was good. Everything was fresh, and delicious. Service was excellent.Im trying to find an excuse to go back to Atlanta so I can eat here again. Definitely on my mandatory list when we go back.Their meu is limited but thats okay because they do everything on that menu absolute justice. Superb.
Morenice place !!spacious, friendly staff and the seating/tables are comfortable..food menu had more then enough choices(personal had the brisket burger which was really tastyand finally a place that has thin sliced fries !..drink menu and beers are good as well , not extraordinary tastes but all good and tasty..I would most definitely recommend this place and go back here again when I am in atl
Morethe bartender is clearly overwhelmed- i sat at hightop adjacent bar , and after 15 minutes approached another waiter and bouncer , both chatting. I asked if host desk had inadvertently sat me in a closed section; the bouncer immediately talked to bartender, who related through him "she was closing two checks, and would be right over."I waited another 15 minutes, in full view of host desk.I left .If only either the bartender or host desk had honestly said, "You may or may not get served tonight" I would not be writing this - i.e. Stats staff caused me to miss opportunity to have dinner [ it was later in evening - all other places just closed when i left ]]If they had been honest, i would have had options.I had been there previously [ three other times ] - service was adequate, although robot - like [ "our menu is scanned / what do you want / check simply dropped ] ... it occurred to me that i had previously there before 5 pm.Quick beer review : sadly watery , although not over priced
MoreA nice place. We had a delay with the food and the manager solved the problem. The manager was very friendly.
MoreCame in on a Friday at 6pm and was mostly empty. Sat at the bar and the bartender took over 5 minutes to notice me. Once she did it was a good experience: tasty amber ale and the double burger was pretty good. Prices are affordable compared to most other dining around the park.
MoreGood Service from JT. very helpful and attentive. I also like the manager, the white guy w glasses. Good food, I recommend the nachos.
MoreSince Stats opened I always wanted to go. On 6-3-2022 my family thought it would be nice to watch game 1of the nba finals. When we arrived the place was empty. Our seating wasn’t comfortable for 4 people to view the game. The food wasn’t good and our bill was $120 for 2 sandwiches3 drinks and a order of wings. Long story short I will not be going back. There’s more to the story I’m just tired of talking about it and I don’t think it matters. Good luck Atlanta
MoreMany locals suggested this restaurant. It was ok. Nothing great. Beer was good. Food ok.
MoreHas anyone else gotten sick from the burgers cooked on Sunday May 15 2022? Two members of my party that had burgers and fries has been throwing up profusely.
MoreSo good! Had the dirty bird - 👍🏼 Chef Brent was amazing, what a great guy to stop by our table and help with the kids! Will definitely be back, as long as chef Brent is there!
MoreGreat to see STATS back open. Nice to have another sports bar option downtown. Had the best server ever in Jordan. Very attentive to the table. I had the fish and chips and a Cowabunga Sour beer. Fish had a really nice thin and crispy batter, wasnt overly greasy, and perfect shoestring fries. The appetizers did seem a little pricey, being the same cost of an entree that included a side, so skipped those. Also, I understand staffing issues with some places still, but a gorgeous 80 degree day and the rooftop wasnt open. Especially watching 4 people standing around hiding behind the host station at the front door the whole time there. (They even waved a server over to seat me in another servers section and didnt seat me themselves.A manager told me their beers were sold at their sister restaurant next door and their patio was open. However when I went next door, the patio was closed and all the chairs on top of the tables at 4 pm in the afternoon when they opened at 11 am. Thats why I went back.
MoreFood was overcooked and dry. The fries were very crunchy, and honestly the batter on the fish tasted like old oil. Atmosphere was good, service was amazing.
MoreFood and service is great! Their un house brewed beer is delicious! However, they (STATS)is one of the many restaurants that PENALIZES customers that are not millennials or phone addicts, or, are of middle to senior age, who prefer physical menus or may not have smart phones. Any whom, great food and beer!
MoreFood portion is massive here. Definitely good value. Try the dirty bird
Excellent service. We showed up around 5 pm, were seated immediately, and had our drinks within 10 minutes. Our server, Jordan, was friendly and excited to help.Had the STATS Loaded Nachos and Double Cheeseburger, and it was more than enough to fill our bellies. Sweet tea was well made and freshly brewed (if you know, you know). They unfortunately werent doing flight tastings at the time we came.Bathrooms are located in a strange area, mostly secluded from the rest of the establishment via stairs. Saw families, couples, large groups, and individuals seated when we left (6 pm). Costs similar to those of the restaurants closer to our hotel stay.Had to skip down to the Beer Garden in order to get a growler, though. Generally a good environment to dine in (not sure how it changes on game days).
MoreCute pub, but hostesses were clueless when I asked about games. TVs really werent that big. Couldnt get a flight of my choice which meant what I did choose was only so-so and I have nothing to rave about. Food was good, but they failed to provide extra plates for a sharing appetizer.
MoreFood was amazing, its was a very clean looking establishment, and the drinks were great. Customer service was decent, but not the best and the reason I couldn’t give the fifth star. Overall Im completely satisfied and would return again no questions.
MoreGreat food. We (4had wings, cheeseburger, nachos, and the dirty bird. Also a doppelbock. Jordan (waiterand bartender were attentive and efficient. We’ll return next time we’re in town.
MoreGarbage sports bar. Went to watch March Madness and the had some college wrestling and gymnastics on the screen instead. Would rather go to any other sports bar. Tried to get the TVs changed but all the workers were too busy
MoreCool bar near Centinial Park. However, the service here is terrible. The bartender didn’t acknowledge us the entire time we were here. The only way to get her attention was by yelling out or waving your hand around for her to see. Other than that they don’t pay attention to their customers. We also waited for over 20 minutes for a side of ranch. Food and drinks are way overpriced for what you get also. The food quality is comparable to a fast food joint. Nothing special about this place other than the fact that it’s a sports bad near Centinial.
MoreThis has been the worse sports bar experience we have ever had. The waitress at the bar working February 20 was extremely rude to us. Aside from the fact that she took an extremely long time to attend us at the bar, she also declined us service. The service was horrible, the bathroom was disgusting, and the entire experience was dreadful. If you are in the ATL area please do yourself a favor and do not visit this brewhouse. We had so many positive experiences and this was the only negative one.
MoreStats is a decent sports bar. Tons of TVs and nice speaker system that allowed you to hear the TV and have a conversation. Service was good a little slow but it was Superbowl. The food could use better flavors BUT THE DRINKS were very good and reasonably priced. It is a good location that does not get overcrowded. A Nice hidden gem.
MoreCame here on Saturday for the Divisional Playoff games. Me, Wife and two kiddos. Service was warm, friendly and great! We got chicken fingers for the kids and Fish N Chips and Dirty Bird for the adults. Also a couple cocktails and beers. Overall great experience and they validate parking across the street in the garage. Would definitely come back.
MoreWe had a great time enjoying the local beers and the friendly service. Was open until 10 when most of the places in the area were closed.
MoreWow! I was thoroughly impressed with my most recent visit here. I have been a patron of this restaurant for years (pre-pandemic), and it had become so popular, that the service began to suffer.I was nervous after attending an event at the arena to give Stats another try, but I am so happy that I did.I am not sure if the management has changed since the pandemic or what, but they have raised the bar significantly.Upon entry we were greeted with kind smiles and welcomed into the restaurant, which never used to happened when the restaurant gained popularity some years back. The hostess kindly guided us to some seating, and asked if we were happy with the choice. We chose to sit at the bar because there were some games playing. We were immediately greeted by Ryan at the bar who was absolutely amazing, attentive, engaging, and upbeat. There was another person (forgot his namewho was working the bar with Ryan who was absolutely hilarious, observant, and amazing as well. The food was fresh, the fries were hot, and the bubbles were effervescent. I am so happy that I gave this restaurant another chance because they blew my expectations from all previous visits out of the water. Keep up the incredible work!
MoreThis place was so awesome. The pretzel and beer cheese were amazing. Our service was great and the drinks hit the spot. I will definitely be coming back here on the next trip to Atlanta. Shout out to our bartender, Ken, too. He was the best!
MoreDisappointing. One would think that a place billing itself as "the ultimate sports bar" thats right by the College Football Hall of Fame would be perfect for watching a college football game, but on a day when there was only one game on, the only audio we could get was first infomercials from the TVs by the main bar and then music, rather than the game audio. There are lots of TVs around the place, but most of them are small and not placed well to see from the booths. The menu is very limited, and the food was fine but nothing special. The servers were great.
MoreGreat experience with a really good waiter! We just wanted some good with good drinks before our show and Trey was patient, accommodating, and just an amazing human being. He had the bar help me make a drink to order and it was AMAZING. Will definitely be back and will request Trey!!
MoreGreat for watching a day full of marathon sports games. Sitting back with a beer in hand and munchies in the other hand. The atmosphere is very welcoming and staff go out of their way to accommodate you. It is pretty much typical sports bar food and alcoholic beverages for the sports fans alike.
MoreGreat drinks and the food was pretty good. Definitely a place to visit when your in the city. Very friendly staff and clean environment. I had top-shelf whisky w/ a splash of ginger ale and the grilled chicken w/ string beans and mashed potatoes.
MoreFood was absolutely amazing. Veggie Burger was moist better with grilled onions.Veggie burger with kale ceasarGreen Jackets (Avocado lettuce blk beans and salsa)
MoreVery good food and large drink selection! Nice views on the patio as well. Would come here again.
MoreThe service was amazing..... Lisa was on point with letting us know anything about the menu. I ordered a burger and it was heavenly. Omg, I havent had a good juicy burger from a restaurant in so long. The burger was seasoned to perfection. I got some cheese in every bite. I wanted to add jalapeños to my burger, but Lisa suggested I get them on the side. She said they were fresh jalapeños and they are pretty spicy when they are fresh. Man, she was not lying. I could only eat 2. My mouth was burning. I wanted to enjoy my burger so I took the rest of them off. I cant wait to come back.
MoreI searched online for a place with a rooftop to watch a Cubs playoff baseball game while in town. I was told the entire rooftop was booked for a party. What a bummer?! However, there were plenty of tv’s inside and my wife and I had a very good time overall. Good service from our waitress and the food & drinks were delicious.
MoreWas here for lunch and the food was very good but the tables were a little dirty. Returned for dinner for a private event and it was amazing, great food amazing service.
MoreThis place has the worst service I have had to experience in Atlanta. I saw three different tables show up and leave do do the lack of service. The beer is not that good, so its actually a horrible selection for a micro brew. The food has no taste to it whats so ever. Watching games is also interesting as they dont even know what they will play on the different TVs.
MoreGreat veggie burger. French fries had good flavor. Good beer selection. Great patio space on a sunny day. Great location downtown! In summary, good beer, good food, good vibes.
MoreI like the decor, good prices, menu had some gr8 veggie options, see pics below. However, it was new years eve so probably better service at another time. Food was ok. Server was not as attentive as she could have been but then again it was new years eve. May have to give another chance....
MoreThis place is called Maxs Coal Oven Pizzeria. Its located in Atlanta. The pizza was delicious. Doesnt it look mouth watering!? It tasted as good as it looks!! They also serve drinks, if you are over 21. So have your ID on hand if you are thirsty for an adult drink. The environment was mixed. There were families with children as well as couples.I recommend this place if you are in downtown Atlanta and want to get something to eat in a customer friendly atmosphere.
MoreGreat food and service! We randomly found this place and Im glad we did. Staff was courteous and very helpful. We decided to start with the boiled peanuts, a must! I ordered the fried chicken dish as my main meal and it was delicious. The establishment was semi busy, but the bartender (we sat at the barwas very attentive. Id definitely return here on my next visit to Atlanta.
MoreA good hang out place to have watch a game, have beers with amazing food. They drafts on the tables so its convenient, Wings and brick chicken was Great!
MoreDefinitely like the idea of having the beer tap in your table! Service was ok. Food menu; most dish names coined from sport terms which is cool and taste wise nothing special about it. I wish they offer more local beer on tap! They validate parking for up to 3 hours if you park across the street.
MoreThis review is in regards to a private event in the Fight Room at STATS. Our group held a private event during our professional organizations annual conference. Every year we struggle to plan an event like this from afar - sight unseen, budget uncertain until the last minute, walking distance to our conference hotel, and the right ambiance for both socializing and networking. STATS was the best venue we have held our event at in many years - the private room, catering, staff, and value all exceeded our expectations. It didnt even feel like a sports bar for our guests.
