SPIN Philadelphia - Restaurant in Philadelphia, United States
Great place for company events and family fun.
This place is an absolute must to visit while in Philly. The ping pong ball collection device is an absolute astonishment. The drinks, food, and atmosphere are all great... But you need to see how they pick up all the loose ping pong balls. Truly a modern marvel. 11/10!
Awesome spot, never heard of it before. A lot of fun with decent food and drinks.
We were hesitant to show up with our 11 year old but the reality was, he was the reason we were even going. That hesitation quickly disappeared once we were greeted by their staff and later their on-shift Pro Brian. It is essentially a pool hall, chill bar type vibe with good food. I would not bring your hard to wrangle child in this place or for that fact anyone under 9. Ping pong just became a new found love for our son as it was the main on site distraction for him during a long hospital stay. The time Brian spent with us just solidified our kids love for the game. Add in the fun photo ops, good food and great service and I am over here wishing I could give them 5 more stars. On the non-kid level, my husband and I are already making plans for when we can return. Drink, eat and hit some balls π p.s. we would have love to spend some moola on shirts but you were all out of Larges in most designs. Thanks for the great night for our group.
Could be top cause the wings were extremely good but pulled pork had just cumin taste and potatoes were too salty. The ping pong game is very very expensive.
This place is awesome. This was my first time at a ping-pong bar. I didnt even know these were a thing? I had never seen one before! You pay for either an hourly rental with a dedicated table or a happy hour type rental in which the tables are first come first serve and open reservation. They also have a full bar and kitchen, and most importantly, the atmosphere is pretty hip and trendy. It makes for a fun date idea or group activity. The tables were in good condition and there was no shortage of balls or paddles. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here. It is hidden underground but it is open to the public!
Loved it. Went for a conference party. Food was good. Drinks were a bit light but thats okay. Lots of things besides pingpong to do.
Place was great. Not super into Ping Pong personally, but our office went here after work and the food was good and the staff was incredibly friendly.
Decent drinks selection with a great atmosphere. Didnt know that a table tennis bar could be so much fun!
Tons of fun and a great vibe. Highly recommended!
I had a great time and I played ping pong with a professional Alex Torres
Very fun atmosphere, food and service were great!!!
Clean and fun place to play ping pong. The food was not enjoyable and cocktails werent balanced. The ping pong tables, while fun, are overpriced for the experience at $40/hour. I will not be returning.
We had a great time at SPIN. The equipment was in good shape and our group had an all you can eat and drink deal that seemed to work well. Staff was awesome too!
Nice cool place too have some fun and drinks. Food is awesome u have to get chicken and waffle. Great service.
Super cool location with great ping pong. Food options were really good as well. I was there for a corporate event so cant comment on price, but service was friendly. Would definitely come with friends.
A great place to chill out with friends for drinks and games. Good Mac& Cheese and steak.
Absolutely the best! We recently had a corporate event here ; and I cant say enough fabulous things about the venue and the amazing staff! Top Notch! Responsive from our initial inquiry, timely follow through, they were a dream to work with! The venue itself is so unique! Beautiful artwork by local artesians, food and drink were great ! 10 stars!
Friendly staff, fun times playing ping pong here!
We recently had a corporate event at SPIN and it was an amazing success. The staff was so helpful and expertly handled everything from pre-event planning to post event needs. The amazing staff helped our team and all of our customers to have one of the best and unique parties we have ever had. Wish we could give them 6 stars!
This spin location gets 2 stars because coat check stole money out of my belongings. It wasnt even a lot of money just enough to get me home on the train. Please check your belongings.
What a fun place. Fun staff, interesting food (try the chicken and waffles skewers), and ping pong balls everywhere. Our group of coworkers had a blast.
THE BEST EXPERIENCE! Booked a grad party with Arielle. She was a pleasure to work with. My guests loved the space and the food. Service was impeccable. Highly recommend.
Great concept!! Came here for a work HH and had a blast. The ping pong set up was great! The food and drinks were good and the staff is extremely friendly. Will definitely be back here adulting with friends.
This venue is amazing for networking hangouts. I had a GREAT time here!
Great Chill spot had a Great time. I feel like the cost for 2 ppl to play Ping pong is kind of expensive but hey your price is your price.
Loved this place from the second I set foot in it. Ping pong+drinks+ amazing Sriracha honey wings=a great time, every time.
We went early which was nice since it was less busy. Drinks were good and nachos were delicious! Great place for a bday party
Had an amazing time. Wait was a lil long to play Pin Pong but the food and drinks were amazing while we waited. Loved the decor as well.
An amazing venue and an amazing time. Very attentive servers and great food. Please try it out. Fridays and Saturdays are busy so book in advance. Have fun!
I went with my company and it was awesome. Drinks are a little expensive, but the food was amazing. Everything had a little bit of heat to it which Iβm really a fan of. The ginger buttermilk dip that comes with the wings is amazing and Iβd highly recommend it. I appreciate the relaxed vibes.
If you like ping long this is for you!!! We had a big group and were going to rent tables (which wouldve been alot of moneybut walked in and we glad we didnt reserve tables. It was also a Wednesday night. They have a nice bar and seating around the tables.
Cool spacious spot w/ a bunch of ping pong table ($40/hr). And other random games around. Only 2 areas w/ TVs. Bar area not fit for watching sports.Grilled chicken sandwich was good. Margarita pizza was pretty decent.Menu stated a side of fries for $10 - crazy - we didnβt get.Graffiti painting throughout.Iβll be back when in Philly.
This is a fun place! The space is as open as a gym but as cool as bar/lounge. Staff is a little funky, they leave you feeling like youβre the new kid in the playground. Ping pongs are endless so you donβt need to chase balls. I havenβt tried food yet, but Iβm willing to make this my spot
Really a surprising environment. Ping Pong tables, comfortable conversation zone, along with good food and drinks. Loved our Holiday Party here.Staff was super friendly and helpful. Will be back.
Discovered this place after a group party π. Itβs very spacious and a great place to have recreational pingpong while drinking. No stress pingpong is fantastic. Their drinks πΊ menu has all the essentials and they have food and bits as well. The service is great and the bar tenders were all nice. The atmosphere is lively and I recommend this sports bar especially for pingpong lovers and those who wld love to casually enjoy the game in a drinking setting. Cheers π»
This place is a ping pong players dream. It has a modern/brooklyn style ambience and a nice bar. The equipment is in great shape and the staff is friendly and organized. On the flip side, the craft beer selection wasnt the best and everything was a bit pricey. Overall, great experience.
Stopped in for a drink before reservations at Wonderspaces, but wish we could have stayed to play. Really cool space that offers something different to do. I canβt wait to return with friends.
Great place for office parties. The music is great, the employees are excellent, & the vibe is everything!!
Unique place, clean & safe environment, fun for the family--we thoroughly enjoyed our time, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Our server was very pleasant and efficient. TVs to watch sports, snack items available for purchase. Outdoor signage not prominent so dont walk past it like we did--directly across from Max Brennan chocolatier
I started going here a couple years ago and let me tell you, itβs a super cool spot. There are so many ping pong tables and the atmosphere is undergroundy and chill. When you get a table you get your own server who brings you drinks, which makes things convenient. So glad they lowered their table prices. Before they were just absurd. But all in all, I always have a great time when I come to SPIN.
Cool ping pong place! Theres not a lot like it, they have graffiti/wheatpaste all over and cool art on the walls. There are plenty of spots to lounge and plenty of tables so it is great for groups. Theres even special rooms that you can rent out. The staff up front were friendly at first but the woman bartending had extremely poor customer service she was unfriendly and unpersonable to me and my friend and was selective for who she was nice to. I noticed that one worker accidentally dropped a glass and our bartender rolled her eyes and scoffed at the girl who dropped it, as if she did it on purpose??? THEN the workers all the way on the other side of the bar exclaimed, "she always be dropping stuff!" and began making fun of her loud enough for literally everyone in the bar including the girl to hear. This is extremely unprofessional and rude. What awful staff members they have and poorly trained. Not a team at all.
Very cool place hang out. Tables are hard to get on Fri/sat nights but the vibe is so cool, you could just hang out for a drink and food. I didnt eat anything but the menu looked really interesting.
If you like table tennis this is your place. Fun and chill atmosphere with great staff, goofy and helpful.
We had a company event here. The catered food was delicious and the beer selection was decent. The service was really friendly and fast. The tables and paddles are well maintained and it was fun to play and socialize. Theres a lot of space, so we barely noticed that there were at least two other events also going on at the same time. It was a little loud, but you could still have a conversation.
Hip ping pong bar with great cocktails. Tables will fill up in advance its best to make reservations. We did see some parties reserve the red room and another area with DJs and their own waiters. Loved the banksy like art and variety of drinks served.
Great fun. You play ping pong and dont have to pick up or chase the balls. You just pull from never ending baskets of balls and keep playing
This is a fun place to hang out and have fun. The vibe is hip and contemporary. And you can drink, eat food, watch TV and play ping pong, all at the same time. But at $20+ / hour for the ping pong table use, best to go with a gang and rotate through short 11 pt matches, or play doubles. Hummus is bland.
This is a very cool place to hang out . . .its really more than just about ping-pong. The atmosphere is fun, and its a bar with big screens all around... theyll put on whatever you want in the background. And, you never have to waste time chasing your balls. There are two big buckets at both sides of the table filled with ping pong balls... miss that slam? Just grab a ball from the bucket and serve. Every now and then the "ballers" will come by with special pick-up nets and keep your buckets filled.Only down side is that its not cheap. Youll pay over $20/hr. just for the table, and your food and drinks on top of that. I didnt eat there, but my daughter ordered the hummus appetizer and it was extremely bland. But I still gave it four stars because I didnt got there to eat!
I love this place. The lighting is just right. It has great vibes. The music is always is always lifting. Not the usual "noise" in overcrowed bars and clubs, it is actual music you can listen to while you enjoy your drink, you ping pong game or your company. I alway plan to go back with a more of my mates. We went there for a friends birthday, paid for 2 hours at the "red room". It was great
