SOHO Coffee Co. - Coffee shop in Navan, Ireland
Asked for ham cheese sandwich but found onions ( i am allergic to them and i specifically mentioned it). Asked to make new sandwich without onions and got mushroom sandwich ( who eats mushroom sandwich 🤮), as i was hungry I asked staff to make ham cheese sandwich, third time lucky! Ill never come here again!
Coffee tasted good, and customer service was alright (can be improved). I ordered my coffee here, waiting to board my plane to come back to London. I got here fairly early, so I could enjoy my coffee in peace before boarding plane (can’t take coffee on the plane). It took them over 20 mins to hand over the coffees. Alright, it wasn’t just the one coffee I ordered. I had 4 in total as I was with my friends. But that’s no excuse to take that long making coffee, even though it wasn’t busy at all. I had to rush my coffee to get on the plane. Service was too slow. I gave 2 star because coffee was good.
Do yourself a favour and avoid this place. The menu is dire and their attempt at a pulled pork burger was cold, stale and smelled like death. Managed two bites of it before throwing it away and even then I had the misfortune of it repeating on me for the rest of the day. You’re better off grabbing food from the areas just after security before making the walk to the gates here.
I’ve been sitting here for an hour now and the tables have all of the same rubbish as when we arrived. Every table is dirty with rubbish. Dirty and it’s not that busy. Clean up boys!!!i do believe it was the same last time I was here a few months ago.
Staff need training. One girl not pulling her weight. Team need to work better. Seems chaotic for number of customers. Needs a managerRoasted sandwich not toasted. Mind you the guy did re toast it and was good. He was niceOther people in queue getting wrong orders etc.
Staff clueless and rude. Popping sandwiches into oven toaster and wrapping them up without knowing what they are. Then popping them open and checking what they are. Loads of peoples sandwiches went cold. Ordered a ham and cheese sandwich simple and they screwed that up. Staff beyond rude. Go somewhere else rather than here
Got a sandwich, beverage and crisps.I wasnt offered napkins or a bag so I asked for it.The assistent just repeated the price and pointed at the card-reader.First last and only visit.
POLYSTYRENE FOOD BOXES IN 2019!! Shame on you. Over inflated prices as to be expected at the airport. €8 for a jacket potato with barely any toppings, served in a completely non biodegradable, non recyclable environmental disaster. Sort it out.
They have a really big dining area with a beautiful view , and not too far from the gates . A good variety of food is served here . Their coffees are amazing as well. Please Do mind to stop here for a quick pint or a coffee before your journey. You would , especially for the whole ambience.
6:30 seems to be too early for staff to keep the orders in place, ordered a cappuccino, waited there while everyone was served, finally had to run to get my flight without the drink
Staff is very unfriendly and unprofessional. Music is too loud and staff are constantly changing songs on their Spotify account every three seconds instead of cleaning dirty tables, staff were playing all sorts of songs at a high volume like if they were at a house party. Very unpleasant for customers, as most of us would like to relax while having a coffee, and some people are trying to work on their laptops. All you get from sitting in this place is a headache!Recommendation to Head Office is to keep an eye on the management of this branch as they are hurting customer experience and the overall perception of the Soho Coffee Co brand...
Staff were not friendly. And just dumped the coffee on the table and said here you go and not even a small and walked off. If it was busy I would understand but it was not busy and only one other person behind me. My Latte is not hot its warm.
Bad experience. I had a halloumi avocado jacket potato which looked very different on my plate than on the poster. It was very messy and no seasoning was added at all. Plus the restaurant only offers plastic cups, plastic plates, plastic cutlery even if you eat in! I will never come here again on my airport break.
No one tidies the place after the customers. All the tables were free in the sitting areas but very dirty and full of left overs. We did not feel relaxed in this coffee shop unfortunately.
1st trip I waited 15mins in tge que to be told ge couldnt put tge sale though as he had no change ogg a €50 note.... had to leace all back.... 2nd trip 10mins later, Coffee was cold, complained and asked for a warmer cup..... the 2nd wasnt much better..... Customer service was brutal.... staff looked miserable and completely unmotivated...... for the price of the coffee etc not a great experience and I wouldnt bother to return.
Totally disgraceful. I know airports capitalise on a captive audience but this place is unbelievable. €2.65 for a 500ml bottle of coke €1.65 for a packet of crisps and anything between €5.95 (egg mayo sandwichup to €8:95 for something which actually has enough substance to it that you may not be able to read a newspaper whilst looking through it. Avoid this place unless you are Rockefeller. Walk the 150 metres or so to WH Smith which you have to pass to get to Soho Coffee Co. and get a drink, sandwich and crisps for the same price as the egg mayo thing passed off as a sandwich at this rip off joint.
With 2 queues and 2 working tills youd think it would be simple to serve but youd be wrong. Immediately after answering a question from a lady in our q, one of the geniuses here hopped on the 1 free till and started serving the other (freeflowingqueue while ignoring our (not moving at allqueue. When I pointed this out he couldnt seem to understand what was happening. The Leopold place further down is grand.
Considering your options and likely low expectations, the breakfast was pretty good. Food was hot, flavor was as expected. If youre hungry and need breakfast in the airport then this will do.
For once they have plenty of pastries. Probably because there are no customers. The staff are pleasant but inevitably it is overpriced. I expect that. But turning off the power points so you cant charge your phone shows just what cheapskates they are.
SOHO Coffee are over priced, have poor labeling and senior Management fail to listen and take ownership of customers concerns. Personally I will never shop in SOHO Coffee stores and recommend you dont either.
Very poor food quality, couldnt really classify it as food. Just ordered the pancakes at Dublin Airport. They came out barely warm covered in cheap jam, disgusting!
I just bought a tuna and cucumber baguette. After one bite I threw it in the bin. The baguette was rock hard and tuna appeared gone off. I didnt have time to return it as I was running for a flight. An absolute disgrace that you are selling disgusting food like this in Dublin airport!
Not the first time I’ve ordered baked potatoes from here everytime I order they never seem to have what’s on the menu! And it says on the menu cheddar cheese when it’s not even cheddar it’s mozzarella !!! Update your menu or get the right ingredients
Very, very slow service and very poor selection of pastries.
The lady who served me was very blunt no customer service at all. My jacket potato was very dry and bland Compared to what they are advertising on the board behind. The atmosphere in the seating area is nice which gives it the extra star 🙄
Only a 🌟. Why? I ordered a soya cappuccino and surprise the counter charged me 60 cents more because I asked soya milk instead of normal milk? What the ** service is that?? 60 cents more because I dont drink normal milk? However I wait 6 mins because they also forgot to make this soya cappuccino but they served other customers that came after me. Unacceptable!! If you willing to have a soya drink here just ask before order because they charge more of what they actually listed. I dont recommend this place at all. We are in 2019 and they are still charging the soya milk that costs the same of normal milk. Unacceptable!!!!! The service is also poor and the counters looked stressed and tired. Bad experience ever!
Unpleasant service, no welcome no smile!!! Just place your order and go. No prices displayed at the counter and fridge. Got coffee and shortbread biscuit, has been charged for butter croissant @€2,65 - should get at least 3 biscuits for that price. Price scammers. When I spotted on the receipt I was told thats the price for biscuit.
Decent coffee when you need to be close to the gates. Manager is quite unpleasant with both customers and staff. Dont expect to be served with a smile.
I just had terrible experience here.It ruins your mood before traveling...I was going to order a big breakfast and was told by the nice lady that there was no mushrooms, so I asked: are the other menus only available after 11:30?She said yes.So I went closer to the breakfast menu to see options, the Indian-looking Middle aged guy who is standing at the cashier close to the breakfast menu started to talk: “No need to get angry, everything is written, available after 11:30” I told him I’m not angry just checking the menu, he insisted: “You are angry, why angry... “I didn’t want to talk to him any more and didn’t want to order food from a store having employees with such rude attitude so just left .......
I got a jacket potato here. It was genuinely one of the worst things Ive ever eaten in my life. Dry (I managed 3 bites), stingy (there were two bite sized bits of chickenand expensive (just under 8 euro). Please avoid, this is awful even by airport standards.
When you are close to gates it us the decent place to stay the view is nice. Food decent for something in a hurry the fruits sometimes good sometimes it could be better. Some food in the morning on the menu it is not served only after 11 am.
Worse coffee shop in airport.Food and capuchino is disgusting.
Decent coffee, fast service and plenty of seating. The little shop has nice enough snacks and treats. Located conveniently near arrivals so its great for waiting around or grabbing a hot cup after your flight. Would recommend it
Thursday 29th 7.30 a.m. very slow service, no brown sugar for high priced coffee, staff very sullen, no milk in jugs at coffee station. Staff reluctantly handed me a new carton from the fridge.
Most disgusting food at the airport. The employees are also really incompetent.
This morning I had coffee and some pastry. All very poor quality and overpriced. Tables very nice but dirty. Will avoid in the future.
Staff lied about being sold out because she didn’t know how to prepare the food. When her colleauge explained to her how she made it she asked if I was shure thats what I wanted. I then asked for a beer on tap insted of a bottle. Staff said she already registred the bottle. When I asked if she could redo it she rolled her eyes at me. They then mixed up both my meal and drinking-order, so I had to go back twice.
If you dont do pork... 9am out of mushrooms, out of toast, no cheese. Get an egg brioche = disappointment. Not even the effort to butter it.We also dont have the chai tea. What do you have...Eat literally anywhere else in the airport.
What a disgusting place to go for coffee on your way out of Dublin (or even as your welcome to Ireland! The woman pictured below had the worst attitude. Disgusting. “What do you want for coffee,” she asked. I shared, “I’d love an iced latte with soy milk”. She barks back, “No! No no no iced drinks today. No.” I shared I’ll take the iced drink without the ice. She didn’t acknowledge the order. She tells her coworker to take over the register and walks away. I asked the new employee, “Is she having a bad day?” The new employee says, “Who? Me!?”I shared with her that I wasn’t speaking of her but the woman who recently helped (actually barely even helpedand she treated me poorly. While I was waiting for my coffee, they were talking about me and the woman pictured below shot me dirty looks, walked over, and shoved my coffee at me.What kind of world do we live in??? Where do these people believe it’s ok to behave this way?
The only reason this gets one star is because I have to tap something to leave this review ... this is THE MOST AWFUL experience i have had!! They were not only out of the first thing but also the second choice and third that I asked for!! They were completely unapologetic and the rude tall blonde even made a whispered comment to her coworker after I said I do not like bacon. Needless to say I left purchasing only a cold sandwich out of necessity which after I read the ingredients on the side to ensure there was no bacon I opened it to find BACON!! The labeling wasnt even accurate!! How very embarrassing for this establishment to be so horrific!
The worst.I counted four staff (one seemed to be of supervisor levelwith only one operating a till with a busy queue; I waited 15/20 mins (3rd in lineto pay for my sandwich though it proved to be damaged/open packaging; one onlooking staff lazily said there was no more in stock while the only vigilant (hard workingstaff member found a replacement. The lazy staff member (who regularly checked her personal phonedismisses the descrepancy; zero managerial oversight.
Just got a breakfast sandwich. Good ingredients but the bread used its the regular tost, just because the girl didnt want to tost the property breakfast sandwich bread. Not a good service.
Am here in Dublin airport on 25th January 2018. 1pm. Floor is filthy. Looks like days of dirt. Person cleaning tables hasnt clue. Wiping from table onto floor. I like the coffee here so come often. Cleanliness is a big problem. We had to clean down our table before sitting. Get a grip Soho.
Liked the sandwich i had, it was grilled and it was quite fresh, didnt like the staff, very mean to everyone, like if doin you a favour for servin you. And it was not only to me but to a few more customers after me.
Tried the full breakfast, some parts were good(sausages), some were not (eggs looked old, single slice of unbuttered bread). The staff was not friendly, didnt seem to know how to do their job and arguing with each other.
So called barista, let half the espresso leak out of the cup.. and I asked for a new pour, since Im paying almost 3€ for a espresso.. answer was, it was supposed to be like that ... and i know it wasnt since I explained that Im a trained barista, and know the difference. But with her limited English she couldnt understand what I was asking or just completely ignored me.. which im guessing the later...
Great porridge, Irish breakfast, section of pastries and drinks, always busy. Expensive. Coffee not recommended.
Worst toast I ever had in my whole life. It didnt have any spices or cheese or anything like that inside it to make it taste better. Along that, they didnt have the potatoe nor smoothies. Wake up, this is an airport.
What an absolutely shambles. Theres 4 staff visible, one is serving (massive queue), one is cooking and making drinks, what appears to be the manager is just stood there texting on his mobile, whilst the other is just bumbling around doing nothing. All the tables are covered in waste. Absolute mess, yet zero urgency from any staff.
OMG staff completely not suitable for the airport environment. Think twice before attempting ordering something as you may well miss your flight. Tables, floor, milk & sugar stand complete mess. Not recommending
