Good location, nice personal.

Good hotel quite close to the city centre. Room was spacious and clean. Beds were comfortable even though the pillow was way too fluffy and flappy. Bathroom was clean, well equipped and spacious.Breakfast was very good with plenty of options to choose from. Everything seemed fresh, and staff took care to replenish foods efficiently.The bar attached to the hotel, Kummeli was really great in décor and selection was good. Downside is the pricing, as usually in Finland.

A lovely hotel. My kids and I felt really welcome. The rooms were clean and modern, the breakfast was good and there was a nice (though a little coldpool.I recommend staying here!

Normal Scandic. No air-conditioning though. Bed and bathroom were okay. Restaurant was closed so we had to hunt our dinner elsewhere. This hotel is in the town centre, one either like it, or not. Its noiser but restaurants and sights are closer.

The room was okay we only had one bed for two people?! the bathroom was a bit too small. The door was broken so everytime somone closed their door the air pressure somehow always shaked our door. we could not sleep very well when the door was shaking and people were screaming in the hallway. The door was basically made out of cardboard.the breakfast was good but there were no fruits.😪 The staff were friendly except for one when we told them about our door. 3,5 stars

This hotel is not a hotel but a motel. The rooms dont have air conditioning, there is no room service after the "hotel" staff have left. We had booked a night for two people, but there was only towels for one in the room. No complementary water, not to speak of any sweets on pillows. The location was not 500m from the centrum, closer to 1.5km. The breakfast was not optional, it was subsidised in the room price. The worst part was that the breakfast was only available in 15 min. time slots, and only available until 9:15. The cost for a night was similar to the best hotels in Helsinki, and the service and accommodation was poorer than most hostels. I will never come back to Oulu if I can avoid it, and especially never use Scandic services. Worst hotel experience of my life.

Disastrous checkin considering Covid-situation! Lobby full of people and slow processing with only 2 receptionists. Cannot have been very hard to predict?The rooms & beds fully ok and clean. Breakfast did seem quite calm, and the offered breakfast bag was really good 👍🏻
