Attention: if you are foreign or from outside egypt, don’t even think to visit this place The worse customer service, call center & management , I call them for reservation and they side yes contact us through WhatsApp, I did what they said suddenly they ask me to send my social media account ( Instagram or Facebookto check as what they mean to see how you look( even through we don’t wear head scarf, then suddenly after he check Instagram accounts side we rejected your reservation, that was unprofessional and worse treating ever, they can tell me from the beginning you will enter beside on your look, I visited most world luxuries restaurants and never heard this rasict policy or even face this problem, now after I read the reviews I know this place doesn’t worth even 1$, I preferred to pay more in a professional place with good behaved stuff

Very unprofessional &disrespectful !!!!! I’ve made a confirmed reservation for an important event and they cancelled only 2 hours before the appointment for abrupt repair !!!

I like the place so much. the meat fillet was amaaaaaaazing . really was one of the most dishes I like all my life . the bar guys were fun and decent . special thanks for Marco for the nice hospitality . I have one concern was the music . the DJ guy was soooooooooooooo boring even he played more than one song 2 times and I dont know why

A very bad experience. The place is overrated & overpriced. I had a reservation on a weekday and it wasn’t a good choice at all ,No live vibes . The waiter who was assigned to our service ( guess his name was mecheal )was such a rude guy with no common sense at all. He could easily interrupt your conversation with your partner just to ask you for orders. Overall the staff are not professional and it’s not a 5 starts place to spend a nice night as expected. Not recommended and won’t for sure repeat this experience.

Baaaad experience!We reserved for the lounge and they told us if we didn’t arrive at 9 p.m. the reservation will be canceled.We arrived at expected time and we found that the restaurant was empty! All their customers start to come at 10:30 and 11 p.m.Also horrible service, the waiter kept asking us for tips.

Lovely view but the doorselection workers are very rude even with having a reserved table. And great cocktails honestly but also too overpriced.

Worse place ! Not letting people coming in as a tourist shouldn’t guess we need to book a week ahead, would not recommend it to anyone coming from abroad !!

The peoples who handle the reservations were so rude they ask me to send my profile in Facebook or IS to confirm the reservation then they said fully booked even my friend were calling them at the same time and tell them that she don’t have any social media accounts and they give her reservation so we definitely not trying again 👎👎

Food is okay, service is awful. Took us an hour just to order food. Music could also be better. People are friendly tho thats why they are getting some stars

I love the place.Nice restaurant and bar, where you can enjoy music, food and drinks.The music and atmosphere is wonderful.Alcoholic beverages and liquor served, as well as soft drinks.The selection of wine is very nice. You can have your dinner together with the wine in a nice elegant atmosphere. There is a good selection of spirits and beer as well.The desserts are limited.Waiters and staff were really nice.A highly recommended place.

Food is awful, drinks & cocktails are very bad, service is not so good also people are very rude and even the music and the vibes wasn’t that good! Can’t find one thing that makes this place is still working or that will make me will ever go there again!

After asking why couldnt sit at the window cos it was empty, we could switch. Afterwards they ask my Egyptian husband and his cousin suddenly for no reason for their ID, which is really unpolite. It felt like we are not welcomed.After ordering they served a big bottle of water and filled it in the glasses without asking and wanted to charge 40 LE, even we didnt touch it. I was ordering a lemon juice with mint for 75 LE and as climax they charged 150 LE for a Virgin Mojito, I wasnt ordering. They tried to discuss and wanted to sell that simple lemon juice for a higer price. Also while the paying process we needed to wait for a long time and had to ask serveral times.This place is very unprofessional, unpolite and unacceptable. Also the music was extremly loud that it was exhausting to talk.Never visit this place!

Very bad place .. i dont recommend it at all .. if you are couples you will have to sit only on the very crowded bar area and they will give only 1 chair for both of you .. we left the place just after 30 mins from entering it .. wont try to go there again

Let’s start from the door and the 2 ignorants that have no clue how to deal with customers. Make a reservation online and when you get there they’ll still give you a hard time. If you order anything it will take forever, even if it’s water.

I was shocked about the rudeness of the staff at the door ... I was explaining that my reservation was done & the person was in the phone .. after my assertive request.. the reply was no nothing for you.. crazy .. I was ready to spend some money... definitely not recommended!!!!!

We had the worst experience in this place. We booked this place for special occasion. When we went there the staff at the door was very Rude. Three (3guys at the door with zero social skills. We were suppose to have a table, the guy at the door says no available table and we have to sit at the bar (Standing)?? what the hell was that.. I was about to leave this place but for curiosity I decided to check the place.. First the place is very Dirty, Waiters inside they say us standing and many empty tables, no one asked us to have a seat.. Very Rude People. Obviously, we left the place and didnt stay that night. Thank you Saas for ruining this special occasion for us .Its a big No No.. I do not recommend this place to anyone..

Been there a couple of times, a 5 star for the location, view and decorations.But seriously it’s a big 0 when it comes to the attitude.The guys at the entrance needs to learn some manners, every-time they are getting rude more and more...Telling me at the door in front of my guests that people are gonna be charged the minimum charge and my guests are foreigners!!!Btw we were 6 and our bill was freaking 8000.Have some common sense and manners.

The waiters were not flexible at all.We arrived 15 minutes late so they said reservation was canceled and we have to sit on the bar, after we went in and till they close... lot of tables were not reserved and were free till the place closed at 1:00 am

The atmosphere is really nice and elegant with a perfect view on the Nile. Food is tasty. However, the manager (I guess he waswas absolutely unprofessional with us. We made a reservation but apparently there was no table left. Instead of finding a way to place us to the bar or something else, he looked annoyed and even started to be agressive. It took me 10 minutes to explain him with his own style that his behaviour is everything but acceptable and he ended up saying he was sorry, the least he could do.

Nightmare..a true nightmare experience at #SASS!We made a brunch reservation @1pm to have some girls time and celebrate a friend’s birthday ,when we arrived we were the only in the whole place, while we were waiting for a friend to arrive we ordered 7 rolls of sushi and a salad @3pm..food didn’t come to table till 4:30 though we were the only table!!! We inquired the food many times through that period and every time we were being replied that food will be served in 5 minutes with no progress.. so we started taking pictures to pass the waiting time and apparently that was amusing for the waiters staff who were setting in a corner smoking and browsing their mobiles..anyway food finally arrived with such horrible below average quality, rolls kept falling apart every and each time however to save the day and keep the good spirit giving that we were literally starving we ate the food served..and afterwards decided to sweeten the day with some dessert that was the worst thing I have ever been served my whole entire life..we ordered profiterole and we were served three stoned bread balls filled with chocolate paste ..the dough was extremely hard that if you smashed it to a wall it will return back at you, we complained that it is unacceptable and that we had a very bad experience with the sushi but the dessert is no way to accept so the waiter took it back and promised another SPECIAL one which was slightly better but still such a disappointment.To end such lovely experience we requested the check and here we come again after We requested a POS to pay with credit card and after entering the pin code the waiter took the machine with the card and just left and then came back that the transaction was rejected so we requested the rejection receipt and the answer was that the machine didn’t print anything so we checked with the bank and actually the transaction counted, debited on our account and got an authorization reference.. so the transaction were completed!!!!!We refused to repeat the transaction again and we requested a manager which wasn’t available at the time so we got the receptionist!!!!!The receptionist attitude lack any customer service principles I told him what happened through the whole experience and feedback was as follows:nobody ever complained our food or sushi quality otherwise we would have took it off the menu.SASS is not waiting for your money..do you know how much we earn per day!!!!And he summed the matter by calling the restaurant manager who wasn’t much better but we concluded the matter by leaving them my mobile number and if the bank refused their claim I will be back to repeat the transaction after receiving whatever rejection proof they have or if the transaction wasn’t actually debited to my account, a solution that took approximately another 60 minimum to reach.Two hours later we received a call from the manager that we have to come and repeat the transaction and that we have to settle the invoice or it will be deducted from the staff mentioning that this is a common issue happening everywhere and that we are making a big fuss!I was truly chocked of the attitude and how they deal with the customers. I truly doubt that any owner would be fine with such low standard behavior..so I wanted to give everyone considering SASS a glimpse of what to expect!! And hopefully such review reaches the owners before they go out of business because of their staff.Don’t get fooled by the social media advertising and marketing this place is trash!

Just by calling reservations it’s enough to tell that there is zero customer service or any regard what so ever to customer needs. I called almost a week ahead to reserve for a special occasion. I was very clear to reservations that if my reservation is not confirmed to kindly inform me ahead of time so that I have time to make other arrangements. They didn’t ask where I prefer to be seated or give any info about their cuisine, or what time I prefer to come, or even what my occasion is or if I might need any special arrangements. All they cared to cover was the minimum charge, age restrictions and to send them the Facebook profiles of the guests (invasion of privacy much?). I sent them what they needed anyway.I called again midweek to double check and re-insist on the importance of the occasion and it seemed as there were no problems.I get a message a night before the reservation day saying that “reservation was rejected due to full capacity”. I called back to complain and kindly asked them to sort something out as I was under the impression that my reservation was okay, the guy had no idea what I was talking about but anyway they said they would sort something out and call me back in minutes and then nobody called and their number stopped connecting. I messaged, also they completely ignored me.When I told my sister she tried to contact them to reserve and guess what? There was a reservation! Wow.Ofcourse by now we have zero interest in ever stepping foot in such a place.Not to mention, the people who answer for reservations have zero class, zero social skills and do not make you feel welcome at the least. Just pure horrible. AND the whole “please send us the Facebook links of the people who are coming” stunt is just too cheap. Like, who does that, that’s beyond weird. Simply set a dress code, a minimum and say “door selection applies”. But like I said, so much Sass but zero class.

Too expensive for small portions (pretty tasty though). Staff was weird too, standing behind us too closely. However, the decor is pretty and the Nile view is quite nice.

Food was really good highly recommend the tenderloin that was my favorite! Chicken and risotto were good too!

The place has a great view of the Nile, the food is not bad but nothin amazing. The drinks alright but the space is small and gets too crowded. Music is very commercial so no specific genre will suit all needs.

The reservation service is a joke. The atmosphere is mediocre and worst still, the condescending tone they deploy while taking reservations on whats app.Save your money for some place else that is more fancy and decent.

Overpriced, overcrowded, the reservation policies are even more weird than the managers attitude. The only good thing about the place is the nice view over the Nile, but I wouldnt specially go there for it.

Aside from the poor ventilation system, especially in summer, place is considered average. Albeit, food is good more often than not.Highly relying on its Nile view, in other words, if it wasnt for the view this place would have shut doors a long time ago.

Lovely music and crowd, leaning towards old is gold kinda stuff. Staff is pretty awesome too, but for some reason they dont have wifi and the place is not adequately ventilated even though its literally a float-boat so youre surrounded by windows. Youre not allowed to open those, though, so it gets pretty hot (and crowded).

The resturant ambience is cool and the Nile view is the cherry on the top. The food was good and staff was attentive. Salmon was very good to try. Tuesday is their big night usually with live music. Weekends could be busy too.
