I visited here for a day trip. There are four private bath rooms, which require additional fee. The facility is clean and the staff is very nice. unfortunately the water is not 100% natural hot spring it is dilute it with water. Consequently the smell of hot spring is nearly zero. No smell of chlorine.

Even the smaller rooms are big. All the food was lovely and after dinner, you enjoy the many facilities which include several onsen as well as a sauna. The service from staff is excellent which gives it the whole package - well worth the price staying here.

Best part of my japan trip so far!!The staff was incredible. The lady who welcomed us had a really solid english base and she was the best!Our assigned waiter showed us how to eat the traditional japanease meals and we are very grateful for his time. He was trying some english as well which was cute.The baths are wonderful and the establishment is incredibly beautiful.A must see!Just be careful and ask for direction when you take the bus to go there, its pretty much just in japanease :)Definitely recommend this place and i will be back if i have the opportunity!Thank you dear everyone at the Ryokan Sanjiro for a wonderful stay! 😊
